"The death of a beautiful woman is unquestionably the most poetical topic in the world," wrote Edgar Allan Poe
According to Poe the most melancholic and poetic event that could happen in life was the death of an ethereal, unnaturally beautiful woman who did nothing but radiate beauty and have eyes brimming with sorrow being diagnosed with a fatal disease, and becoming emaciated, thus leaving her lover heartbroken.
(As seen in his short stories: Berenice, Eleonora, Ligeia, The Oval Portrait)

Take Me Back To Eden-
transcript from the Revolver mag Special Edition
I don't own any of this!
In the cold, slow-moving early days of January 2023, something incredible happened, with
no warning. Sleep Token unleashed a new song upon the world that was, at the time, their
most jaw-dropping offering to date. Chokehold begins omniously with a scratching, grinding buzz and Vessel sings declaratively “When we were made, it was no accident, We were tangled up like branches in a flood”. The soft trill of a piano comes in, the suspense builds and then one of the most dramatic riffs the band have committed to record crashes down. It's just the first twist in a dynamic single full of them.
Chokehold struck a crowd with fans and landed Sleep Token cosigns from some unlikely voices. Lorna Shore, frontman and deathcore YouTube star Will Ramos covered the song and then dissected Vessel's vocal technique with a panel of experts. On the Charismatic Voice YouTube channel. Even Wilder was when American Idol star Chris Daughtry surprised a crowd at London's Royal Albert Hall with a dusky acoustic performance of the single. Yet the most remarkable thing about Chokehold is that, for all the fervor it steered, the song Sleep Token released just 24 hours later had even more profound impact on their career. On January 6th, the day after Chokehold's release, the band dropped a second 2023 single called The Summoning. If Chokehold started a fire, this new song poured kerosene on it. A near 7-minute masterpiece, The Summoning took Sleep Token genre blending approach to new extremes, spanning the divide between death metal-esque savagery and slutty funk. Not only did it work socially, but it somehow made beautiful sense conceptually. The song quickly went viral on TikTok, partly because of the stunning contrast between the styles it plays with and also due to its esoterically charged lyrics. Sleep Token had hinted at lustful thoughts in the past, but The Summoning was easily the most overtly sexual song to date. At this point, over half a decade into their career, Sleep Token were hardly unknowns, and the hype around them had been building in the underground alternative metal scene. But the one true punch of Chokehold into the Summoning sent them skyward.
Sleep Token dominated online conversation, trending on Twitter for days on end, and their streaming numbers shot through the roof. Multiple songs trended on Spotify simultaneously, but it was The Summoning that really took off, rocketing to 15 million plays on the platform in less than two months. As of this writing, it tops 18 million Spotify streams. On January 17th, Sleep Token embarked on a sold-out UK headlining tour, playing some of their biggest venues to date, including the 5,000 capacity Hammersmith Apollo in West London. Befitting the band's grounding audience and the launch of their latest chapter, these rituals were notably scaled up in terms of production. Sleep Token performed amid a stage setup, festooned with plants, and vessels started wearing an elaborate shoulder piece emblazoned with gold to protect him from sleep, for some fans have theorized.
Additionally, the trio of female backing singers from 2022's Room Below Ritual were along for the ride. The three women affectionately nicknamed the Vesselettes in some fan circles, performed in cloaks, their faces covered while they stood eerily stuck still. The tour was made even more special by Sleep Token, debuting two brand new songs during their set, the angsty pop metal exercise Granite and the elegant, chest-infused Aqua Regia. The studio versions were released in the middle of the tour, once again dropping within 24 hours of each other on January 18th and 19th. Respectfully, even before Sleep Token's third album was formally announced, fans understood that this sudden wave of new songs heralded an imminent follow-up to This Place Will Become Your Tomb. After the release of the apocalyptically heavy Vore in the middle of February. That speculation became fact, Take me Back to Eden, was announced for a mid-may release and was set to be the final installment of the band's album trilogy. The group's devotees had already been trying to figure out the record's title from the secret code that had appeared on the band's lead-up graphics. On Take Me Back to Eden, the turbulent hot and cold dynamic between Vessel and Sleep reaches its breaking point. His devotion to and lust for Sleep persists, but Vessel recognizes that he is quite literally in a Chokehold within their relationship, even more so than on the band's previous work. His emotions were conflicted enough on this record. On Granite, Vessel rages against Sleep's uncommunicative behavior, even labeling him aggressive and controlling, while on Aqua Regia, despite the song's undercurrent of desire, he affirms that he is done dancing to alarm bells.
By track 9, Do You Wish That You Loved Me he reaches the firm conclusion that not only is Sleep incapable of returning the love he has craved all along, but perhaps Vessel himself cannot muster the same devotion he seeks from the deity. I cannot hope to give you what I cannot give myself.
By the album's closing track, Euclid, the relationship has finally splintered, leaving Vessel feeling reflective but also anxious to move forward knowing that Ijust need to leave this part of me behind.
Once again, every song to Take Me Back to Eden comes with its own visual identity, but the symbology is Sleep token's most complex and detailed to date.
Each song is represented by its own fantastical character, best described as monsters or demons that are illustrated by Alex Tillbrook in the art booklet that comes with physical copies of the record. Some of the creatures appear in music videos' form as well. Each character looks distinct from the others, but they do share some common features. Many have devil-like horns, and the majority have an unusual number of body parts. The character representing Ascensionism has four arms. The one for Rain has three heads, and the creature for Chokehold has numerous arachnid-like legs.
Meanwhile, the character representing War has arms with two venues, flytrap-like mouths in place of hands, echoing the song's motif of consumption and swallowing, and linking to its title's reference to the fetish voraphilia, the erotic desire to consume or to be consumed by another person or creature. In addition, most of the characters hold at least one weapon, and many wear some form of armour. These accoutrements are possible, reflective of the heightened sense of conflict between Wesley and Sleep throughout the album.
The character representing the summoning, who wears a shoulder piece akin to the one
that Vessel wears on stage, clutches a huge gun, almost as big as the creature itself, while others wield axes and other bladed weapons. In two of its four hands, the floating character in a knight's helmet representing Ascensionism holds a handgun and a three-pronged dagger, like a mini version of Poseidon's trident. There are also a few references to weaponry in the lyrics in Chokehold. Wesley reclaims, I come as a blade, a sacred guardian. When in Aqua Regia,he speaks of a perfect start to a perfect war, putting down the roses, picking up the sword.
One compelling fan theory about these characters is that their sleep previous vessels. Others speculate that they could be a physical manifestation of Vessel's personal demons, or even past versions of Vessel himself. Indeed, there are references to the concept of past lives on the album. In Ascensionism, the line, tell me you met me in past lives, suggests Vessel's and Sleep's toxic bond predates this lifetime, or perhaps that's just what Sleep tells Vessel to create, the illusion that their connection is stronger than it really is. The Apparition reinforces the idea, well I believe somewhere in the past, something was between you and I in my dear. If Sleep and Vessel have been entangled for decades or even centuries across different incarnations, it raises the question of what the weapons are for.
Are they for Vessel to use while defending and protecting Sleep, or tools for him to battle the deity as the toxicity between them worsens? The two song-representing characters who've most intrigued fans correspond to the album's final two tracks, both are quite different compared to their armoured, multi-limbed peers. The figure for the pain-mouthed song Take Me Back to Eden, interestingly Sleep Token's only title track to date, has no face but bears angel wings and a scythe. Their juxtaposed element of an angel and a Grim Reaper evoke themes of death, worship, and immortality. All themes that crop up at the end of the album's story defend consensus as that title track concludes Take Me Back to Eden, while the album's actual closer Euclid wraps up the trilogy overall serving as a sort of epilogue. The character representing that song is a masked figure dressed in a toga-like garment holding Vessel's severed head. What does that ominous image mean about the future of Sleep Token? Some fear it's a signal at the end of the band, while others have wondered if it foreshadows the group re-emerging with a new story and a new look perhaps similar to the way Slipknot changed the mask with each album's cycle, or how Ghost kill-off versions of Papa Emeritus to make way for a successor. At the very least, the figure reflects the song's focus on rebirth throughout the death of the old Vessel proclaims I must be someone now. Musically Take Me Back to Eden is Sleep Token's most ambitious body of work to date.
Its sonic rage is considerably greater than This Place where we come here to folding in sounds and genres. The band hadn't touched before. The extremes are also so much more pronounced.
