--- The theater room was buzzing with anticipation as members of the Drama Club rehearsed for the upcoming play. The air smelled of old costumes and the faint scent of candles used for the stage lighting. The heavy curtains swayed slightly in the breeze, and the spotlight cast long shadows on the stage. Legoshi, as usual, was by the lighting board, adjusting the lights and making sure the timing was perfect. His towering frame was hard to miss, his usual quiet energy evident in his focus.

Beside him, you—his small but spirited feral fox girlfriend—was on the stage, waiting for the casting list to be announced. You had joined the club to pursue acting, something you had a natural flair for, and today you were nervous, excited, and full of hope. You had always been smaller than most of the other animals in the club, but you didn’t let it stop you from chasing your dreams of being on stage.

The director called everyone’s attention, standing in front of the group with a clipboard in hand. “Alright, everyone, the roles for our play have been decided,” he said, his voice authoritative but not unkind.

Legoshi’s eyes flickered briefly toward you, noticing the way you stood a little straighter, hoping to hear your name called for a meaningful role. He couldn’t help but feel proud of how much effort you had put into your acting, how you had always been so passionate about it.

“Now, let’s see who gets what,” the director continued, and he began reading off the list of names, assigning roles.

Your heart pounded in your chest as you listened closely, hoping to hear your name tied to a larger, more significant character. But when the director finally got to your name, you felt a cold rush of disappointment.

“(Y/N), you’ll be playing the role of the servant. Your character is smaller, so you’ll fit in the background better. You’ll be a subtle presence, helping to set the tone for the story as it unfolds.”

You froze, your tail flicking behind you in quiet agitation. A servant? A background role? You had worked so hard, practicing your lines and perfecting your delivery, only to end up with something you felt was beneath you. You kept your face neutral, but your heart sank. You were so much more than this.

The rehearsal continued, and you moved through the motions mechanically, the joy you had felt before vanishing into thin air. You tried not to show how upset you were, but deep down, it was hard to ignore the sting of disappointment. As you rehearsed your part, you could barely focus, your thoughts swirling with frustration.

Legoshi, busy with adjusting the lighting, noticed you right away. Even though he was focused on his job, his eyes couldn’t help but be drawn to you. He saw the way your movements were slower than usual, the way your tail drooped slightly, the way your posture was more defeated than he’d ever seen it.

He knew you. He knew when something was wrong.

After a few more moments, he could no longer concentrate on the lights. He needed to check on you. His large frame made his movements slow, but he didn’t hesitate. He walked over to you as you stood by yourself, still practicing your lines, your eyes focused on the floor. The others were chatting excitedly, but you remained silent, lost in your thoughts.

“(Y/N),” Legoshi’s deep voice broke the quiet. He was standing right in front of you now, looking down at you with gentle concern. He had always been able to read your emotions, even when you tried to hide them.

You looked up at him, giving him a forced smile, one that didn’t quite reach your eyes. “I’m fine,” you said, trying to brush off the feeling that had taken root deep in your chest. But Legoshi could tell.

“No, you’re not.” His voice was soft but insistent. “I can tell something’s wrong. You’re acting different. Are you upset about the role?”

You hesitated, not wanting to admit it, but then you nodded. “I don’t understand. I worked so hard for this, and I thought I could do more than just be in the background. I thought maybe I could finally show them what I can do, but… instead, I’m just a servant, out of the spotlight.”

Legoshi’s heart twisted at the way your tail drooped and your shoulders slumped. He could tell you were hurt, even if you tried to mask it. It stung him to see you like this, especially since he knew how much acting meant to you.

He didn’t want to say the wrong thing, but he couldn’t stand seeing you so defeated. Without thinking, he moved closer, his body towering over yours, and then, gently, he knelt down so that you were at eye level. It wasn’t easy for him to kneel down—his height made it awkward—but he did it because he wanted to be closer to you, to offer you comfort in a way that felt right.

His deep brown eyes looked into yours, soft and understanding. “(Y/N), you’re not just a servant. You’re so much more than that. I know you’ve got so much talent, and I believe in you. You’re the most amazing actress I’ve ever seen. You’ll shine, even if it’s in the background. I promise you.”

You swallowed, trying to fight back the tears that threatened to spill. The warmth in Legoshi’s gaze and his words touched something deep inside you, something you had been trying to ignore. He saw you, even when the world didn’t.

“You really think so?” you whispered, your voice barely audible.

“I know so.” He smiled softly, his ears flicking slightly in his own form of reassurance. “You’re not invisible to me. And you’ll never be invisible to me, no matter what role they give you. And if anyone says you’re not good enough, I’ll be right here, reminding you of who you are.”

You looked up at him, your heart swelling with gratitude. His words were more than just reassurance; they were a lifeline, something you needed more than you realized. The weight in your chest started to lift, and a small, genuine smile appeared on your lips.

“Thanks, Legoshi,” you said, your voice steadying as you met his gaze. “I needed to hear that.”

Legoshi, still kneeling before you, gently reached out and took your hand in his. His large, warm hand engulfed yours, offering comfort without saying a word. For a moment, everything felt calm, and the weight of disappointment no longer felt so heavy.

“You’re going to be amazing, (Y/N),” he said, standing up slowly, his hands still holding yours. “And no matter what, I’ll always be here for you. You’re not just a servant. You’re the star of your own story, and I’m going to watch you shine.”

And with that, you knew, no matter what role you were given, you would always have someone by your side who believed in you, who saw you for everything you were capable of, and that made all the difference.

What are your thoughts on Wolf x Fox?

"Wolf?" Fox murmured. "Well, I reckon Wolf's a decent bloke, you know. Sure, he likes to play the tough guy, but I've seen sides of him, both good and not so good, if you catch my drift."

Fox enjoys Wolf's company, at least when they manage to maintain civility between them. Wolf has a knack for being somewhat flirtatious whenever they happen to cross paths on Venom (not exactly Fox's usual haunt). Usually, Fox can detect the faint scent of alcohol on his breath during these encounters. Despite that, Fox remains grateful for Wolf's heroic actions in saving him during the Aparoid threat on Corneria, even though Wolf admitted he had initially wanted to "finish him off" himself.

"I suppose Wolf holds a 'special place' in my heart as both a rival and a friend," Fox remarked casually. "As I said, I've seen him at his best, and that's when he really impresses me. I almost pity him in a way. But don't expect me to go out of my way for him." Though Fox's statement might have sounded like a bit of a stretch, the truth was, he'd likely extend a helping hand to Wolf if the situation demanded it. However, he knew better than to let his guard down completely. After all, old habits die hard.

Mun Thoughts.

In hindsight, I really love the idea of 'Wolf x Fox'. It's a personal favorite ship of mine. Fox on the other hand, is a very guarded individual. I would imagine their relationship to be a bit confusing to the masses (which is why I think they make for such a glorious ship). I imagine that as time moves on, Wolf sorta settles on the fact that Fox had every opportunity to end him, but choose not to. Clearly, there is a reason? For me, I believe that reason to be Fox see's something in Wolf that no one else can see. As cliché as it sounds, That is something he has a knack for. Fox is very observant. I think what makes this such a good ship is their backstories. They intertwine almost seamlessly, and that 'kinda' makes it easier to just pair the two. While I don't have this fleshed out 'headcanon' on why? or how? They are a total fertile ground for exploration and development in any fan-fict/ship. So the possibilities are endless.

I imagine if they were together, Wolf would definitely be the grumpy/over protective one. Clearly, Fox cares about Wolf and doesn't want anything bad to happen to him.

Their love story is anything but ordinary, and that's what makes it SOOO compelling to me!

The half-fox had recently been captured due to the multiple thefts he had committed recently. His wrists were tied behind his back and, in some strange form of humiliation, was completely naked.

I love Viktor yet I can still call him out on how awful and cruel his actions were when he was taking people’s souls to turn them into robots as a plan to execute his "The Final Glorious Evolution" to cope with his imperfections as a sickly, crippled man.

