She was life itself; wild and free, wonderfully chaotic, a perfectly put together mess.
Charlotte, meet Estelle James St.Claire, a 28 year old resident. Hailing from Denver, Colorado, she’s been living in the neighborhood of Dilworth for approximately ten years. She’s been told she looks like the twin of Zoey Deutch, but she disagrees.
GET TO KNOW THEM --
x she’s a reporter for the local news station, WJZY. x In her early years, Estelle bore witness to her parents' tumultuous divorce, a situation where, regrettably, she and her brother became pawns in their contentious separation. This ordeal resulted in strained connections with her parents but forged a deep and lasting bond with her brother. x Estelle's father is the influential figure behind a chain of marijuana dispensaries that span across Colorado and neighboring states. However, whispers within the grapevine suggest that these establishments are renowned for more than just their cannabis offerings. x she can be found on all social media accounts by the handle @sugarplum x People often describe her as empathetic, determined, and selfless but also resentful, impatient, and overprotective. x When she’s not at work or with friends, she likes to travel to new places and get lost in good books. x Her favorite person is her daughter, Vera.
TO THE GRAVE --
Ever since the disclosure of her pregnancy, Estie has consistently asserted that she was unaware of the father of her unborn child. She has adamantly stuck to her story that the conception occurred during a hazy one-night encounter with an unknown stranger, someone she believed would never cross her path again. However, deep down, she has always held the knowledge of this supposed mystery man's true identity, concealed out of fear that revealing it would lead to a cascade of complicated consequences, just becoming one of the many concealed secrets of her past.

A student punched an 84-year-old bus driver in the face during an attack in North Carolina, officials told news outlets.
Now, the Concord Police Department says “the student faces a criminal charge, which will be handled through juvenile services,” WJZY first reported March 7.
The case dates to Feb. 27, when officials said the bus driver was outside West Cabarrus High School, roughly 20 miles northeast of Charlotte. The driver was waiting for students when he was punched, according to WJZY.
In response to a request for comment, Cabarrus County Schools in an email said an incident was reported on a bus parked at the high school campus.
“Student and staff safety is a top priority for Cabarrus County Schools,” the district wrote in its statement. “We are taking appropriate internal actions to provide for a safe environment on our buses. These actions include utilizing adult bus monitors as necessary, buses equipped with cameras, and bus driver professional development.”
Concord police in an incident report didn’t share the extent of the driver’s injuries or a motive for the alleged attack. A spokesperson told McClatchy News via email that the city couldn’t share additional details because a minor was involved.
Kirstin Rowland, a parent who loves her kids’ bus driver, told WSOC it was difficult to learn about the reported assault.
“My heart actually did break because there are so many good people wanting to be a part of children’s lives,” Rowland told WSOC.
“This is an on-going matter, and we are cooperating with local law enforcement to provide any information that we have,” the district wrote, adding that it couldn’t provide further comment about student discipline or personnel matters.

