So, last night I was smacked with thoughts of a different sort of Legend of Zelda inspired AU. With the idea of something happening and Katie’s dad and older brother going missing, so she goes off to find them on her own. But it doesn’t go well and she ends up in a wolf form. Years later, she’s still a wolf and she’s friends with swordsman Keith, a young man looking for Shiro, his close friend, brother-like figure, and a man who went missing on the same task that Katie’s family vanished on. He ends up befriending the wolf, calling her Pidge, and the two become friends, searching the areas for any clues together.  Of course, they can’t search day in and day out. They need to do tasks to earn money and even relax. And some days, Keith finds playing an ocarina to be relaxing; even Pidge isn’t complaining. 

Now, I know I’ve worked with Pidge as a wolf before. And while I could’ve gone with that design again, I didn’t. And I had tried another version where her fur matched her hair as a human. However, it didn’t look right. Then I took note of Link’s wolf form in Twilight Princess (which is what caused the inspo), how Link is blonde but his wolf form is not.  So. There we have it.  But, this was the other version.

some more spitballing about that AU but in a new post since that one was getting kind of long:

From Coran, Allura figures out that it may be possible to get someone's memory of the previous reality to return by having them come in contact with a specific trigger. For Coran, it was his control panel on the Castle of Lions.

Which means... she just has to figure out what each paladin's trigger is. Clearly it is not their lions. Keith is proof enough of that. But maybe she can even use it to disrupt Honerva's brainwashing.

Speaking of Keith, it is... deeply weird to see him as an Altean. But also fortunate, because it seems he has a spark of alchemical talent! Which means they can move the Castle of Lions, as soon as they get it in order.

Keith and Romelle are just confused. Why do these two- what did they call themselves again? Humans? Know so much about this ancient Altean ship?

Allura only sort of lies. She tells them she has memories from a past life, as does Coran. Technically very true! She has lived nineteen years as a human. It does make her life as an Altean princess feel a bit like a 'past life'.

Keith's a little wary, but Kosmo seems to trust them, so he decides to trust them both.

local half-Galra turned local Altean born with a lingering sense of something being off, but unable to determine what. He grows up wary and naturally suspicious. except for Romelle. he trusts Romelle implicitly.

(ironically, it was this same wariness that prompted him to never be around whenever Honerva visited. he was under her nose the entire time, and she never knew)

Keith and Romelle out on their own in the universe. What will they do? (acquire a cosmic wolf, an ancient Altean superweapon, and stumble upon an ancient Altean castle. they're keeping themselves busy.)

Pidge is Olkari and Hunk is Balmeran. These are obvious. If we had confirmation that the merpeople could get legs, I would make Lance one of them, but we don't so I feel like he's Puigian? I think Shiro's just Galra again. He gets to be fuzzy this time.

Coran gets to speedrun the sense of strangeness that Allura has lived with all her life, of being one thing and then suddenly another. It's fun!

(Allura overhears Keith and Romelle whispering to each other about their 'weird ears'. oh. now she knows how Lance felt.)

Allura is going to have to somehow teach Keith at least the fundamentals of Altean alchemy without being able to do it herself. That... shouldn't be hard, right?

Their luck runs out eventually, and Honerva becomes aware that the Castle of Lions is active again. And onboard is a human girl who resembles Princess Allura far too closely for her comfort...

My Fandom TikTok promo and ramble

I’m not just going to be posting Voltron and Avatar related things over on the TikTok that I’ve made for this blog since there’s going to be Teen Wolf content! I haven’t posted about Teen Wolf in what seems to be forever I don’t recall if I have deleted the posts that I made for it but yeah that’s the update I have for you this morning. It’s about 8 am and I just got up so don’t mind me rambling on first thing.

You can also search for my page on there unless of my congress deletes TikTok which a lot of people are against which rightfully so, it connects people better imho unlike Facebook or Instagram. Instagram has gotten weirdly toxic so I shy away from there. I haven’t posted anything relating this type of content over there, but I might settle over there if they do in fact delete TikTok from the app store, etc.

So the two types of posts you’ll see on there is weather-like aesthetics for the Voltron characters as for the Teen Wolf characters you’ll see College AU videos. The collections shown above are public so you will see them like I would! Er… that’s it for now? Idk but catch ya later 🪐

Author Note: This is pre-canon, where the Blades are raising Keith and Pidge at headquarters, and the two are best friends with Regris, who is just a bit older than Keith. In this AU, Keith is five, and Pidge is two. This is also Thulaz.