So it’s very odd how defensive certain JayVik shippers get when they get called out for their hypocrisy and refusal to hold him or Jayce accountable for the things they have both said and done BUT have a grudge and hatred towards Mel for being “manipulative” as if that’s the WORST fucking thing that ever happened in Arcane but that’s how ✨MISOGYNY AND RACISM ✨ unfortunately goes in fandoms when it comes to shipping 🙄

Arcane fans especially female identifying ones have a lot of internalized sexism and double standards. They love to see to coddle WHITE MALE characters when they make awful, shitty decisions / mistakes and allow them to have flaws then froth at the mouth when GOD FORBID when black female characters in high positions of power are doing the same thing 😒

Wolf walks to Fox with open arms and goes in and holds him close. He leans into Wolf and lets out a dreamy sigh. He puts his head against Fox shoulder and leans on in. They stay like this for a while. Just when it all seemed like they would never let each other go, Wolf moves his head up and whispers in Fox's ear: "...I'm kidding. I do have a knife in my back pocket." and he presses his nose against Fox's cheek.

Fox's initial tension melted away as he cautiously leaned into Wolf's embrace, allowing himself to relax into the unexpected comfort of the moment. He could feel the immense body heat of the large canine radiate off of him as he wrapped his arms around him. The sensation of his enemy (and friend) hugging him like this was quite unusual, but Fox wasn't going to deny or retreat away from him. There was something strangely reassuring about the closeness, a moment of unity amidst their rivalry.

Fox slowly began to let his guard down, savoring the rare moment of peace, but Wolf's whispered words sent a shiver down his spine. His pointy ear twitched slightly at the sensation of Wolf's hot breath against it as his eyes widened in surprise, a mixture of uncertainty and amusement dancing in their emerald depths. It was moments like these that reminded Fox of the unpredictable nature of their relationship. Despite the uncertainty, there was a strange comfort in knowing that even amidst their rivalry, moments of unexpected connection were still possible.

"Tch, you never change, do you, Wolf?" Fox chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. Slowly pulling away from Wolf's embrace, he took a step back, his gaze scanning the canine up and down for a moment. "Can I ask what you're doing here on Corneria?" Fox's voice was soft-spoken, belying his genuine curiosity. It wasn't like Wolf to be here without causing mischief, and Fox couldn't help but wonder what had brought him to this part of Lylat.

Well... I officially present to you the Wolf King Hirron and Azulion (Chaos fox) the main antagonists of my story "Golden Ice" Ice cold wolfking without a heart and his crazy and laughing fox who doesn't want to leave him alone! And! with my two idiots I'm planning an original comic (and maybe animatic?) in the near future and it will definitely be very NSFW!

What do you think about them?

King Hirron is a powerful king of the primeval lands of wolves far beyond the sea. He is an analytical, cruel, cold as ice ruler without a heart. The only thing that matters to him is power and politics. To achieve his own goals he is willing to do anything, even sacrifice his own children. He has three wives, although as I have already mentioned this man does not know how to love and marriages were for political purposes and procreation. You could say that his life was peaceful, harmonious and orderly until... Azulion entered it! That's right...

Azulion! It's quite literally pure Chaos! (Really literally because it's the personification of primordial chaos). Half fox, half wolf who appeared in Hirron's life suddenly, like a storm and... wouldn't leave! For a very long time no one knew WHAT this creature was. One thing was for sure, it was impossible to get rid of! He was worse to exterminate than cockroaches! He appeared at the least expected moments and disappeared just as quickly! But over time, willingly or not, the mighty wolf king had to accept the mischievous fox in his life. Unfortunately for Hirron, Azulion has a very warped sense of humor that can be wildly inappropriate!

What is Azulion like? It's a complicated matter. He has many faces but everyone always sees him with a smile on his face, a slightly crazy and dangerous smile. However... he can give Hirron a very specific benefit... he saves his life every time the wolf king is in trouble. No one knows how he does it but no matter how badly the white wolf is injured, Azulion always manages to save him. Ironically, the most insane and chaotic person in the world fell in love with a man who had no heart.