The Fillmore Report - An Disability Discrimination Story
For more than a month now, I’ve been trying to contact the local media in hope of them spreading my story of disability discrimination at The Fillmore Charlotte. After a month of trying, I have reach the conclusion that like The Fillmore Charlotte, they don’t give a damn about disabled people like myself. So I’m going to share it here on my website.
In my fifteen years of concert-going experiences, I have never experienced the level of incompetence and disrespect shown by The Fillmore Charlotte on September 11, 2019. A month prior to the concert, I had my brother contact The Fillmore to address my concerns of the location of the handicap area. My last experience there in 2015 was horrible. I couldn’t see the stage from my seat in the handicap area. My brother showed them pictures of my 2015 experience and they said they would look into changing the location of the handicap area. My brother also requested sign language interpreting services for me as well.
I was excited about seeing my favorite band, Angels and Airwaves. It had been nine years since I last saw them. When my brother and I arrived at the Fillmore, we were led to the handicap area and I felt like my head had exploded. The “new” location was actually worse than the one in 2015. I still couldn’t see the stage from my seat. Soon after, two sign language interpreters introduced themselves to me. They said they planned to be on the far end of the stage. Suddenly I was thinking… you expect me to be able to see two moving arms from that far away. The interpreters had address this concern with the manager beforehand, but it wasn’t til I made my concerns known, that they made the adjustment. They moved the interpreters in front of me. It wasn’t the ideal location, but it was better than not being able to see them at all. Later on in the show, the interpreters told me that the Fillmore did NOT request the interpreting services until yesterday. They would usually get a month head up so they can practice all the songs and be more prepare. My brother told them he did request the service four weeks ago. I believed the interpreters were just as bothered as I was by the level of incompetence shown by the management. One of the interpreters said that what’s the Fillmore is doing is providing minimum accessibly.
What the Fillmore had done to me and the other disabled people in the handicap area felt wrong and illegal. I have never experience a music venue with handicap area that doesn’t have an actual view of the stage until The Fillmore. After the Angels and Airwaves show, it became evidently clear that The Fillmore do not give a damn about disabled music fans like myself.
Is minimum accessibly a form of disability discrimination? I am not a lawyer. but I will argue that it is a form of disability discrimination. The location of the handicap area is so bad that I bet it’s the least popular spot anywhere in the venue; Meaning if the whole venue was a standing only without the handicap area, I can’t imagine anyone flocking over to where the handicap area was. That is the thing that tick me off the most and is why I believe The Fillmore do not give a damn about the disables.
The reason why I’m sharing my story now is because ever since last week when I experience another possible case of disability discrimination, a fuse have been softly lit inside of me. At the same time, I’m in the middle of finishing up an outline for my third novel, which just happened to partly explore all the shits people with disabilities deals with daily and how it affect them over time. Figuratively speaking, my gloves are coming off for this story. I’m writing this fictional story to give people with disabilities something to relate to Something they can share with others just to get a glimpse of what it like being a disabled living in a world that generally doesn’t accept them. I’ll reveal a little more informations about my third novel in a separate post before the end of the year.
As for where I am at with The Fillmore situation, I am done for now. I told my story. I am open to a face to face meeting with the manager of The Fillmore. They got my brother’s numbers. Until then, thanks for being a source of inspiration for my next novel.
For those who doesn’t know me. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and hearing loss. I enjoys music with the help of hearing aids. I’ve written two books; an autobiography and a story about an fictional indie rock band.

So, I had terrible service when I went to get my oil changed at Scott Clark Nissan (in Charlotte nc) earlier this week. They called to ask me how my service was and I complained. I was told the service manager would call me.
He finally called me back today and I went through the multiple issues I experienced while I was there. One of them was, when I was leaving and trying to get them to fix something they didn’t do, one of the service advisors said I seemed upset. I said I was and didn’t think I’d be returning. His reply? But if you don’t come back, you’ll never see this smiling face.
I get that he was trying to diffuse the situation but he would NEVER say that to a man.
The service managers response? I know the guy you’re talking about. He has a sister. And a girlfriend. He’s not sexist.
What the heck?? That’s your response?! And because someone knows females, he’s not sexist? Doesn’t give inappropriate responses? Really?
I will never buy a car from them. If you’re in Charlotte, I would ask you to not use them either. They need to understand this is not the way to talk to a paying customer.

"They said she wasn't feeling well. She had alcohol poisoning," Salamondra Robinson told WJZY. "They couldn't get a pulse. Each one of the people that was there with her was telling different stories." But an autopsy later revealed that Robinson's spine was cracked and she had a broken neck. The group of friends traveled back to the US, while Robinson's body was held there for about two weeks, per WJZY. ... Earlier this week, Gerald Jackson, a local blogger who runs The North Carolina Beat, released a graphic video of a woman attacking an unclothed woman. Robinson's father, Bernard Robinson, confirmed to The Daily Beast that his daughter is the woman being attacked in the 18-second video that has gone viral. In the video, a person could be heard saying, "Quella, can you at least fight back?" The video set social media ablaze this week, with thousands calling for justice for the Robinson family. Even celebrities weighed in. "They attacked her," Bernard Robinson told TMZ. "They put a hole in my heart. That was my only child. I'm heartbroken. I can't even be a grandaddy. I can't walk her down the aisle. I can't hear her voice." He continued, "They left her in that house ma'am. They left her there for the maid to find her. Do you know how much pain my daughter suffered?...I just want justice."

