On receiving this meme from a friend I couldn’t help but go a bit reflective and sad. I started looking at the layers in which this post is offensive and reflects the attitude of a man in a male-dominated profession.
Firstly, there is an assumption here that “Hot girls” wouldn’t have advanced enough in their career to earn enough respect to get pinged back. Underlying this is the assumption that “Hot girls” are not smart enough...
Secondly, there is a pride they take in being exclusionary. Especially towards women. They feel quite at ease bringing their frustrations from their dating life into their communications in their professional life.
Thirdly, this meme has no basis in truth. Most women on LinkedIn have been randomly harassed by men or have gotten sexual advances on what is a professional/career oriented site.
Moreover, having faced enough of this, most women feel more comfortable reaching out to other women in organisations or institutes because women lift women up.

•▪︎°Greetings & Salutations°▪︎•
This is a blog about my firey passions, tech & innovation to put it super basic!
Weird Fact:
Growing up, I didn't know anyone *especially girls sadly* that liked tech/coding/graphics/design at all [much less a deep burning firey passion] so when I wrote my first line of code when I was 10 as well as got my first editor [jasc psp8!] I thought I was doing weird shit that most don't do.
SHOCKING PLOT TWIST
I didn't know I was coding, web developing, designing, graphic designing etc until I was 24
Tumblr media
I mean my ignorance probably isn't too shocking - especially for strangers but like how does that happen?!
Sadly I wasn't welcome in tech clubs at my school even in college. I'm a bubbly, loud, charismatic girl who loves to have fun and make friends. So they deemed me a ditz.
I was literally laughed at, teacher ignored my questions, in college I was forced to partner up with a man that wouldn't speak to me [on top of that he may have only known Spanish] he also would make whatever he wanted for each project with no regard to me, his films were the bare minimum if I was lucky, and my teacher wouldn't listen to me
First website I made [dev & design] at 12 was my pride and joy. It was literally a text box in the middle of the page, surrounded by Dollz from dollzmania. <<SENT SITE TO CRUSH & HE SAID "UH WHAT?" MY DRAMATIC ASS DIDNT SHOW ANYONE ANY SITE I MADE UNTIL I WAS 27. THIS LAST YEAR
Long Story Short××
So stoked minorities & women are so much more accepted, that I found out I had a talent that was there all along, believe in yourself & find your community

WIP completed
Isobel "Medusa" Williams"
Age: 31
Facts:
Joined the United States Army at 18 to follow in the footsteps of her infamous Army Ranger father
Wanted to be an Army Ranger but because of her gender (back in the day) was denied.
Opted for becoming an attack helicopter pilot.
Was married to an Army paratrooper, but during a tour in Afghanistan, he was KIA before Isobel could reach them as their close air support.
Has been in two helicopter crashes due to an enemy RPG
Was given the codename Medusa as a replacement for her call sign "Hells Bells" due to her signature glare that is said to have the ability to turn anyone to stone.
Prefers loose, baggy clothing for missions to conceal her gender so her face reveal is that much more shocking.
Her mask is nearly identical to Ghost's, but when he was making it for her, he opted for giving hers a snake jaw in reference to her codename Medusa.

I drew a gif to explain Ruby on Rails’ MVC pattern:
Model = Everything you need to make a coffee. Milk, beans, etc. View = Finished product/cup of coffee. Controller = Barista - takes the order, puts the ingredients together, and gives you your coffee.
There’s a more in depth post about this on my blog :)

How do you keep your coding skills sharp and fresh?🤦‍♀️ Do you want to level up your coding skills?🙋‍♀️ I'd suggest LeetCode which is one of the best places to expand your knowledge and get prepared for your next interview👏 It's always good especially for backend developers👩🏻‍💻 to enhance their programming skills in their free time and master the programming language of your choice🙌 I'm currently on a monthly challenge where I focus on binary tree traversals😎 How does that sound? What data structure and algorithms you are big fan of? Let's code😇 #heartcentrictech #heartcentrictechmentoring #datastructures #datastructuresandalgorithms #datastructure #binarytree #binarytrees #csharp #csharpdotnet #csharpprogramming #csharpdeveloper #csharpcorner #csharpcoding #leetcode #leetcodesolution #leetcodeeasy #happycoding #happycoding😊 #letscode #girlcode #girlcoding #womenintech #womenintechnology #womenincoding https://www.instagram.com/p/CCxkT6ADaUc/?igshid=519qgg5f1clz

We here at @onlycodcanjudgeme want to wish everyone a happy International Women's Day!
There's a lot that can be discussed about the lack of females within the game industry, from a developer/creative end to gamers to fandom creators (and the treatment of those who are), but today, we will set aside those issues and instead, focus all of our attention to celebrate all of the women in our community and their contributions to the Call of Duty Fandom.
Ways to celebrate could include...
Sending an anon message of gratitude
Reblogging a post
Rec'ing fanfiction, fanart, etc.
Sharing something about your favourite female Call of Duty Character (OCs welcome)
Reminder to tag @onlycodcanjudgeme or #womeninCOD so we can share as well!

Rumors have it there’s a Al Qatala and Ultranationalist unit dedicating to kidnapping some of these notable ladies in cohesion with regional allies across the globe. And they’re starting out in their home turf of Urzikstan with the trio of Urzikstan Libertation Front leader Farah Ahmed Karim, her lieutenant in Urzik-Russian fighter Iskra Volkov, and former Shoreline PMC Commander turned Chimera PMC mercenary Nadine Ross.
But now the Las Almas Cartel in Mexico is playing it’s part in this scheme and in their clutches is Venezuelan Special Forces lieutenant Marisol “Mara” Rojas and Italy’s recently famed military police officer Salvatrice “Stiletto” Muselli.
Linked below is so far my 2 part series of crossovers between Call of Duty and Uncharted, set in the Modern Warfare Reboot Universe of the 2010s/early 2020s as we know it. Ross’s Call of Duty was written in 2021 and split into two chapters while Ransom’d Reporter was written in 2022 and unofficially completed 2 weeks ago. They contain geopolitical sensitivity as shown in both 2019 and MW2: 2022 Edition (mentions and references to real life wars and war tragedies since the 1930s), acts of war and terrorism with blood, gore, torture, character deaths, kidnapping, non consensual bondage, groping, spanking, and implied sexual slavery. If this darkness that can hit close to home isn’t for you, DO NOT PROCEED (especially in Ransom’d Reporter). Otherwise, enjoy and also hope you enjoy the manips.
Ps, we’re planning on a AU Fix It of MW22’s campaign that is still crossed over with Uncharted, but trust me it’ll still feel like COD and it’ll fix all the mistakes that 22’s made in scrapping originally planned canon. Take a guess at which Uncharted character will fight on the front lines and no, it isn’t Nathan Drake or Elena Fisher this time.
