When Wooseok invited you over to his apartment for a movie night you imagined a quite night of spicy chicken feet, fried chicken and cuddling with your boyfriend underneath a large pile of blankets. Yet here you were, surrounded by a bunch of rowdy boys while you watched the horror movie on the screen through your fingertips. You had no idea how anyone found enjoyment watching scary movies, yet you seemed to be the only one in the room who didn’t.

You squirm at a particularly gory scene, shutting your eyes tightly as soon as the masked killer makes his appearance from the shadows. You should have seen it coming as the eerie piano music started to get louder and louder, indicating something spooky was about to happen. Wooseok looks at out of the corner of his eye, trying not to smile at how adorable you looked with your hands glued to your face (he didn’t enjoy the fact knowing you were scared, but he couldn’t help himself).

His arm wraps around you tightly, pulling your closer into his chest. He whispers, “Are you okay?”

You can only nod, unable to tear your eyes away from the screen despite how are you try.

However as soon as one of the characters made a wrong turn, for the nth time, you buried your face into your boyfriend’s sweatshirt. The sound of his heartbeat was loud enough to distract you from the screen. You could follow along with the story line as his heart rate sped up and slowed over the next couple of scenes, telling you everything you needed to know.

You were finally starting to feel at peace until Dongpyo screams from his place on the floor, almost throwing the entire bowl of popcorn up into the air. And making you flinch almost completely off the couch.

Wooseok brushes his fingertips through your hair and whispers. “You can go hang out in my room until the movie is over, Y/N.”

You shake your head. “No, I want to finish it.”

“Are you sure?” he questions, and you know he is giving you that look. The look he gives you when you try to push yourself past your limits. Whether it’s about studying or in this case, watching a horror movie.

You give him a reassuring smile. “I can do it.”

He laces his fingertips into yours, squeezing them tightly but before he can offer you words of comfort a handful of popcorn ends up all over your laps.

“Can you two lovebirds keep it down? Some of us are trying to watch a movie.” Seungyoun quips.

Wooseok knees his friend in the back. “It’s not like I can hear anything over Dongpyo’s screaming.

The younger boy turns around with his mouth open in disbelief. "I am not screaming.”

Wooseok is being a fool, he knows that. Actually, he’s been a fool all summer. While you were gone, making new experiences and hooking up with who-knows-who, he’d been wallowing in self pity, frustrated with the chances he’d let slip so easily. And there’d been plenty of them before you left, but he’d been too much of a coward to take any of them. Which is stupid, because you had kissed him, at that party, in the pool, with water dripping from the tip of your nose and laughter in your eyes and Wooseok couldn’t remember the last time he’d been that happy. But then you’d never talked about it, because the one time you tried he was so flustered that he shot you down and after that he’d somehow missed the right timing and lacked the courage to bring it up again before you left for the summer.  And so, life just continued for you, while Wooseok felt like his time had stopped. He’s still stuck now, because even though it’s been over a month, Wooseok is still thinking about the way it felt to be kissing you.

You on the other hand haven’t waited around for nothing while you were away, and Wooseok knew he had no right to be upset, but the fact that you kissed other people while you were gone hurt. It also fills him with regret and a sense of self-loathing, as he watches you play around in the very same pool you kissed in at the beginning of summer. Your hair is wet and swept back and your cheeks are red from the sun or the undying laughter on your lips. He wishes to be the source of that laughter again, but you haven’t really spoken since your return. It’s weird, because it used to be so very different. You used to talk every single day and you used to play silly pranks and you used to call him your best friend. Now he is just some guy staring at you from the side of the pool, it seems. Eventually you catch him looking, a timid smile on your lips when you meet his gaze.

“Did you wanna come in?” You ask, and Wooseok knows this is your attempt to reach out to him, to try and fix the awkwardness, but all he can think of is who else you asked the same question to over the summer and if they said yes and if you kissed them in the water the way you kissed him, so he shakes his head. You press your lips together and Wooseok knows he made a mistake, knows he’s being childish, but it seems he can’t stop himself from acting foolish when it comes to you. 

