EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS!!
TL;DR help me afford some groceries until I'm able to work and help my boyfriend immigrate!
Hi everyone! I'm not usually up front with my personal life on here. I'm Scotty, my boyfriend and I are in a tight spot. We're two poor neurodivergent trans men, trying to live together in Canada.
The state of jobs and any kind of unemployment assistance in my province is abysmal (as it is everywhere in this country), I've struggled with employment and poverty all my life. We're doing our best to have my bf move here with me, but where he's from the US, he needs a work permit. With myself being disabled, it makes finding work harder and puts a lot on him being to be our only income. My previous living situation was horrible, so we're trying to avoid having to return there or have him move back to the States.
If you're interested, I am opening emergency discount commissions to take things out of the red. Prices are USD.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will draw just about anything, but I will refuse anything that makes me too uncomfortable. I do character and furry/anthro art.
please don't tag! reblog if you can! thank you all for reading!!

The Society of Masterless Men
When I began thinking about outlaws and outlaw history I realized that if outlaw just means one who breaks the law, then I could write about the lives of nearly every citizen. So I define outlaw as one who not only breaks the law, but who survives by breaking the law or essentially lives outside of it. And the more I delve into Canadas past, the more outlaws I discover, and many of them are worthy of our attention. As an introduction to Canadian outlaw history, here is the story of a group of Newfoundland rebels who survived without masters for half a century.
The story of the Society of Masterless Men, which included women and children, begins in the 18th-century settlement of Ferryland, in Newfoundland. In order to colonize Newfoundland, The British Empire created plantations. These were settlements of primarily Irish indentured servants, many of them very young, (thus their name: the Irish Youngsters), abducted from Ireland either by force or guile and brought to the South Shore of Newfoundland where they were literally sold to fishing masters. Their price: $50 a head.
These village plantations were primarily set up by consortiums and cabals of wealthy merchants in England. The fishing masters were essentially the Lords and Ladies of the villages, living in luxury and security while surrounded by dozens, even hundreds, of indentured servants who fished and labored in the camps processing the fishing catch. British frigates were stationed in the harbors and marines patrolled the town. Because there wasn’t a local police force, the Navy helped reinforce the authority of the local fishing masters.
The workers in these fishing villages were barely a step up from slaves. Corporal punishment was routinely used and everyday life was harsh and brutal. In the small settlement of Ferryland, for instance, there were a gallows and three whipping posts, in separate regions of the town. When a man was sentenced to be flogged for stealing a jug of rum or refusing to work for one of the fishing masters, he was taken to all three posts and whipped so the whole town would have an opportunity to witness the punishment as a warning.
The settlement of Ferryland was founded by Sir George Calvert around 1620, and was partly intended as a “refuge for ...Catholics.” It’s not clear ifthere were any “free” Catholics, or only Catholic servants. This was a time of penal law and repression of Catholicism in Britain and at least some Irish Catholics voluntarily came to the New World to escape persecution. Unfortunately, the laws in Newfoundland were the same as in the Old World. The orders given to the governor from 1729 to 1776 were: “You are to permit a liberty of conscience to all, except Papists, so they be contented with a quiet and peaceable enjoyment of the same, not giving offense or scandal to the government.”
This order wasn’t always strictly followed and around the mid 1700’s there was a crackdown on Catholicism. In 1743, the governor of the time, Smith, wrote to the magistrate in Ferryland, John Benger, instructing him to be mindful of the “Irish papists” in the area. William Keen, the chief magistrate of the city of St. John’s was killed by a group of Irishmen in 1752. Following this assassination, penal laws were strictly enforced for the next thirty or forty years.
Life wasn’t much better for those in the British Navy patrolling the area. The Navy wielded its authority over its seamen with zero compassion and nothing but discipline enforced by abuse and violence.
Food rations were slim and flogging was common. For instance keelhauling - dragging a seaman on ropes under the keel of a ship, thereby shredding his flesh on the sharp edged barnacles- was still a legal punishment even though it frequently resulted in death.
Some refer to the Society of Masterless Men as lore or a traditionally told story, one for which there is little documentary evidence. But there is a fair amount of facts that are known about the Masterless Men. And, as a matter of context, we know a lot about the injustice of the British Empire and of the cruelty of many of its managers and henchmen. We know that indentured servants were brought to Newfoundland and treated with brutality, as were the seamen in the Royal Navy. We also know that one Irish-born Peter Kerrivan was among those young indentured servants and abused seamen. It is largely believed that he was a reluctant seaman, having been pressed into service.
Some time in 1750, while Kerrivan’s ship was docked in Ferryland, he escaped (historians usually choose to say “deserted”). Together with two or three escaped indentured fishermen, he helped establish a lookout and base in the Butter Pot Barrens, a wild area of the Avalon Peninsula, for outlaws. This was the beginning of the Masterless Men.
