thoughts on marcille being a twilight sparkle kinnie?

NOW THIS. NOW WE'RE TALKING. i am of the opinion that theyre not that similar in terms of character but marcille would absolutely identify with twilight on the grounds of their shared fascination with magic,,, but on that note it would be very interesting to explore how she feels about starlight as well! i feel like post-redemption starlight is a liiiitle bit more similar to marcille specifically? in that she already has knowledge of all the less than traditional kinds of magic but doesnt use them for "evil" anymore and theyre just kind of. part of her life now. on the other hand, we know that twilight is a bit over-reliable on her magic and many everyday activities are challenging for her without it (eg winter wrap up) which is similar to marcille's response to most problems being magic.

to sum up, i do believe marcille could kin twilight! i dont think they are exact reflections of each other, but i believe she could find comfort in how they both treat magic and identify with twilight's never-ending aspiration to become the best magic user she can possibly be

You should actually read rick riordian's statement lmao, it's literally just 'i think this is bad and that civilians never deserve to die', i have no idea how anyone could consider that to be zionist

the post reads:

what he is called out for in this case is not using his platform to condemn israel and call for ceasefire. instead, he vaguely talks in cliches about peace. as a person with such a large following, its not enough to just say war is bad. being vague and neutral only goes to support zionism, no matter how it was intended. its not about Rick Riordan being a zionist, its about him being insensitive, vague and refusing to listen to those who point out his mistakes to him

also here's a fun quote from Rick's statement:

"This means security and support for Israel, yes. It also means a secure Palestine which is allowed to get the international aid and recognition it needs to build a viable state."

where he contradicts himself quite badly. Palestinian land was stolen to found the state of israel. "support for israel" would directly undermine any and all efforts to free Palestine

So what's the deal with the multiple doctors? Does he pick a vessel or something? Is it like possession? Or is it just a form he takes.

when he is on verge of death (from being fatally wounded/injured usually) he has a chance to regenerate, assisted by his tardis (thats what the time machine slash spaceship is called)! when that happens, the previous version of him functionally dies and the new regeneration is mostly like a whole new person, but with all memories and some core character traits still intact. the modern dr who show starts with the 9th doctor!

sorry I was going through tags on the ‘bask in your achievement post’ and since you said genuine question I figured I’d answer! For myself, I force myself to manual bask if I’m not feeling the emotions automatically; I call it Pavlov-ing myself. My best example is cleaning, I don’t have any natural joy from cleaning but when I finish I will stand there and notice what’s better about my space individually and tell myself I’m glad i did that, over time I’ve found the feeling accomplished emotions come more naturally once you’ve done manual enough to rewire the reward centers.

Hey Will. Could you explain Doctor Who to me? I am very confused about what its supposed to be and while I could just google it it'd be nicer to hear it from you

boy where do i even start! its a REALLY old sci-fi tv show that started back in 1963 and then kinda started a new era as a functionally new series in 2003? although i have not yet watched classic dr who so i dont know all the details!! what im watching right now is the show that started in 2003 and is still going, although if im not mistaken theyll be entering a new era once the 15th doctor's seasons start airing? but i havent quite gotten there so idk

now with what you did not ask for out of the way! its a sci-fi show with a dash of mystery and occasional horror! it follows sort of a monster of the week format with many recurring characters and is about this immortal alien guy (the doctor) who travels in a time machine slash spaceship that looks like an old-timey police box and is bigger on the inside! he is the last of his kind (or is he?!?!?!?! 🤨) and he travels around time and space to enjoy views and save planets and occasionally picks up companions who travel with him and keep him grounded but eventually has to drop them off back home because he doesnt want to watch them die </3 he is very old and very lonely and is haunted by his past and he allegedly solves conflicts with minimal violence although the show isnt particularly good about upholding that standard LOL!!! although sometimes that is on purpose

this show can be your devil or your angle as it tackles a lot of complex topics and often fails to deliver a proper perspective on them unfortunately but its a lot of fun and very heartfelt at times :-]

do u remember that part in gomens1 when the narrator was like crowley has a great imagination and right now hes imagining his car isnt on fire and rapidly falling apart but is fully functional and capable of getting to his destination 🥰 and i took that to heart FKBFBD first i was sick on a bus and just for funsies i thought but what if i imagine im not sick at all. and also driving a car that isnt on fire. and the thing is it WORKED. and then the other day i was very sad looking in the mirror and i thought maybe if i imagine i look masc as hell, ill actually believe it haha! and then i did. so basically the moral of this story fake it till you make it because the brain is the most powerful part of the human body and you can do Anything basically. trust me

I think the first time I've seen Dr. Who was 2009 when we moved to the new apartment, and I watched pretty much whenever it was on. I still very much adore Donna as the companion.