The summoning and Vore are the heaviest songs of their career so far, while a eerie, almost tropical-sounding deary statue of me is Sleep Token at their poppiest. Meanwhile, the colossal Are You Really Okay feels like Sleep Token's taken a arena-sized ballad, though its lyrics are claustrophobic, dark, and hint at self-harm. Since its corresponding character is holding a baby ( Since its corresponding character is holding a baby and the song mentions Vessel being woken up by a loved one dripping crimson on the carpet, some fans have posited that Are You Really Okay is not about self-harm at all, but rather a miscarriage). The most impressive musical feats on the record, however, are Sleep Token's two longest songs to date. The super-sized pair the 7-minute Ascensionism and 8-minute Plus Take Me Back to Eden unify every aspect of Sleep Token's sound, from delicate piano balladery to crushing heavy metal to bursts of trap-infused R&B (Both notably use autotune to add a disembodied quality to vessel's voice.)
Together, the two pieces feel like a culmination of the band's sonic explorations so far, elevating the music into the heady realm of progressive rock while floating with the long-form movement-based structures of classical music. Even as it marks an incredible step forward for the band, both creatively and commercially it landed at number 16 on the Billboard 200 Take Me Back to Eden and occasionally looks back. It's the most self-referential installment of Sleep Token's trilogy, especially towards its conclusion where the nods to previous songs become most overt in particular lines in the opening verse of Take Me Back to Eden.
I dream of phosphorescence, bleed through spaces, and we drive through crystal waters Perfect oceans can be interpreted with callbacks to sundowning in this place will become your tomb, read prospectively. Later, the titled rap evokes the LP's beginning by echoing the opening lines of Chokehold, creating poeticbookends to the album's narrative. Similarly, the entire trilogy concludes looping around to its start with a section of The Night Does Not Belong to God being revived in Euclid, bringing the story full circle. As for Sleep Token's own story, Euclid's image of a vesseldisembodied hit notwithstanding the band's journey continues. At least for now, Take Me Back to Eden has skyrocketed them to previously unimaginable heights. The latest, this anonymous masked band with their eccentric whip, lashing sound, and dizzying mythology have become bona fide arena headliners. They sold out a breakthrough-year-capping December gig at London's12,500-capacity Wembley Arena within just 10 minutes. We know Sleep Token's story will continue in 2024, too. They already have shows booked, including an April run in Australia, an appearance at Las Vegas' sick New World Festival. We want that. What does the future hold?
Might they scale even higher heights? To sleep, to dream.

hi mr haitch!
i received a lovely response from haitch that has helped me quite a bit in processing and working on my fear of death. however, i saw a post of yours just now and it made me think. it was your response to someone basically arguing about democrats and republicans, and your opinion on the potential impacts of another trump presidency. so i ask, as a fellow non american, how do i not feel so anxious about this? i try to think that no, trump is not going to cause the heat death of the earth, but it freaks me out.
as an australian, i can say that we are quite influenced in america. just the other day, coming back from my university counselling, there were two young women wearing MAGA hats on the train just days after he got in. it infuriated me, though everyone is allowed their own opinion (even if it makes me want to rip my eyeballs out and throw them at them). how do i not think that this is the end of the world? for some it is. i have heard far too many people expose their genuine plans for suicide now that trump is in. someone said they are taking their girlfriend out for one last dinner and they’re committing together. that horrifies me to my core.
in my state, we recently just elected our state premier, which is now a party i would describe as on the right, for an easy comparison. abortions, breast cancer screenings, and thousands of hospital staff are to be cut. children committing crimes will be doing adult time, which i can only imagine you understand just how antithetical that is to actually solving the problem. after this election, there was a nazi rally in our central city. i worry that with trump’s election, it might truly come home to us.
so, how do i not feel so scared?
on a side note, i HAVE to ask your opinions on deathcore? i’m seeing thy art is murder and brand of sacrifice in a few days, and i saw ice nine kills and amity affliction today! i’m seeing lorna shore and to the grave in feb, TTG is a super cool deathcore band from NSW here in aus! even things like suffocation, dying fetus, infant annihilator, or cannibal corpse? (and the terrifier series if you have watched them!)
but yeah, it’s a weird time to be alive, but i want to believe that after this, we will not have to experience it again. perhaps someone will have better aim, we will never know.
this is far too long, so have a good night or day!