Hunted by the authorities, the Masterless Men soon learned a way of life based on subsistence and sharing. They came into contact with Newfoundland’s aboriginal peoples, the Mi’qmaq and the Beothuk, who taught the rebels survival skills. They learned how to hunt for food based on the caribou herd on the Peninsula.
At the time, one could be hanged for running away. Nevertheless many young men escaped from the plantations and tookuplives as outlaws. In 1774, for instance, a petition written by Bonavista merchants, justices of the peace, and others, was sent to Governor Shuldham to complain of a number of “masterless” Irishmen who had gone to live in a secluded cove and “were there building fishing rooms.” But Kerrivan’s band of young companions were among the luckiest and best organized.
Word of the well organized free men spread and fresh runaways from coastal settlements came to join them. Eventually their numbers swelled to between 20 and 50 men. There were also women, but their numbers are unknown. The literature I found mention the women simply as “wives,” although I imagine them as strong, rebellious women sickened by the misery and cruelty that surrounded them who also yearned for a freer and better way oflife and whojoined their outlaw husbands voluntarily.
After a while, the group of comrades began trading caribou meat and hides with allies in the remote villages, receiving supplies such as flour, tea, and bullets. They also organized stealth raids against the fishery plantations.
By this time the British authorities, without a police or militia of their own, were beginning to fear that this group of anarchic rebels would inspire too many others to desertion and ordered the Navy to track the freedom-loving band down and make examples of them. Some years passed before the first expedition against the Masterless Men was organized and, by then, the rebels had become skilled wilderness inhabitants. Anticipating the attack or somehow being forewarned, Kerrivan and his comrades cut a series of blind trails which confounded their pursuers. The party of marines sent to capture them often found themselves lost and dumbly led into bogs and impenetrable thick bush.
Eventually the Navy did manage to close in on the rebels’ camp near their lookout, but they found the log cabins deserted, “with every rag and chattel removed”. Taking advantage of their pursuers’ confusion, Kerrivan and his friends had moved off towards the north and west. The navy set fire to their little village but had to return to their base without any prisoners. The Masterless group rebuilt their cabins and the Navy burned them down again. Over time the Navy burned down their cabins three times and each time they were rebuilt.
Two of the rebels were captured and hanged, but the state never did succeed in destroying the Society. In fact, the captured young runaways had joined the band only a few weeks earlier and had been taken by surprise away from the main body of the rebels. They were hanged with great dispatch from the yard-arm of the English frigate in Ferryland. No other Masterless Men were ever captured after this incident, presumably because this only made the outlaws more cautious. Some of the tracks that had been carved partly to support their wilderness ways and partly as subterfuge became Newfoundland’s first inland roads. In fact, their road system eventually connected most of the small settlements of the Avalon Peninsula.
For more than a generation the Masterless Men roamed free over the barrens! Over time, perhaps as military rule began to relax or for reasons unknown to this author, their ranks began to dwindle. In 1789, 39 years after escaping, four men gave themselves up on condition that their only punishment would be deportation to Ireland, which was agreed upon. Many of the other rebels settled in remote parts of Newfoundland’s coast and survived as independent fishermen. Kerrivan, who was never captured, is said to have had a partner, four sons and several daughters and is believed to have remained on the barrens well into old age, never returning to civilization.
The children of the Masterless Men gradually drifted out to the coast and settled down in small coves never visited by the navy. They married the children of other outlaws who had settled there generations earlier and together they raised families.
The story of The Society of the Masterless Men is inspiring because they succeeded. A group of people voluntarily joined together in common cause and broke free from their masters, most never to be captured or to return to their work prisons.

Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
A Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) is a travel document issued by certain countries that permits holders to enter and exit the country multiple times within a specified period. This visa category is designed to accommodate frequent travelers, business people, and those with family or personal ties to the host country.
Understanding the METV
While the term 'tourist' might suggest solely leisure travel, METVs often cater to a broader spectrum of visitors. Business travelers, for instance, can utilize an METV for frequent business trips, saving the hassle of repeated visa applications. Similarly, individuals with family abroad can use it for regular visits.
Key characteristics of an METV typically include:
Multiple entries: The visa holder can enter the country multiple times within its validity period.
Validity period: This is the duration for which the visa remains valid. It can range from a few months to several years.
Duration of stay: This is the maximum permitted stay for each visit.
Conditions and restrictions: Each country has its own specific rules regarding eligibility, required documents, and conditions of stay.
Benefits of an METV
Convenience: The most obvious benefit is the elimination of the need to apply for a new visa for each visit.
Flexibility: It offers greater flexibility in travel plans, allowing for spontaneous trips or extended stays.
Status: In some cases, holding an METV can enhance one's perceived status or credibility.
