Hey! I saw someone here mention Meatcanyon. As his sole compositor of 4+ years and as someone that has also worked at Spindlehorse I just wanted to say:

Meatcanyon is the best boss I ever had. He is humble and kind and treats everyone that works with him with utmost respect. I’ve worked at a LOT of indie and industry places, and Meatcanyon takes the cake by far. I always found it interesting that even tho his content is so horrific, he has always been the nicest and most respectful person. I love Hunter. He’s a beacon of light in the indie world. PS my experience at Spindlehorse sucked. I’m legally not allowed to say anything. But what I can and will say is, I’m so so so so so lucky to work for Meatcanyon. Please support his work. He deserves it! ❤️

That's awesome! It sort of reminds me of how Junji Ito is the body horror king, but he's a silly little dude who loves cats...likewise, the guy who makes some of the most nightmarish sleep paralysis stuff you'll find in indie animation is a wonderful guy and one of the nicest bosses around.

hi new followers

HI NEW PEOPLE!! I don't think I've ever made an introduction post before. Thank you to all the new people who have reached out and followed and stuff. My name is Wolly and I'm an occultist that makes cartoons. I just finished writing eight episodes of a toon I'm working on called DEEPSTATES with the help of Michael and Dave. I only recently found my footing with the storyboards because that's a part of the process I have the least experience with. I do mostly compositing and animation production so I haven't had as much practice with some parts of the process. It's been a lot of fun finding my flow.