As time goes by, I find myself more convinced by Foucault's writings on biopower - and especially when it comes to anxiety.
We need to start thinking about how we're defining anxiety: when we talk about it do we mean the emotion arising, rationally, from a particular stimulus? Or do we mean generalised, non-specific anxiety which arises from a disease or abnormality in the mind? The latter needs treatment - the former needs scrutiny, but also not to be ignored or discarded.
The fear many of us are feeling right now is rational. We feel it for a reason - fear is what keeps you alive in moments of danger. It helps us think and move faster. It helps us see clearer (if we learn to direct and control it). While it can be a hard emotion to sit with, we can't push it away or try to treat it. Use that fear to motivate you to build connections with the people around you, to organise, to strengthen community bonds if the worst happens and you need people to support you.
So the short answer: you don't need to get rid of your fear.
Now for the second part:
I'm really not a fan of deathcore. I know it's the genre of the moment, but it's never really done it for me (and I say this as someone who previously moonlighted for a deathcore band a few years ago). Call it personal taste, but I feel that there's a race to the bottom with regards to guitar tuning: everyone is going lower and lower and you end up with a bass heavy mush with little articulation. Everyone starts slamming the lower strings, more than one breakdown per song, etc.
(very much old man shaking his fist at the eyounger generations)
With that said I'm a big fan of cannibal corpse (although, let's be real, they are very much OG Florida death metal) and quite like Ice Nine Kills. One band I am quite excited about, though, is a UK local act who blend elements of deathcore with black and death metal. Link below:

Casavir Headcanon in the nutshell
(Low res pic, I just want small pic, okay?)
How everyone headcanon (or written) him:
Tumblr media
"My lady." guy
a sorely gentleman (stereotype)
"My lady"
white knight (stereotype)
"m'lady"🥺
dragonborn must be his true love or something like that
"I must maintain my vow😞, though I regret taking it"😢😩
Is actually (secretly) horny. uwu
"My lady?"
also deep bass boosted voice
By "taking a vow" very seriously, it means include he should care about his "celibacy"? Just because he's very religious guy??
cares about your boundaries (positive, actually)
my lady....
Praying the divines / Tyr all day
NO SWEARING IN MY TEMPLE OF THE DIVINES😡
"BISHOP!😨😡 WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?🤬😤🔪🩸🩸"
"M'lady."
traits? what positive traits? (it's nothing of a value, according to them)
Also Casavir: "met many a fine lass on his travels, but none were sufficiently enticing to churn his core" (literally overused sentences in every fanfics they've written in every fandom)
Here's some verbatim for you all to understand: "he met many pretty women, but none of them are pleasurable enough for him like how dragonborn do." (not), it's very lazy writing.
my lady
my lady
m'lday
malady
m'lady
How I headcanon him:
Tumblr media
"It's been 18 years, Bishop. You haven't pay for your crime...and your bills, you've been wasting their ale back from Neverwinter."
old ass
soft ass
sassy ass
goth ass BITCHES
was tired of Bishop's bullshit, but well.. not anymore...
"Knows what he was doing"
but if you ask, he ain't subtle. Well sometimes subtle about it, he'll speak like riddles, just like how you met one of the Stormcock soldier in Sovngarde
remind practical and observant...like how he observed Bishop's behavior and tendencies
Your tired granddad(dy) (ignore this)
is actually introvert nerd
"My lady, I guess..."
"Or my sire, perhaps?"
prefer not to label himself and you do as well respect that
definitely into deathcore
Unironically listening to "I am... All of Me." by Crush 40 from Shadow the Hedgehog ("Hey isn't this for-" SHUT THE FUCK UP)
sure, he doesn't like swearing but he will do it if he feels like it. He's not gonna freak out about it if he hears someone swearing, don't push your luck
he kinda looks like: "Cry all you want while I, as the new gen once called "the Chad", stay stoic as the paladin should do", when he doesn't make any expression that much (he will not say that tho)
His rivalry with Bishop is just as old and boring as your favorite game. Give him a fucking break, he just wants to move on ffs. I don't care about the canon, it's just a fucking game.
He's all in forgiveness, but "never forget for what they've done and hurt you"
He realized he doesn't know who they were fighting over, amnesia perhaps? Or just plain memory loss since he could recall it sometimes but he doesn't know who that is...
has depression, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and terrible anxiety (or generalised anxiety disorder due to his past)
In fact, he IS The Gentleman.