Challenges and Considerations
While the METV is undoubtedly convenient, it’s essential to understand the potential challenges and considerations:
Eligibility: Not everyone qualifies for an METV. Countries typically have strict eligibility criteria based on factors like nationality, financial status, travel history, and purpose of visit.
Cost: METVs often come with higher fees compared to single-entry visas.
Conditions of stay: There might be restrictions on activities permitted during the stay, such as work or study.
Visa refusal: Even with eligibility, visa applications can be denied. It's crucial to provide accurate and complete information.
Countries Offering METVs
The availability of METVs varies widely between countries. Some popular destinations known for issuing METVs include:
Schengen Area countries: Offering various categories of multiple-entry visas based on the purpose of travel.
United States: Provides different visa categories, including the B1/B2 visitor visa which can be issued for multiple entries.
United Kingdom: Offers Standard Visitor visas with multiple entry options.
Canada: Provides multiple-entry visitor visas for eligible applicants.
Australia: Offers various visa subclasses with multiple entry options.
Tips for Applying for an METV
Research thoroughly: Understand the specific requirements of the country you're applying to.
Prepare meticulously: Gather all necessary documents and ensure they are accurate and complete.
Be truthful: Provide honest and accurate information on the visa application.
Consider a visa consultant: If the process seems overwhelming, consider seeking professional assistance.
Obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa can significantly enhance your travel experience. By understanding the intricacies involved, you can increase your chances of a successful application and make the most of your travels.

ICJP Legal Working Group for Canadian Accountability (ICJP LWGCA) has written a notice of intention to seek prosecution of Canadian government officials, for aiding and abetting war crimes in Gaza.
Prime Minister Trudeau is one of four Canadian politicians who have been issued with the notice.
Toronto, 16 November 2023 – The ICJP’s Legal Working Group for Canadian Accountability (ICJP LWGCA) has issued a notice to the Government of Canada of its intention to prosecute Canadian officials for their role in aiding and abetting Israel’s perpetration of war crimes.
The notice was issued to leading members of the Liberal government, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly, Minister of National Revenue Marie-Claude Bibeau, and Minister of Justice (Attorney General) Arif Virani.
The notice included a stark warning that Canadian government officials could be individually liable and face before the International Criminal Court if there is evidence they have aided and abetted Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity (a violation of Article 25(3)(c) and (d) of the Rome Statute).
The initiative has been supported by numerous leading domestic and international organizations dedicated human rights, international law, peace and foreign policy.
To date over 11,000 people in Gaza have been killed by Israel’s military. Israel’s alleged international crimes include the withholding of humanitarian aide and safe passage, indiscriminately bombing civilians, and ethnic cleansing through a campaign of forced displacement of 1.5 million people. All of this has occurred while Israel has issued ominous statements indicative of a significant risk of genocide.
Despite this, the Canadian government has continued to pledge its steadfast support for Israel. It has also refused to halt arms exports, refused to take action to prevent the illegal recruitment of Canadian volunteers to assist Israel’s military, and refused to stop millions of dollars from being unlawfully sent by some Canadian organizations with charitable status to benefit Israel’s military.
ICJP LWGCA calls on the Government of Canada to end its complicity in war crimes by calling for a ceasefire, canceling all arms exports permits to Israel, prosecute those recruiting Canadian volunteers for Israel’s armed forces, and prevent Canadian charities from using donations to benefit Israel’s armed forces.
ICJP LWGCA continues to gather evidence in relation to the conduct of Canadian officials and intends to pursue all appropriate courses of action to ensure that those responsible for aiding and abetting war crimes are held accountable before the International Criminal Court and in other appropriate legal forums.

Art Commission Terms of Service
If you’re interested in hiring me for a private commission, I highly encourage you to read and accept my Terms of Service. This ensures both you, the client, and I, the artist, have a smooth and easy experience. You don't have to read it now, but I definitely recommend skimming over it to get the general gist of it. A lot of what’s below the basic rules is for more professional transactions and does not require most clients to read/memorize (other than the Rush Fee and Refunds section). Thank you for reading my ToS!
For art inquiries, email my commission email ([email protected]), or message me on any of my social media platforms located on my linktree!
⋆. 𐙚 ˚
Links are also located at the bottom of the page to my social media directly! :3
⋆. 𐙚 ˚

NOTE FOR PAYPAL USERS OUTSIDE OF THE US - If commissioning from Canada, there will be a 3.5% upcharge on commission payment to cover the conversion rate cost, and anyone else outside of the US and Canada will be charged an additional 4% to cover the costs. This will be rounded up to the nearest dollar in the case of uneven change.
(Ex: $75+3.5%=$77.625, this would be rounded up to $78USD.)
2) All transactions $50 USD and below must be paid in full, and there is no refunds for art in the 'basic shading/depth' stage and above.
