Working with the babies around isn’t easy! In fact it’s pretty tough, but I wouldn’t go back. When I was teaching I was lucky enough to have my mom watch my girls while I was at work. Even though they were with family, I felt so guilty that they weren’t with me. I had to make a leap to get here. Leaving my “stable” job was scary, but I had to do it. When this article was first released it was so hard for me to read. 🙁 It literally breaks my heart. . This was the path that I was on. Teachers pour their hearts out and take care of America's youth, but we don't get the same in return. . I had to leave. I had to do better for my family. It was such a hard decision, but I'm happy I made it. I started my business and didn't look back. . I tell this story because I know there are other women out there contemplating the same thing. It took a while to get here, but I had to realize that being in a traditional classroom was not for me. I loved my students, but I missed the spontaneity of teaching. . That had been taken away through rules and bureaucracy. So I had to search for the things that made me happy. . So I started a business and eventually left. One of the hardest decisions of my life. . Now I help other women do the same. I help them form their own business and find their passion. . Are you stuck? My best advice is to start to experiment. Try new things. That's the only way you will get to your happy.