I can go all I wanted to say if I ever wanted to, he deserves better.

Misogyny has always been a problem in a lot of hardcore and metal scenes but there is something about deathcore that combines the worst of both incels and dudebros, for every band that does the bare minimum of treating women like human beings, there’s 5 others who make their entire platform off of slut-shaming and murdering women who won’t sleep with them. And that’s without even getting into the racism and anti-queerness. I hear a pig squeal in a song and I have to frantically google if they’ve ever voiced support for trump.

This will be my intro... ig?
Little about me: I'm fuckin retarded. I failed PE last year. I'm into metal, more specificaly symphonic, metalcore, deathcore, and comic metal. a get attached easily, idk what that says about me. I like to run the extra mile, but half ass it in the most disgusting way. my favourite food is popcorn (come eat some with me, baby). my music genres varies, and so do the sub genres. you may asking why I made a tumblr account, so it was because of my good friend @calsrottencorpse. go blame them
My person traits: believe it or not, I don't have ADHD. people say that they see a lil autism in me, but that's alright! my love language is sharing food, physical touch, and just merely being in the same room as one another
Body traits: I have plenty of hidden scares, mentally and physically, but they show smth. except for these red lines on my back. idk how they got there. help me. I'm 5'10~ with shoes on. don't laugh at me. I like to lean a lot. idk why
I'll add more when I get to it

On the topic of gatekeeping and how social media turns childhood and teenage nostalgia/trauma/interests into memes and trends
This is a hot one. I got into a fight with an ex-friend about this, which was a big thing that led to the death of our friendship. Looking back, I don't blame the guy. I have had my fair share of songs that I used to have on repeat back in high school and got made fun of for listening to. Can You Feel My Heart by Bring Me The Horizon was a big one, now known as a sigma male meme song. Another one is King For A Day by Pierce The Veil. A third one is Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade. Take any emo nostalgia song that you hear being played all over social media, and you have a peek into my high school playlist.
If you're into core music, specifically deathcore, you have To The Hellfire by Lorna Shore, now made a meme by thousands on TikTok, highlighting Will Ramos's pig squeals towards the end of the song. If you're on emo or metal TikTok/Reels in general, you will hear the same nostalgia songs over and over. The same can be said with goth tiktok and any other alternative subculture. Even if you're not part of a specific subculture, there will always be that one song or artist that used to be a huge part of you growing up that has now turned into a trendy internet meme, which is why a lot of people have expressed their frustration on the app about "songs being brought to TikTok and turned into ___" (coquette, sigma, scenecore, big titty goth gf, e-girl, etc.)
I will admit that I have gotten so sick of hearing Pierce the Veil and Bring Me The Horizon on social media that I have stopped listening to them entirely. At the same time, social media has introduced me to new songs and artists - Violent VIRA, La Dispute, Destroy Lonely, Odetari, 6arelyhuman, Crystal Castles, Aphex Twin, Whirr, Lana Del Rey, Cocteau Twins, and Alex G, to name a few.
The same can be said with fashion trends. It's like every year (or every few years), there's a new trend. As of right now, it's Stanley Cups, even though I still have my hydroflasks from university from back when VSCO girls were still in.
I remember the era of TikTok when everyone was a mallgoth, indie kid, or a bunny hat scenecore kid, a.ka. the Brooklyn Bloodpop era - this was the year that introduced me to artists like Jazmin Bean, Sewerslvt, and Crystal Castles. Then I noticed a bunch of lovetheflex drainer girl lookalikes-- this is when I got introduced to artists like Yeat, Bladee, and DestroyLonely. Then, the year after that, I noticed an uptick in people on my FYP dressing in trad-goth attire - this is how I got introduced to post-punk bands like Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Now, I'm seeing a lot of "lainpilled coquette" "grippy sock vacation" "im so silly :3" "femcel" content and "Deftones girls" - this is how I learned about artists like Fiona Apple, Salvia Palth, Radiohead, Deftones, Bôa, and Aphex Twin.