This is to avoid any work being wasted, and to avoid scandals/fraud. For works that cost $50+ USD, a payment plan can be discussed, but for anything $50 USD or less I require payment up front. Please read my full TOS below for rules on refunds. (See Term 9, Sect. 3)
3) Full references are required, or else it will be counted as a 'custom design'.
Custom design commissions cost more due to extra labor on my part to figure out the details, and working back and forth with you to get your commission perfected. With this, I will need proper references unless you're willing to pay the extra cost! References should preferably not be pixel art (small sprite) since it's hard to figure out details on such a small scale.

Will NOT draw:
• Men/Masc presenting Humanoids

• Certain Media/Fan content/ETC (There is plenty of media out there that I am not a fan of/do not like, and I will refuse any commissions that fall under said media, because they typically break the rules I have stated already. If you have any questions about a certain fan base that I will not draw, feel free to ask!)
• Heavy/Realistic gore
If there are any questions you may have or you want to discuss anything, always feel free to contact me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you have gotten through this whole page, I really do appreciate it, and thank you for your patience.

• The following cases are considered commercial use: Reproducing and selling the artwork, publicly or privately, cases where you receive profit from a medium/platform where you have posted my artwork, (eg. Patreon, YouTube, Twitch, a personal site, business cards etc).
TIER CONTENTS % INCREASE
TIER 1 - TWITCH/YOUTUBE/TWITTER PROMOTION - 100%
TIER 2 - PATREON CONTENT/BUSINESSCARDS/ PERSONAL SITE - 200%
TIER 3 - REPRODUCING/SELLING/MERCH - 300% + DISCUSSED % OF SALES (royalties and/or bonuses)
【COPYRIGHT⁷】
• I reserve the right to sign and/or watermark my own work. I will send you a full resolution image (by email or via google docs), but my signature will remain on both the full resolution and smaller versions of the Artwork.
• You are responsible for protecting your ownership over rights to a character design made by me by creating a copy image with your name added as well (ie. through a watermark) when uploading on external sites.
• I retain all copyright over my work, which includes the right to redistribute, reproduce, or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion unless otherwise agreed upon. In the case of a Public Commission, I may do whatever I wish with the art (eg. post it to other sites such as Instagram) but will give proper credit to you for ownership of the character’s design.
• In the case of a commission, I will not claim the rights to a character design unless it was one of my own designs. Therefore I will not reuse/resell the Artwork for personal or commercial projects unless agreed upon.
• In the case of an adoptable design, I will not reuse/resell the rights to the design once ownership is transferred to you, the Client.
【NDA - PRIVACY REQUEST⁸】
• If you wish for your request to be private, it must be stated during the ordering process.
• I reserve the right to charge a fee if I deem fit.
• The privacy request entails that I am not allowed to share any WIPs on social media, nor am I allowed to stream the process of the commission anywhere.
• However, this also means that you must refrain from sharing any such spoilers and details yourself.
• This is especially important to consider if you are an Vtuber and want me to keep assets private until your debut.
• If applicable, an NDA fee usually starts at +5% of the total quote, but it might differ. The bigger the project the bigger the fee.
【COMMISSIONS⁹】
ORDERING
• You are expected to have read and understood my rules and spoken with me to confirm the piece you’re looking to purchase has been accepted.
• Your commission slot is only confirmed/reserved once you receive a reply from me discussing the details (as needed).
• I reserve the right to make small changes to your request (ex: due to artistic style) as I see fit unless otherwise discussed. To guarantee the total accuracy of your commission request, please make note of the required details and elements in the form.
• If your commission is highly detailed in any aspect, I have the right to charge a fee to include these details. This fee will be stated before the transaction, and you hold the right to make changes to your commission request (eg. change a character, agree to simplified design changes) before the transaction is complete.
NOTE - There are certain extra charges depending on the changes made after the line art stage unless it is an error on my side, such as I forgot a design aspect.
• Please make your request concisely worded with minimal abbreviations, so as to make the note clear to read. Feel free to provide images as needed.
• Any emails, private messages, and comments that you send must be in English, as I am monolingual (sorry!!). Miscommunication due to mistranslation is at fault of the client if they cannot communicate in English.
• Before taking part in any transaction, you are required to wait for a reply so that we can discuss the details.
• I will - after everything is processed and confirmed - send you an total price, along with payment options. You need to confirm the payment with me before I start your order.
PAYMENT
• I am not responsible for any mistakes that are made on your part over the course of the transaction.
• I will only accept USD via Paypal (international and US) or Cashapp (US only) as payment. You are responsible for making currency conversions and covering the conversion cost
• It is expected that you deposit 100% of the price upfront before I start. No exceptions unless otherwise discussed for more expensive orders.
• After 100% of the payment is sent, I will start Sketching. The Sketch will then be sent to you to confirm details, composition, etc.