“You’re so dumb,” Hyunggu comments, letting himself plop down onto the sunbed next to him, “I didn’t tell you about y/n’s summer hook up just so you could act like a depressed loser.”

Wooseok frowns at his friend, upset to be called out over behavior he is already beating himself up about, “What did you tell me for then?”

“To wake you up, obviously. Y/n isn’t going to endlessly wait for you just because you’re too much of a coward to act. And they aren’t going to run after you either. They already made the first move, more than once actually. It’s your turn to do something, or you’ll lose them. Don’t be such a fool.”

Wooseok doesn’t meet his friend’s gaze, instead staring at his bare feet, “Isn't it too late already?”

“Maybe. Or maybe not. Only one way to find out, right?” Hyunggu gives him a pat before leaning back in his sunbed, closing his eyes to enjoy the feeling of the sunshine on his skin. Wooseok can’t bring himself to do the same, can’t bring himself to relax. His eyes keep flickering back to you. Hyunggu is right, there is only one way to find out, and he’d hate himself for not at least giving it a shot.

He takes a deep breath, and then he gets up and jumps right in, the fresh water splashing around him. You turn your head in surprise.

“Actually I did want to,” Wooseok says, and although he isn’t even saying anything risky, he can hear his own heartbeat, loud and fast, as he waits for your reaction. When you smile, he feels himself flooded by the same sense of relief that he sees in your eyes. You wade over to him but you don’t say anything, leaving the ball in his court, and honestly, it’s fair enough because you’ve tried to approach him several times already. But it’s hard to muster up the courage. He stares at his hands under the water, watches the blurry silhouette of his fingers, before he finally looks back up at you. “I missed you this summer.”

You come a little closer, “Yeah, me too.”

He swallows down the little surge of bitterness that wants to crane its ugly head, because what point is there in asking why you kissed someone else then, if you’re standing in front of him right now, giving him your time and attention and no one else.

“I’m sorry for being weird before you left. And since you came back.”

“Yeah,” you nod, “you were kind of being a dick.”

“Sorry.”

“It’s fine if you don’t want to be anything more, but it kinda sucks you didn’t just tell me.”

“It’s not that,” Wooseok is quick to disagree, “I just—I’m an idiot.”

“So, you do… want to?”

“I do,” He reaches for your hand under the water, timidly tugging at your fingers, “I really do. I was just scared.”

“I’m scared too,” you say and your voice is soft and quiet, and your expression is so vulnerable it almost hurts to look at you, “But maybe we can tackle that fear together?”

Wooseok feels the smile spreading on his face, “I’d like that,” he leans in, resting his forehead against yours, “I’d really like that.”

You’re smiling too and your gaze flickers between his eyes and mouth, “Yeah?”

“Yeah,” Wooseok reaffirms, but before the syllable has even fully left his lips, you already shut him up with a kiss that tastes a bit like chlorine and a lot like the start of something really good.

“Oh, fucking finally,” he hears Hyunggu mumble from the side of the pool, but he has better things to do than pay him any mind. After all, he finally has you in his arms, no more missed opportunities hanging between the two of you.

so i guess if you really want to know my most faves: lights on and tier 1. as far as the concept goes well...it's a gacha. i am picturing it as an open-world action rpg with an emphasis on storytelling. Yena is acting here as the default mc because she just gets it. you'd have various quests to complete with combat, puzzles and mini-games. the actual gacha part would be outfits and characters (we have to make money somehow sorry), weapons could be switched up as you wish and unlocked through quests.

It wasn’t until a week later that you met the other actors and actresses in the film.

Your manager, Hongseok, had cleared pretty much your entire schedule so the rest of PRISM was out promoting while you were waiting awkwardly at the film studio, straightening out your white skirt and thinking of what to say to Sunghoon.

After all, you did kind of audition for Belift as a joke. You were really into Enhypen and Newjeans, so you sent in your singing and dancing tape thinking you weren’t going to get picked anyway. You did, though.