Coquette is the new trend, and it has been associated with pushing harmful agendas like EDs/fat phobia and glorifying mental illness, even linking young women to the alt-right pipeline by pushing trad-wife lifestyles. Keep in mind that a couple of years ago, e-girls were the ones who were previously thought to be the ones who were falling down this pipeline, given YouTube's algorithm of linking gamers to right-wing videos (hello, 2016!). Some people will even liken the coquette or cutecore aesthetic to a more feminine, soft version of being a sigma male or a femcel.
Will finish this probably tomorrow since I'm tired. But this is a huge topic that I have been dying to address.

Jackpot Space Pirate Crew - Lunaliel Alliqui
Tumblr media
#charactersheet Lunaliel Alliqui
☠ Lunaliel refers to “from the moon” : Alliqui refers to the latin word “aliquis/aliqui” which describes a person of importance. A someone, a somebody! A real flex! Alliqui is four years older than his little sister Nemo, for which he cares deeply. He shows his care like most big brothers do. He bullies her in a friendly way, ruffles her hair, throws her across the room or calls her a “mouse” to provoke her. He also is the only person who is allowed to do that! If someone touches Nemo, they’re dead!
🔥 He may be a very good big brother, but he also is a complete jerk, a womaniser, a wanna-be proletarian. According to some, he certainly possesses no more than one brain cell. Despite this, Alliqui was the one who programmed the “personality-disorder” of B.E.N. Afterall, when his little sister were to be angry during his absence, then she had no time to cry ;) One may make out of it whatever they wish to do. But despite having no manners, being flirty, sleeping with an abundance of women, delusionally thinking he is also too cool for this world… Alliqui is a good guy. He will always have his family's back, he is loyal to the core, stupid but determined, silly but someone to depend on. His friends can always fully trust and rely on him. His enemies might not be too lucky to get to know his better qualities.
👾 Alliqui is a fan of rock and metal music, he does love soft underpants and he is completely irresponsible. But he also is the most fun person to be around! Somehow, hanging out with Alliqui always ends up in disastrous adventures.
💀 Alliqui had a huge crush on Lena. The medic of the Crew was not interested at all, since Alli was a jerk! Tough luck! This silly guy also frequently challenged his adoptive father and Capt’n, delusionally thinking he’d stand a chance. He never learned his lesson. However, he was very famous on “Spacegram”. Not for his character, but girls did like his packs.
Tumblr media
Age: 22
Height: 287CM
D.o.B.: 7th. May // Taurus
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Known as: First mate of the Jackpot Space Pirate Crew, best brother but worst example when it comes to showing others some respect, rude jerkbag but funny fella! Loves to brawl, brag, boast and loves dem boobs.
Voice-Claim: // Dawn
youtube
Weapon: Wields a Greatsword one handed, uses his other hand for punching
Fighting-Style: Brawler/Swordsman
Music: Metal-Music, Grindcore, Deathcore and as a guilty pleasure: some Lady Gaga!
Favourite Insult: "TF are you? Moonlubber-McGee?"
Traits
Optimist or pessimist? Way too optimistic
Introvert or extrovert? Extrovert ala Supreme! *gotta take pics of those abs for the girls on moonstagram*
Daredevil or cautious? Daredevil & professional Troublemaker
Logical or emotional? Emotional Brawler, suffers also from the explosive-temper-syndrome. Is easily distracted by bewbs. Has one brain-cell.
Disorderly and messy or methodical and neat? Ordered Mess?! Order inside the chaos. Somehow the "system" works. It's a mystery.
Prefers working or relaxing? Relaxing, Training
Confident or unsure of himself/herself? Delusionally confident
Animal lover? Yepp! Has a soft spot for tiny kittens and tiny cute animals, sleeps with a teddybear.
The Brawler-Class Lunarian: These types of Lunarians are most common on the moon. King-Classes are known to be basically extinct. At the time of the Jackpots there were only 13 Lunarians left in total. That was their entire population! Two of those Lunarians were of the King-Class, everyone else was a B-Class and Nemo was the only C-Class who had been born in ages. B-Classes lost their wings. They can no longer fly and they are not as huge as the A-Class. They often stand somewhere between 2.5 - 4 metres. They can conjure their own fire and use it in combat; they're also known to have slightly hotter flames than the A-Class.