• I will initiate the transaction to avoid accidental transactions by sending you link(s) to my digital payment accounts. Do not send me any kind of payment until I have confirmed I can accept your commission AND have asked for payment. Failure to comply will result in refund and potential cancellation of your commission.
• Payments via Paypal are sent via Invoice method only unless otherwise stated, but do not require an account to pay. I will cover the Paypal fees as it is expected from the Artist per PayPal ToS. What you see is what you will have to pay.
• I do not accept payment from shared PayPal accounts unless you are not of legal age and use a parent/guardian’s PayPal account.
• If payment is not made in a timely manner (48h unless discussed otherwise) after I’ve placed the Invoice, the commission will be cancelled. Please contact me if there are any delays or issues preventing payment. Repeated counts of commissioning a project and failing to pay will result in blacklisting.
• For auctions, you are NOT allowed to retract your bid. On your first problematic transaction, you’ll receive a simple verbal warning. The next time you back down from the auction you will be blacklisted and refused the opportunity to bid in the future. Only bid if you are sure you can pay your bidding.
REFUNDS
• I can refund 100% of the payment only if I have not started working on the sketch unless discussed and agreed otherwise by my own confirmation.
• Once I start the sketch, you can be refunded up until the amount that would be paid for either a sketch commission, or up until the stage your commission is (excluding basic depth shading and above).
• In the case of the commissioned artwork being a gift, but being unable to give it to the person, a partial to full refund can be discussed and agreed upon between you and I.
• If I cancel a project, I WILL reimburse the lost fees and refund 100% of what was paid, including covering the conversion rate charge for commissioners outside the US.
• Past the sketching stage there will be NO FULL REFUNDS, and past the Base Depth stage, there is NO REFUNDS.
• The only case of a full refund past the Base Depth stage is if I do not deliver the product in general, or do not uphold what was agreed upon in our contract.
• If we agree on a payment plan and I start the commission after the first deposit has been done, I will not refund your said deposit if you back out of the Payment Plan.
CHARGEBACK
• You are NOT authorized to issue a chargeback for any reason.
• A refund will always be available for almost any stage of art, so no chargeback will be needed.
• If, for any reason, your PayPal/Cashapp account malfunctions or authorizes an automatic chargeback/refund request without your knowledge, you must contact me ASAP in order to resolve the issue. Please and thank you!
• Purposely issuing a chargeback without contacting me to cancel/refund a project will result in an immediate blacklisting for you, as well as your email address, and anyone sharing your PayPal account, including side accounts.
QUEUE/SCHEDULING/WORK SPEED/DEADLINES
• I will usually take a 1-3 days to respond to your initial order inquiry.
• You reserve the right to set a deadline for your commission. This deadline must be discussed prior to payment.
• I have the right to decline a project if there is too short of a time allowance. I reserve the right to take up to 3 weeks to begin work on your project, and an additional 4-8 weeks to work on said project as needed. (This is usually due to life factors outside of my control.)
• If you did not alert me to a deadline, you must not send reminders until this 4 week’s buffer period has passed. Reminders will be ignored if they relate to work that I have prioritized above your project, including other commissions and gift art.
• Commissions are prioritized by ‘first come, first served’, as in whoever paid before you will be prioritized no matter the paid project.
• Tier commissions (See Term 6) are prioritized by tier and deadline, but I will only take 1-2 tier commissions on at a time.
• If due dates are discussed, it is also the clients’ responsibility to ensure prompt communication. I will not be held responsible for late delivery if the client did not contact me about fhe necessary topic(s) beforehand.
• For delivery of a product, an email for me to send the full resolution image as well as anything else will need to be provided by you upon payment.
• No harassment of my work speed will be tolerated, regardless of the time that has passed. (Harassment may result in a total blacklist.)
• It is possible that I might work randomly and with variation on commissions, as this is generally due to the time allotted, tier, and difficulty of said commission. (Ex: sketch commission will come before a fully rendered piece)
• You reserve the right to be notified of any delays.
RUSH FEE
• Rush fees are at least +25% of the original commission price, but the fee will change depending on the amount of time allotted by the client and the project itself.
• Estimated project start dates can be provided upon request but can not be fully guaranteed.
• However, in some cases, I am able to accept a rush commission, which will be put in first priority, or depending on the time frame for other accepted rush commissions.
• Full refunds can be provided if I do not finish by the latest due date given or partial up until the stage I was at in the commission.
• In the case of a base depth and above stage commission, the rush fee will be refunded, but the rest of the pay will be kept by me.
REVISIONS AND FEEDBACK
• I will send WIP (‘work in progress’) images after 100% of the payment is completed for orders under $50USD and when 50% of the payment is competed for bigger orders.
• These images will come in .jpeg or .png files, typically sent through email, Google docs, or a DM. If you're unsure of your options, feel free to ask to see how I can send you your order!
• The responsibility is on you to provide the necessary details and references for your commission.
