(Before Whizzer and Marvin are official) The two go laser tagging and they get super competitive, like they are both drenched in sweat. They've been playing for hours, and Marvin really wants to win. And he knows just the way. He shoves Whizzer into a corner and gives him a big ol' kiss on the lips, then shoots him and runs away. Whizzer stands there for a moment, because "Marvin just kissed me with no prompting whatsoever".

Whizzvin Drabble For @wizards-who-brew-meth

500 words even! I’m putting it under a cut anyway though

The room was quiet. Marvin was supposed to get home from work soon, and Whizzer would certainly have something to say to him if he was late getting home again. Marvin had been getting home late for a few days now, and even though he knows he shouldn't be bitter about it, Whizzer couldn't help but be the slightest bit upset. What, work was more important than him? Unlikely. He grabbed the first bottle of wine he saw, though after reading the label he shook his head and went digging for the one he wanted. It was at this moment that he heard the front door open. He smiled, for once Marvin wasn't late getting home. He tried to hide the fact that he was happy about this, though, keeping himself buried in bottles of wine, yelling a greeting to Marvin.

"You only have shitty wine." He said when his boyfriend walked over to him.

Marvin pulled him to his chest, his arms wrapped around his waist, kissing the back of his neck. "You're the one who told me what to buy, Whizzer. I don't know what any of these are."

"Yes, and you're the one who bought them. Meaning it's your wine. Your shitty wine."

Marvin laughs, "Whizzer, that's not how it works."

They share a smile, Marvin pulling Whizzer by the hand back into the kitchen.

Marvin loved moments like that, when they could have playful fights like that. It let him really understand how far they'd come as a couple. Back when they were dating the first time fights like that would be made of serious shouting, true aggression. But now when they speak like this it was in playful tones, it wasn't out of anger. Now they feel so stable together that they can playfully argue and fight without being afraid of hurting one another, without being afraid of breaking apart.

"Marvin? Are you still with me?"

"What?"

Whizzer shakes his head, "I asked you what you wanted to eat."

Marvin shrugs, which turns into them chatting about what they could have for dinner. Which turns into them in the kitchen, Marvin asking Whizzer what he's doing every time Whizzer grabs or moves something. Marvin had his head resting on Whizzer's shoulder, his arms wrapped around Whizzer's torso, while Whizzer stood at the counter, making whatever pasta based meal came to his mind first while he chopped vegetables.

"I love you." Marvin mutters in a moment of silence when he wasn't asking what a scallop was.

"I love you too." Whizzer replies softly, tilting his head to touch Marvin's, the best form of affection he could give while still actively cutting things.

This was how the rest of the evening was spent, muttering affectionately to each other between jokes, Marvin refusing to let go of Whizzer the entire time.

Marvin already lost Whizzer once, he wasn't going to lose him again.

Oh how unprepared he was for the events of their racquetball game the next afternoon.
