Art request! Could we see more of the au of descendants? Exactly more of the relationship of Martin and Chris (I find it interesting how the story between them would be taking into account their roles in the au)

In the Disney Descendants universe, Mal is the daughter of Hades and Maleficent, who use green and blue magic, so I thought I’d play with that color coding and apply it to the bros :)

Martin got the godly genes, and Chris was blessed with chaotic ass fae genes

Like their parents, they don’t get along great.

Martin is the classic example of an asshole big brother, and Chris is feral, angry little fucker trying to prove himself as a villain. Very rarely are they well behaved when in the same room together, when Martin antagonizes his little brother every moment he gets. One of the many reasons why they barely visit each other

It’s suspected the reason they’re so hostile towards each other is because of the way their parents brought them up. As we know, Maleficent and Hades are divorced, so we shouldn’t be surprised they’d separate the boys and raise them to be their tools of destruction, the heirs to their legacy of evil, all the while telling them nothing but awful things about each other and their absent parent.

After all, their parents were villains. If you think they’d be above manipulating their own kids, you’re sorely mistaken.

So in terms of relationship? There’s not much of one… :D

Haha wait, are the other wk chars in the descendents au too? What roles do they have? Are the villains good?

I’ll be honest, I didn’t get that far because it was a spur of the moment AU. I just happened to remember Descendants existed for five seconds and then I didn’t expand on it 😅

“Ya know, this room’s actually a lot nicer than I thought it’d be. I mean, could be better, but beggars can’t be choosers.”

Chris watched as his leather-clad imposter smoothed out the sheets of his twin-sized bed. The room was quite small, and a little cluttered, but it was much better than the equivalent of a closet space. Quite nicer, with comfortable bedding and it not being freezing in the room, or rats making nests in the walls. He glanced back at the brunette in the mirror, a grin on his face. Angry hazel eyes glared into emerald green.

“I wish we could share, but you know how it goes, don’tcha?~” he said, his tone sickeningly sweet. “Can’t have two Chrises at once.”

Chris wanted to wipe that smug look off his face. He couldn’t believe he’d fallen for that stupid act this imposter had pulled, like he’d been trapped in the mirror realm and needed help. But he was just a damn con and he’d played right into his hands!

But this couldn’t last too long, right? Martin would see right through him! Martin would know an imposter when he saw one…

Wouldn’t he?

Descendants AU mixed with some dimensional mischief?? Absolutely.

TL;DR - CK (the Mal of the Descendants AU) traps OG Chris in the mirror realm (more of an inbetween realm) and takes his place to escape from the Isle of the Lost. Hijinks ensue.