• I am not responsible for any unsatisfactory element of the finished design if no feedback was given to amend it prior to sending the final project.
• I will only send a guaranteed WIP for the Sketch initially, but you are free to request a WIP at any given time. I would much appreciate requests to be spaced out reasonably to avoid interruptions to my workflow!
• In the initial sketch stage, I will provide you with a 1-3 composition photos unless you know what you're looking for specifically. Once a composition sketch is chosen, two major changes can be made to the sketch. After this, only minor changes can be made (unless it is a flaw on my side, ex: forgetting a physical aspect of the character).
• Only minor revisions (within reason) can be made after the sketch stage, but excessive revisions will be additional charges to the total of the commission.
• Each time I send a WIP to a client, I ask the client to provide feedback to me. If no suggestions are requested, the client is held responsible for dissatisfaction with incorrect details.
• Three major changes will only be made at the sketch stage. Any other changes must be minimal unless a fee is paid. Color corrections will be free of charge unless asking for the entire color composition to be changed.
• Any major changes to the character or subject will be subject to a fee, and the fee will depend on the nature of the change.
• I will not be held responsible for any changes in ownership of the said character.
• After the order is completed, minor changes such as color adjustments are allowed if the missing or inaccurate elements are my faults (e.g., I overlooked details provided in the order).
• In the absence of feedback from the customer, any changes to the final piece will be subject to a fee.
• I will not redraw a completed commission unless payment is received for a second order.
FINAL PRODUCT
• There may be slight differences between the samples in my gallery and the illustration you will receive.
• The commissioner must respect that my artistic style cannot be altered.
• I reserve the right to reject critiques pertaining to artistic skill and stylization, and if the critique reduces the artistic quality of the piece.
• Credit to me, the Artist, is required when you post or use it on another platform.
• You, the Client, are responsible for saving any information, images, and other digital data I provide.
• Any file you paid for will be available from me for as long as I can keep the images, typically backed up on my computer. However, I can not guarantee against computer failure or accidental deletion or loss.
• I am not required to post your project in any public space, and if posted, I am not required to keep it there indefinitely. I have the right to delete or remove any public project, even if you paid for it, as you should have your own copy for personal use.
• Feedback of the final product is permitted after completion of the piece, through private messages or comments.
• Any comments that are rude, inappropriate, inflammatory, and/or non-constructive may result in blacklisting.

"In the way of suggesting remedies for these injurious features of the prison environment, I am afraid that I have very little to offer. One thing is certain; known homosexuals must be weeded out and segregated. Men must be given the recreation (preferably good physical exercise to be followed by bathing) and entertainment with which to make the present attractive enough so that there will be less need of escape-mechanisms like daydreams and "prison stupor." In certain parts of the world, or so I have read, after the prisoner has served a certain number of years, he is permitted to colonize in a guarded area where he may live a normal sexual life (as in Salvador, and, I believe, the Bilibid Prison Colony). I earnestly recommend this as, on the whole, the best remedy for sexually abnormal conditions and behavior in American prisons. In the meantime, only a very intelligent warden who is sufficiently a real person to win the complete confidence of the inmates, can make any headway against present conditions. For in the long run, the prisoners themselves are the only ones who can work out the solution of the problem. There is very little likelihood of their doing so at the present time, however, thanks to the type of warden and guard which predominates in our prisons. There is, therefore, very little probability that in the immediate future very much will be done, or even attempted, to improve conditions which, in nine cases out of ten, the prison officials will refuse to admit even exist."
- Victor F. Nelson, Prison Days and Nights. Second edition. With an introduction by Abraham Myerson, M.D. Garden City: Garden City Publishing Co., 1936. p. 168-169.
[Nelson, like some other ex-convict reformers in the United States, Canada, and elsewhere, places a lot of faith on settler colonialism as a solution to prison issues. He views resettlement, farming, colonization, as making men strong and whole again in a strictly heternormative manner. The redemptive frontier is a common motif in American and Canadian society at this time. And he refers to real prison colonization schemes in the Philippines and Central America that used ex-convicts as settlers, just as in Australia a century before. Less common is Nelson's belief in prisoner self-government and participation in prison administration. In Bolivia, Mexico and a few other Latin American countries, a penal colony with prisoner self-government was a common type of reform prison.]

Does your tribe have a written constitution? I know the Quechan tribe did since the 60s cuz I did research on them for a Landscape Arch class, but I heard it was inconsistent amongst other tribes given how destabilized things got. Still sucks how ass it is to vote for this country with the lack of poll booths and PO Boxes
If you consider wampum "written," maybe. But if you mean "written" as in pen and paper, then no.
Our laws are the laws of the Haudenosaunee, and the main law the Haudenosaunee have is the Great Law of Peace, which is orally recited every year. Last year some of my classmates went to Wisconsin to hear the Oneida recite Great Law.
