i've been sewing a lil recently (bathrobe to wizardrobe transformation arc) and now my sewing kit has gained sentience and sirenic abilities.

[ID: A Val and Isaac comic. It starts on Space Dread, a four-armed alien with red skin, lying in the snow. She seems stunned, and her hat is lying beside her like she'd been blown back by some force. She sits up and asks, "What... was that?"

Huddling in front of Space Dread in the snow is an extremely pale child with blank white eyes and a desaturated purple aura around her. The girl replies, "The [redacted]." The name she says is physically scribbled over, making it illegible.

Space Dread asks, "And... You want me to kill it?" The girl says, "No." The view zooms in on her tired, haunted eyes. "I want you to kill me."

The view cuts to Space Dread in a diner, eating noodles while on the phone. She says, "I don't know. Some kinda protection spell cast by her dad. Kills anyone who even touches her. (Pause) It did, but I took Resurrectol this morning. I'm fine."

The girl is shown enthusiastically eating, her aura now a brighter purple. Space Dread says, "No, we're in a restaurant. She hasn't eaten since she ran away. So you can help, right?" Space Dread eats while listening to something and then says, "Dude, she hired me to kill herself. And not in an "I wanted to test my own strength" kinda way that people think is cute for some reason."

She sighs and pinches her nose. "Oh, for--" Annoyed, she says, "Fine. What time do you get out of wizardrobics?"

The scene changes to show Isaac, a wizard in blue robes with blue skin, smiling as he stands beside the girl, who is sitting on a medical bench. Isaac is holding something birdlike by the neck and what looks like some grains, and he smiles, "There, that should do it!" The girl, no longer surrounded by an aura, looks at her hand and says, "I don't... Feel any different." Isaac says, "Well, the spell was cast at you, not on you. There's a difference."

Space Dread asks, "You got a place to stay?" The girl replies, "My aunt lives in a nearby colony, but... Are you sure the [redacted] is totally gone? I don't wanna hurt her." Isaac says, "Again, it's not you who's been hurting people. But if you need assurance, gimme five!"

He holds up a hand for the girl to slap. She looks at it nervously, then returns the high five. A glow surrounds their hands as they meet harmlessly, and the girl looks overjoyed. End ID]

This is my last project, i’m really proud of it !! It took me a couple of hours of hard work.

First thing first ! 

I used the Pattern Simplicity 5840 with the tutorial of Half Blood Sisters that I found on Pinterest. I simply followed her instroctions. I made some personnal changes, but that was tottaly personnal, that is why my Wizard Robe can have some difference with the one in the tutorial i linked. 

This is how I sorted my patterns and a little sample of each fabric I used for the projet. I will let the original pattern in his package, but all the altered pattern I did, I putted them in a clear envelope. 

Only me, first time I could put the robe on my shoulders. That feeling is amazing !

Life is a constant struggle because I cannot find any purveyors of quality goods to sell me robes of a proper variety for wizardry.

They are to be a dark purple or blue, reminiscent of the night sky, with slight light, either coming from glitter or white details, creating the impression of the stars.

The hat is to be baggy, but not TOO baggy, and carry on the same theme and color scheme as the robes.

Sadly it seems most modern stores, haberdasheries, and street vendors don’t sell these anymore.

Wouldn’t have been a problem a few centuries ago