"Cosmo"

The Blades, specifically the five highest ranking ones, were wrapped around the tiny fingers of their three kits. It was natural for Krolia to be partial to Keith and Pidge, but when the pack brought Regris into their pack, Krolia adopted him as one of her kits as well.

Keith's fifth birthday was approaching, and Krolia took him on a trip to Earth. The duo had returned with a small wolf pup in tow. It turned out to be a cosmic wolf pup that had bonded with Keith, and now, the two were inseparable. Wherever Keith was, the wolf was too, even in the nest.

Kolivan, Antok, Thace, and Ulaz truly didn't mind the inclusion of the wolf into their pack. He was a member of their pack as much as Keith, Regris, and Pidge were. Speaking of the baby, she was two and completely curious about everything, including the wolf pup, who grew quickly and was soon big enough for all three kits to nap against him at the same time.

The wolf was given the name Cosmo and had wormed his way into everyone's hearts. Keith had taken to even riding him in the smaller training hall. However, what warmed everyone's hearts was his interactions with the smallest kit. Thace and Ulaz were initially worried about their baby, but both kit and wolf showed them they had nothing to worry about. Cosmo was extremely gentle with Pidge, no matter what the kit did.

It was even cute when the kits and wolf played with each other. It was during one of these times, when Thace was watching them, that they discovered that the wolf could teleport, which surprised him. Thace had panicked over losing Krolia's beloved kits and didn't want to be the one to tell her. He made calls to the other members of the pack (minus Krolia) to see if they knew where Keith and Pidge (and Cosmo) were. Fortunately, Kolivan told him that the three were safe. Kolivan had been startled when Keith, Pidge, and the wolf had appeared in his office, ending up in the nest he kept in his office for his pack members.

It was even more shocking when Krolia encouraged Cosmo to turn it into a game. She would actually tell the wolf to teleport Keith, Regris, and/or Pidge somewhere, and she would seek them out. Of course, there were places that were off limits like the hangar and any ships that were there, but that still left a large section of headquarters to search, which was the reason why mother and kits (and wolf) were napping in the familial nest before the evening meal.

However, when Ulaz and Thace checked in on the group, they could not see their baby. They started to panic before they saw something adorable. Pidge was curled up on top of Cosmo, nestled in the blue fur, asleep.

Why did this take me so long to decide to finish? I STARTED IT IN JUNE OF 2023! But, I finally finished it. Technopathic Katie in an old Arusian ship (Crossed Signals) and going in when she sees things. What's she seeing? The past. Like she did in that one episode on Olkarion in season 8. Gods, i wish we had more of that. And. Pidge and Hunk don't know what the hell is going on with her, why she's in the ship, or why her eyes are glowing this time while she's spaced out. Don't worry, guys, I think she'll tell you after this one.

Kosmo have a good instinct, like any wild animal (even tho he's now a domestic wolf...)

He has been through the quantum abyss with Keith and grew closer to him. I think that combined to the instinct would make him the right person to know who Keith would choose as a "mate" (using the word "mate" because Kosmo might see it that way...)

Plus, in the quantum abys, Kosmo might have seen things as well as Keith and Krolia (i already made a theory about this! Go check it outttt!!!!!)

Maybe he saw Pidge in Keith's future? Or maybe in his own future ever since he's "Keith's wolf"...

So that could explain WHY Kosmo has been protective towards Pidgey...

He's curious... It's the first time that he meets the girl that he saw in these "future visions"/ he felt something special between Keith and that girl//// he smelled him on her????? Idk. One of those. (Could be smelling the mice too... But he seems to stare at Pidge (i zoomed)🤔)

TOO MUCH TO SAY! OKOK...

Kosmo is smart. He moved everyone in a lion that he instinctively knew they would belong better (let's not mention how Lance grouped everyone...) then, he teleported to Pidge. WHY? He belongs with Keith! So why would he go back to Pidge ??? Plus, he barely know her...

My theory is that he understood that his owner was trusting Pidge a lot, that they have a profound bond and that Keith admires Pidge very much.

I didn't even mention the fact that he protected her TWICE. By stabilizing her with his head. AND THEN THAT LOOK THEY SHARED IT WAS SO CUTE..... It was like a mutual "are you ok?.."

And then by destroying the galra ships that were following them...

Best part is that Kosmo could have totally went with Lance, Lance was in danger too. But he decided to go with Pidge.