That's not to say we lack all forms of documentation; many, though not all, of us carry tribal cards. They're based on the Jay Treaty which says Haudenosaunee people and First Nations people are allowed to freely cross between Canada and the US.
Tumblr media
In addition to being an indicator of tribal enrollment, red cards should theoretically allow us to travel without forcing us to rely on US passports.
The catch, however, and what makes things annoying, is very few if any places recognize our tribal cards as valid forms of ID, even the places that arguably should, like the Rainbow Bridge between the US and Canada. Crossing into Canada is always a crapshoot because most guards don't give a shit and won't let you cross without a passport.
New York only officially recognizes Akwesasne (St. Regis) Mohawk tribal cards. They don't recognize Tuscarora tribal cards, and that's the reason I was unable to get my permit the first time I went to the DMV. It didn't count as a point of identification, and so I lacked enough points to pass qualification requirements needed to take the test.
---
Still sucks how ass it is to vote for this country with the lack of poll booths and PO Boxes
We're lucky in that we have a... semi-working mail service, but the more embarrassing issue is takeout, tbh. Sometimes restaurants will deliver to just one side of the rez but not the other. Or the delivery person will stand by their car and refuse to walk up to your porch because they binged too many true crime podcasts and think they're gonna get murdered over a pizza lmao.
Re. voting: a lot of us don't vote, which is another issue of tribal sovereignty.
People have a huge stick up their ass about not voting, and they like to wax poetic about how you're a fascist if you don't. But honestly, it's really not that simple an issue for us because we have to grapple with the very real possibility that if enough of us register to vote in US elections, it sends the federal government the message that we don't consider ourselves a sovereign and self-determining nation. That we consider them our government instead. And that could potentially give them grounds to disseminate us.
That's always a slippery slope no matter what because the government wants any excuse it can take no matter how small, but it puts a lot of onus on us to not rely on them as much as possible. As a result, we tend to neglect a lot of shit that most Americans would balk at, like discarding census requests, not getting a passport, and not voting.
My aunt chewed me out merely for registering to vote at the DMV. (Apparently Council keeps tabs on everyone who registers. As if I needed any more reason to call myself a bad Indian, lmao.)
Granted, I haven't voted since registering, but... She really laid into me over something I incidentally did while getting my permit because everyone rags on you about how you really should vote, right? So I wasn't really thinking about it and she got big mad lol.

Why Should You Seek Legal Counsel from Immigration Lawyers in Canada
Tumblr media
With the increase in job opportunities, scope of education, and healthcare facilities, Canada has become a thriving economy in the last few decades. So, it’s true that your decision to immigrate to Canada can help you see a brighter tomorrow. But the immigration process might not be as simple as it may seem. Without in-depth knowledge of bureaucracy and the paperwork involved, things might become difficult for you to handle the entire process on your own.
Why hire a Canada Immigration Lawyer?
It’s not mandatory for an individual to seek specialized legal advice from immigration lawyers in Canada. However, it can surely increase the chances of achieving a successful immigration application. If you aren’t sure why you should hire an immigration lawyer, here are the reasons explained below.
Relevant Knowledge and Expertise to Handle Complex Cases
It’s necessary for you to have information on the basic immigration process and its legal requirements. However, your case might have some specific complexities which require specialized knowledge and expertise. For instance, any criminal or medical inadmissibility might block your immigration, and to eliminate such obstacles, it’s always ideal to seek professional help.
Covid-19 has influenced Canadian immigration laws further. Understanding the testing requirements, quarantines, vaccine requirements, etc., can be critical sometimes. So, it’s always better to have an experienced lawyer by your side.
Rule Out Any Kind of Confusion Involved
No matter how much you plan and prepare for the immigration process, there is always room for confusion. In fact, browsing the government website might be a little tough, especially for non-native English speakers. The forms, required documentation, and process can change without prior notice, making it more complicated. So, whether you’re applying for a work permit, permanent residence, family sponsorship, or any other immigration program, hiring a trusted lawyer can always be beneficial for you.
Prior refusal of Immigration Application
It’s embarrassing to take all the pain and stress of preparing and submitting an immigration application only to get it refused by the government authority. So, if your application has been refused before, it’s ideal to rule out the odd chances by hiring a competent Canadian immigration lawyer. He will not only review your application but, also find the errors and make the necessary corrections.
Improve Your Chances of Immigration Success
There’s no magic trick to obtain a successful application. However, with the experience of understanding and synthesizing Canadian immigration laws, the lawyer can ensure that the application is being filled out properly and proceed smoothly.
While filling in the details on your own, you might come across legal language or some questions which you aren’t familiar to. On the contrary, a specialized lawyer has a detailed understanding of the different streams of immigration law and can make the legalese easy to understand for you.
Closing Thoughts
Hiring a competent lawyer to apply express entry in Canada is a prudent investment that can help you succeed in your Canada immigration journey. Seeking her legal representation can help you live your long-cherished dream of moving to Canada. So, if you’re willing to immigrate to this prosperous nation but confused about how to get started, you must get in touch with a proficient lawyer for legal counsel.

Why You Need Certificate Attestation: A Comprehensive Guide
Certificate attestation is an essential process for anyone planning to work, study, or live abroad. It is the process of authenticating the documents issued by the government of your home country to ensure that they are recognized as valid in another country. Whether you are applying for a visa, pursuing higher education overseas, or looking to secure a job in a foreign nation, certificate attestation is often a mandatory step in the documentation process.
In this blog, we will explore why certificate attestation is important, the benefits it offers, and how the process works.
What Is Certificate Attestation?
Certificate attestation refers to the official verification of a document by a designated authority, such as the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), embassies, or consulates of foreign countries, or even state-level authorities. The purpose of attestation is to validate the authenticity of the certificate or document issued in one country so that it is recognized and accepted by authorities in another country.
Common documents that often require attestation include:
Birth certificates
Marriage certificates
Educational certificates (such as degrees, diplomas, and transcripts)
Professional certificates
Commercial documents
Medical certificates
The attestation ensures that the document is legitimate, reducing the chances of fraud and manipulation. Without attested documents, foreign authorities might refuse to process your application for a visa, education, or employment.
Why Do You Need Certificate Attestation?
Legal Recognition of Documents Abroad The primary reason for certificate attestation is to gain legal recognition of your documents abroad. Countries require attested documents to verify your identity, educational qualifications, or professional experience before issuing a visa, employment permit, or admission to an academic institution. Without this verification, your documents may be deemed invalid or rejected.
Required for International Employment If you are applying for a job overseas, employers often require that your educational qualifications and professional certificates be attested to ensure they meet international standards. Attestation assures your potential employer that your credentials are genuine and recognized by relevant authorities in your home country.
Necessary for Higher Education Abroad Students planning to study abroad must submit attested educational certificates as part of their admission application. This applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Universities and educational institutions require these documents to verify that you meet their academic standards, making attestation a crucial part of your study abroad journey.
Visa Applications Most visa processes, whether for work, study, or family reunification, require attested certificates. A valid attested certificate serves as proof of your qualifications, identity, or marital status. For instance, if you are applying for a work visa, an attested educational certificate may be required to demonstrate your qualifications.
Immigration and Residency Many countries, such as the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and the UAE, require attested documents as part of their immigration process. This is particularly important for individuals seeking permanent residency or citizenship. The attestation process ensures that the documents submitted in support of your immigration application are authentic and comply with the country's requirements.
Smooth International Transactions Attested documents are also needed for conducting international business, signing contracts, or engaging in commercial transactions with foreign entities. If you're involved in setting up a business, applying for loans, or engaging in any official dealings abroad, your certificates must be attested to prove their legitimacy to foreign authorities and institutions.
Avoiding Fraud and Legal Issues Attesting documents can prevent legal issues and fraud. It ensures that all certificates submitted are genuine and have been verified by a trusted authority. In many cases, if a document is found to be fake or tampered with, it can lead to serious legal consequences, including criminal charges.
The Process of Certificate Attestation
The process of attestation varies depending on the country where the certificate is issued and the destination country where the document is being used. However, the general steps for attestation are as follows:
Notary Public Attestation (Initial Stage) In many cases, the first step in the attestation process is to get your certificate notarized by a notary public. This is particularly common for personal documents like birth or marriage certificates. A notary public will verify the authenticity of your document and provide a notarized seal.
State/Local Authority Attestation After notarization, the document may need to be attested by a state-level or local government authority. This is the case for educational and professional certificates. For example, educational certificates may need to be attested by the State Education Department or other relevant state authorities.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Attestation Once your document has been attested by the relevant local authorities, the next step is the attestation by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in your home country. The MEA is responsible for verifying documents to ensure that they are in line with international standards.
Embassy or Consular Attestation Finally, the document may need to be attested by the embassy or consulate of the destination country. This step is crucial as it confirms that the document is recognized and validated by the government of the country where you intend to use it. The embassy or consulate may require additional steps or specific formats, depending on the type of document and its intended use.
Conclusion
Certificate attestation is a critical step for anyone planning to live, work, or study abroad. It ensures the legitimacy of your documents and makes them legally recognized in foreign countries.
From facilitating visa applications to securing international employment, attested documents serve as proof of your qualifications, identity, and other essential information.
While the attestation process may seem tedious and time-consuming, it is necessary to ensure that your documents meet international standards.
Without it, your chances of successfully completing visa applications, university admissions, or immigration procedures can be severely compromised.
If you're unsure about the process or need assistance with document attestation, professional certificate attestation services can guide you through the steps, ensuring that everything is in order and that your documents are accepted globally.
