you put that in words so well. i find it fascinating that often people can be exposed to the exact same situation or content and have entirely different takeaways. i think a lot about how it seems that the mix of experiences people choose to learn from or internalize -- or that they unconsciously learn from or internalize -- are what make them unique.

Okay I just discovered you PL twisted Fates AU and I'm in love. I don't know if you've already answered this, but do you think the events of Eternal Diva changed with Desconte masterminding the whole thing? I'd imagine Hersh was a bit more brute force with his solutions than Layton was, but that's my opinion.

Yea @wokycookie2, true ngl he looks like a villian, let’s just say that the beast is a little more convincing about the oil.

The woodsman knows he running out of wood, he has to get more wood for the lantern. He needs the children, give him the children!!!!!!!

Anyways let’s pretend that Wirt and Greg don’t know, the woodsman says he “will help them turn back if he brings them a child to help him get more oil for his lamp” which is very misleading.

And if we stay on the story line of Greg sacrificing himself. He offers to be the child, which also fits with what Beatrice had done with Adelaide!! Which is of course after they meet and everything.

I’m gonna say Wirt gets worried that maybe the woodsman won’t be able to help Beatrice?! So he convinces Beatrice not to go… and somehow then Greg goes to be the child… I haven’t figured it all out yet

So like what if Beatrice fell in after running from an old lady who was chasing her after she threw a rock at a bird, and she ends up in the woods

And she meets some residents, Wirt and Greg, who’ve been turned into a rock and gnome respectively after walking into a witches circle.

Greg is convinced he’s been turned into an elephant.

Anyways… I just wanted to try reversing their roles ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ
