#woodland hills for example is a diverse jewish/middle eastern neighborhood but they all click white on the census so it shows up at 90% lol

been in malibu a lot the past couple of weeks and of all the extremely wealthy areas i've been in its actually one of the more charming ones. its much more rural. even though the blocks can be tight its almost always an acre plus of actual land and a lot of people have farm plots although its not uncommon to see people with citrus groves or farm plots in any of these rich areas. the people in malibu seem to be a lot more communal. they're all white of course and like all rich white neighborhoods they're outside walking their dogs and the kids are riding electric dirt bikes everywhere. maybe its the fires but people in malibu talk to you a lot, and they're all blonde seemingly. also there seems to be a city ordinance to plant as many succulents along the streets as possible, a minimum amount of succulents needs to be present. malibu is also maybe the first place were i've seen peacocks in southern california as well as weasels. my favorite place is the trailer park/apartments right next to the beach that reminds me of if every community i've ever lived in but just amazingly nice.