Tumblr media
To his persona: He is either the best brother you could ever ask for, or he is the biggest jerk in the entire solar system. There is no in between! If you dare to hurt his family or friends (or even worse, you dare to touch or hurt his kid sister) he will snap as massively as one could possibly snap. Literally! Once some dude flirted with Nemo and Alliqui punched that guy halfway around the entire moon, before putting his head into the next toilet bowl and making him choke on shit! Afterall... Alliqui is the only one who is allowed to bully his sister! Or annoy her... JUST DON'T TOUCH HER!
Alliqui is also a huge womaniser who has a big crush on the crew's nurse, Lena. (She isn't interested because he is behaving like an idiot, asking her if he could touch her boobies! IDIOT!) He enjoys pranks and loves to prank others. He is brawling, bragging and enjoys to challenge his Capt'n to fist fights. If you have seen the series "Jackass" you can imagine what Alliqui did all day long together with the others. Stunts, silly things, idiotic things and nothing but nonsense for the sole purpouse of shits and giggles.
"When Nemo was born, our beloved mother died and our father turned into a monster. He had been ill for a long time, taken over by something we only call "the madness". A rare disease which sorely seems to be contagious for the King (A) - Class Lunarians. As the illness went on and our mother died, the madness took him over fully and turned this man into a demon. He hated Nemo. That's why he dubbed her "No one". In his twisted mind it was her fault that mother died giving birth to her, but I saw things differently. I loved my little sister from the very start and I thought that I've gotta protect her no matter what.
Father tried to kill my little sister on many occasions and I always stood between him and her. I took the punches. I took the rage. I took all the pain so I could make sure that Nemo wouldn't be harmed. I was awake every single night, every single day. I didn't sleep and made sure that my eyes were always on her. But when Nemo was a few months old, still being an infant, she suddenly began to speak her first words. I will always remember what she said when she was pointing at a book about quantum physics, which also was the first word she has ever said. Shortly after she began to read, then calculate, and then she walked and broke her first physical law. She began to screw around, braze metal scraps, build things and I began to realise what extreme intelligence she was gifted with. THIS WAS INSANE! There was no way anyone could ever comprehend this and despite me being aware of the fact that the extremely rare C-Class mutation is gifted with incredible wit, this was way beyond anything anyone could've imagined.
I knew she was special! I just knew it and when I closed my eyes, I saw her guiding us to a better future!

When I was seven, father had his last strike on her. That fateful night I fell asleep, despite trying to keep awake for years and when I woke up, I heard her cries and screams, begging father for mercy. I can't remember precisely what happened. I snapped and all I saw was black. There is this huge gap in my memory, but eventually this outburst turned into murder. I killed our father... I killed this man... and I don't know if I can ever forget what I've done. To protect Nemo, I told her that father abandoned us and grabbed himself a pack of smokes from the asteroid-belt. I told her that from now on, it'll be only her and I...
Shortly after we left home and wandered the streets of Fairy Vearth, we met my idol sitting in a bar, punching people who dared to tell him that he wasn't cool. Man! That was Capt'n Zekka!! The coolest man in all of the universe and the biggest badass I've ever heard of! I was erratic, going bonkers! My Idol! He just sat there and only looking at him was like looking at a real life superhero...
And when he suddenly talked to us? Dude! That was like a dream come true!
He asked where our parents were and I didn't know how to answer that question really. So, I lied. Telling him that they both went on a venture to the Blue World. Zekka knew that this wasn't true. He recognised me, but he didn't tell me. Our father, Sev, used to be a friend of Zekka and as I later found out, Sev had been dealing with mental decay for a long time.
When I finally told Zekka what really happened, he hugged me. It was the first time anyone, ever, besides my little sister... gave me a goddamn hug.
That this day would be a big turn-around for us was something I couldn't have dreamed of. Zekka adopted us! We now had the coolest, strongest and most badass of all Fathers in the entire universe and if that isn't the best thing ever, I don't know what is!!!
Zekka himself also quickly realised how smart Nemo was and when he saw what that little Mouse could do, his vision of the future changed quickly. She is it! She is the one who will be guiding us to the future! Who will advance our civilisation! And today? Today - The Jackpot Space Pirate Crew is the strongest and most successful Crew on the Moon. This is not because of our Capt'n. It's because of her. Because of my little sister and I couldn't be any prouder! She built our weapons, our security systems, our ship, our camp, our electrical chargers and everything we needed to become truly successful on the harsh, dire and dusty surface of the moon."