#SadNews Shanquella was part of a group that traveled from Charlotte to Cabo on October 28 and rented out a villa to celebrate a friend's birthday. Her mother, Salamondra Robinson, told Fox affiliate WJZY that she last spoke to her daughter moments after she had settled down for a meal with her friends. They agreed to talk the next day, but the phone call that she received instead was from one of Shanquella's friends, who told her that her daughter was sick and they were waiting for a doctor to arrive. 'They said she wasn't feeling well. She had alcohol poisoning,' Salamondra said. 'They couldn't get a pulse. Each one of the people that was there with her was telling different stories.' She later received a tragic call from one of Shanquella's friends claiming the young woman had died from food poisoning. 'No one told the same story, so I never believed them anyway,' Salomondra said. A man, who appears to be filming the sickening assault, taunts Shanquella 'can you at least fight back?' Shanquella attempts to get away from her attacker and replies 'no', before the woman slams her to the floor next to the bed. The woman then punches and knees her in the head. The woman then yells at Shanquella to 'get up, I'm tired of the ****.' A representative for Villa Linda 32, the property where the group was staying, told WJZY that the concierge contacted a doctor who attempted to revive Shanquella. She was declared dead at 3pm local time, reportedly about 15 minutes after she was beaten. A copy of the autopsy report obtained by Salamondra indicated that Shanquella's neck was broken. WJZY reported that the area in the death certificate that would show if Shanquella had been intoxicated only indicated that she 'was found unconscious in her living room'. The certificate also has an area where authorities note whether the death was accidental or violent. They inscribed 'yes' into the section, but did not choose accidental or violent. Shanquella's body was flown back to Charlotte last Thursday and a funeral service was held over the weekend. #dailymail https://www.instagram.com/p/ClC_I2NuxSo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Video evidence raises questions on Shanquella Robinson's death
Video evidence raises questions on Shanquella Robinson’s death
(NewsNation) — 25-year-old Shanquella Robinson was found dead after one day of vacationing with a group of friends in Cabo San Lucas. Her official death certificate, obtained by Nexstar’s WJZY, lists the cause of death as severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation, which is instability in the uppermost vertebrae, but her family still has questions. “They didn’t call us until the very last…

The 25-year-old arrived in Cabo San Lucas early on Friday, October 28. The next morning, she was dead.Robinson’s mother, Salamondra Robinson, told WJZY-TV that she received a frantic call Saturday evening from her daughter’s friends saying that she had suffered from alcohol poisoning and that they couldn’t feel a pulse. They reportedly told her they were calling a doctor. The family grew suspicious when the autopsy said that Robinson did not die from alcohol poisoning but that she had suffered a lethal injury to her spinal cord and neck. Her mother said it took two weeks and almost $6,000 to have her daughter’s remains sent home.Initially, the U.S. State Department office in Mexico said there was “no clear evidence of foul play” and concluded there was “no certainty she murdered.”That’s when a shocking video surfaced on social media. The video changes everythingOn Tuesday, a video was circulated on social media that appeared to show Robinson being brutally beaten by one of her friends while others stood by and recorded the incident. At one point, a man taunted the woman by asking why she wasn’t fighting back.Robinson’s family confirmed to WJZY that the woman being beaten on the video was their daughter. On Thursday, Mexican officials said to WJZY that the investigation was “very much open” and they are still looking for answers. They also said they did not know about the video until Wednesday.Online outrageThe video led to a furor online as people raged against the woman’s friends for recording the video while she received what was likely a lethal beating.“They intentionally killed her. They sat there & watched that baby get beat. They didn’t stop it or try to defend her. They recorded the assault as if to humiliate her. Absolutely disgusting,” read one popular tweet.“What happened to that beautiful girl was NOT okay. I’ve been angry for a few days about the story, I’m still sick to my stomach,” replied another commenter.“I wish I didn’t come across this. I wish I didn’t know this happened. I wish so many things. This poor woman. I hope they all end up in jail for what they did to her and that her family gets Justice,” said singer Malynda Hale.“For them to beat that girl like that and tell her to fight is just disgusting. Just broke my heart,” responded performer K. Michelle. Some also accused Mexican authorities of racism, saying they would have investigated with more effort if the victim had been a white woman. No one has been charged for Robinson’s death. The family has set up a GoFundMe account to help with her funeral expenses. Here’s a local news report about the incident: [embed]https://youtube.com/watch?v=IwKMu5BOXFs&rel=0[/embed] Bonus: Root Cellar That Can Be Used as a BunkerDo you remember the old root cellars our great-grandparents used to have?
