additions to the skirt story:

it was our prom a few weeks after that, and when i got there wearing a suit, mr. evans made some snide remark abt how like "oh i thought you were going to come wearing a dress" and it's my biggest regret 2 this day that i fucking didn't �� i mean what i actually wore was an electric blue suit, and i'd (accidentally 😳) dyed my hair neon orange, so i was still in a Look 😎 ..but still 😔

the story of what had happened still must have persisted for a while, cos when i started sixth form the next year, my psychology teacher (who i'd also never had b4) asked me abt it, and also said i was v brave and that i could always talk to her too if i need to 😭

i've got no way of knowing what the school's policy is towards trans kids nowadays, but this was back in like, 2013, and as far as i know i was one of the first ppl 2 ever challenge the policy 😳 so i'd like 2 think i might at least have given them s/t to think abt, and maybe hopefully they'll have softened their stance since then?? cos no kid should have 2 go thru w/ arguing their case like i did, especially as like, i didn't even know i was trans at the time, so i didn't have anything to lose by making a scene 😠

I got my green jacket from JCPenney lol. It’s not custom tailored but I went to a department store for more options than S-M-L because it’s really tough for me to find dress clothes that fit w/o more specific sizing. It was a 40short and mrs t rolled up the sleeves a few inches for me :) The shoulders are also a taaaad too wide BUT the button buttoned and that was the closer for me!