“Hi, sorry I’m late!” The all too familiar Australian accent pops out of nowhere, and your breathing is 10 times rapid knowing exactly who it belonged to. Pham Hanni from Newjeans.

“No worries!” You say, almost choking on the piece of bread you were taking a bite out of. “Greetings sunbaenim!”

You bow but Hanni shakes her head quickly, “ah.. no need. I read your profile, you’re a year older than me, so if anything, I should be the one saying the formalities.”

You don’t get to say anything else before the Park Sunghoon and Kim Gyuvin walk in.

Oh my God. You internally think. You almost have to hold back from fainting because how the hell are you in the presence of Hanni, Gyuvin, and Sunghoon at the same time?!

“This is our main cast,” the director says, who your manager has told you to refer to as Director Jung. “We have a few more idols but they’ll be in and out between episodes.”

The four of you nod, you suddenly feeling so small when in the same room as your talented sunbaenims.

“Today is just introduction and get to know each other day since I know this was probably brought up upon you guys suddenly and it can seem overwhelming and uncomfortable.” Director Jung smiles, showing off his bright white teeth.

“The drama is a romance one, kind of like an American coming to age except Korean, you know? It’s called Parallel Love. The main character, Baek Yunhee is played by Yoon Y/N as you all know.” He then points towards your direction, making the other 3 idols all turn their attention to you. “Yunhee’s love interest is Min Suho, played by Park Sunghoon. The reason I chose the two of you was because you were exactly how I pictured Yunhee and Suho visually and I feel like you would astound me and the viewers with your acting.”

Your eyes subtly peek at Sunghoon, who looks absolutely glorious despite his messy hair and tired eyes. The engene inside of you screamed, but you masked it by biting the inside of your cheek.

“Now, the main female antagonist is Choi Sanghee, which will be played by Pham Hanni. The main male antagonist is Park Wooseok, played by Kim Gyuvin. Sanghee and Wooseok are somewhat love interests, but they’re also Yunhee and Suho’s biggest rivals.”

The rest of Director Jung’s words went from one of your ear and out another as he kept speaking, your vision instead focused on Park Sunghoon.

“Alright, that’s all I have to say! Any questions?”

There’s a few murmurs but no one says anything, so Director Jung hands the four of you individual scripts that were so thick you could slap a person with it.

“It’s time to take the poster photos so let’s get to work guys. Don’t disappoint me.”

Way to not pressure an idol who’s life is already hectic, you think.

tava batendo papo com um cara que eu conheci quando tinha 5 anos e acabamos nos reencontrando (lê-se voltar a conversar de forma online e sem nenhum contato físico) 3 meses atrás, lembrando que eu não lembro do """"querido"""" e nos vimos pela última vez 19 anos atrás, ou seja, são papos e experiências completamente diferentes.

tudo começou bem, só que o abençoado começou, com uma semana de conversa, a perguntar se eu namorava, se eu já tinha beijado alguém, quantas pessoas eu já beijei e tals...pq pelo olhar dele eu era muito """"fofinha"""" para ser solteira.

eu sempre fui educada, respondendo tudo, no meu limite, e ao mesmo tempo fugindo de MUITO papo que me deixava desconfortável, me chamava de "amor" e "vida"...só que ontem foi o LIMITE.

tudo começou com um vídeo singelo do byeon wooseok que eu postei nos status (lindo meu amor) e ele respondeu perguntando quem era e eu falei o nome do querido e o quanto eu acho a boca dele linda...

que arrependimento

a seguir temos algumas mensagens do """"querido"""", são extremamente desconfortáveis e lembrando, eu NUNCA dei abertura pra esse cara falar esse tipo de coisa comigo, e mais uma coisa, o uso de "kkkkkk" que me irritou profundamente e pode te irritar:

depois disso ele pediu perdão e tals, eu disse que tudo bem (tentando ser o mais educada possível) e ficou por isso.
