for the ask game! ive been asking everyone so far about quartermane sooo how about him?
and idk if youve been asked about dyvim yet but if not ɛ:
/whifflingwizard
quartermane is an interesting one... i dont really think about him because tbh i kinda had to skip past all his dialogue when i was on my death bc my buddy wanted to speedquest im so sorry quartermane fans...my storm is getting close to lemuria so this time i'll make sure to sit back and listen a bit more though! even then im not safe because his "TO ADVENTURE" still haunts me in my sleep.
in all honesty i actually have NO clue exactly how my wizards would interact with dyvim because uh tbh khrysalis is a bit or a blur to me in all cases so i dont really remember much nor have many thoughts abt the NPCs (which i'll have to fix soon for Cethin's lore) but lets just say they all think he's cool and like him very much as a basis and ill figure it out another day
Stallion Quartermane
Alicia DragonHeart - neutral
Finds him irritating.
She was among the votes to leave Quartermane entombed in his block of ice within Madness Mountain, but did lose the debate to Morgan & Destiny and thus convinced to thaw him out of it.
Went home with a migraine after having Pork and Quartermane in the same room for an extended period of time during the events of Selenopolis. Khonsu gets to feel her migraine-enthused wrath personally by the end of the night.
Destiny NightStalker - positive
Similar to how he taught Ozzy what "Skibidi Toilet" and "Sigma Rizz" means, he's trying to teach Quartermane modern earth slang and sayings for no other reason than "it's really funny when he says it." and "it irritates Alicia."
Holy yap. Pork, Quartermane and Morgan can talk for hours and not run out of any subjects. (Four-way unmedicated AuDHD)
He's very interested in what worlds Quartermane has discovered, mostly in order for him to gain information about certain life and reagents out there he can use for Projects.
Rika TempestSurge - positive
She loves Quartermane's energy, as she is rather loud herself. Calls Alicia a bit of a hypocrite for disliking Quartermane for his noise despite being almost as equally loud as him and Rika in situations.
Gets in to in depth conversations with Quartermane about Celestia, whereas she won't share a word with the actual Spiral Geographic Society because she doesn't like how they invaded her world and caused Problems.
Sierra LifeBloom - positive
After Alicia, Morgan and Destiny save Pork and Quartermane, she swaps out her position with Alicia by her request and thus goes to help Ivan and Dyvim instead with Rika. She didn't believe that "the four of them can talk that much" - she does now.
She is rather soft-spoken, so conversations between her and Quartermane typically result in him interrupting her accidentally before apologising and telling her to continue with what she was saying. "Apologies, my friend! What was it you were saying?"
Kestrel SunPyre - neutral
Growing up Marleybonian, she heard all about the great Stallion Quartermane and how he helped start the Geographic Society and discover distant worlds. She is tired of hearing about Marleybonians, especially since she was forced to grow up with proper manners like the dog instead of the "rowdy, stinky nature of those street cats".
She is aware his legacy isn't entirely his fault and instead how the Marleybonians pick a person and idolise them as a pinnacle of evolving their society, but it doesnt change the fact she's had to hear about him so much. It doesn't upset her when Morgan talks about him however, its just when the dogs do it.
Holly GrimTundra - negative
As someone who prefers quiet, the amount of noise that Quartermane makes greatly upsets her. He's loud and obnoxious, which is something that Holly doesn't like.
They at least somewhat appreciate his enthusiasm and dedication to research and discovery however,
She voted to keep Quartermane in the block of ice because she "didn't like his vibes", promptly being the only one to pay attention to what the Old One was saying on the console while the rest argued.
Morgan LegendHunter - POSITIVE
As the resident lorekeeper and history nerd, they lost their absolute minds upon seeing Quartermane and realising that he was still alive after his mysterious disappearance.
Was the first one to mention thawing him out, starting the whole argument as they tried to convince the others it'd be best to thaw him out.
Thrilled to see him again in Selenopolis, catching up with him about if he's found any new worlds and whatnot and how the rest of the Heroes of Lemuria are going.

I'm musing about the Andy situation and what it means to be an internet porn commission writer/artist for seven years tomorrow.
Ok if y'all can't look at this blog/the way I speak/my fics and figure out my main that's not something I'm going to clear up for you. I'd rather not have my wizard101 nostalgia blog linked to my patreon, a place I regularly post torture porn art. On the flip side of this, threatening to "out" me for hating furries to my furry commissioners doesn't mean much because I have always worn my distaste plain. I've outright told customers that I hated filling their order and they come back to pay me again anyway. I post jokes about it all the time. I'll draw furry porn for the same reason a janitor will wipe down a menstrual waste box in a public bathroom. It's work, I work I get money.
Why would these people come back, knowing that I don't like the stuff I make for them specifically? Excellent question. I don't know and I don't care to ask. Maybe those repeat customers think that giving me hundreds of dollars for something I was already going to do is an own. Maybe my attitude is more common than I assume, because customer service wears on the nicest people. Maybe they can tell that I've had to deal with a lot of broke perverts who want free shit, and am just happy to take the disposable income of perverts who will pay half upfront.
Doesn't matter. Antipsychotics for the uninsured are wildly expensive, food prices are going up, and my car always needs something fixed. My cousin calls to ask for money once a month, she has a kid now. I like foreign cigarettes and coffee with fancy creamer. So furry porn will continue to be a thing I make at the request of others. For as long as it continues to be profitable for me.
So if I can write and draw and keep myself afloat, why not quit my day job? Because I love it. I love my job and I don't want to quit, I don't want to stop going out and meeting new people every day. I like that having an event based job help me make friends as an adult. It doesn't pay much, but it's enough to cover my half of rent and groceries, everything else is pervert money.
Conversely, I don't love doing customer service with obstinate Tumblr users. Or writing a/b/o or staying up all night to finish art I can barely stand looking at. It's all work, but only one of my jobs has positives outside the pay.
I'm ambivalent about those parts of my work. I'm glad to have the money, but I could do without having to regularly interact with people who don't go outside enough. The sort of person who would call me ableist for mocking shut-ins then compare disliking furries (carpet samples. End of thought) to ableism, as if being autistic is on par with drawing diaper fetish art.
That's been a big point of contention between me a former friends online. I log on I draw a picture of Lola bunny in bondage for too much money and I log off. I don't go around preaching about mental health and politics from my porn blog. I make fun of people who do because it's important to me that they know, it's fucking stupid to post that type of shit on a porn blog, nobody looks good. Bidoofs law still applies, even when your politics aren't the worst imaginable.
Man I'm. Tired. But at least I won't have to do another commission until after January

What W101 School the Owl House kids would be in
Since getting back into Wizard101, I’ve been thinking about what schools of magic the kids from The Owl House would be in. This took a bit of thinking, since the W101 schools and the Owl House covens weren’t completely alike. But I have come to the conclusion that these are the schools these characters would be. I chose seven characters since there are sevens schools of magic in Wizard101.
Luz: Balance
Obviously(In my opinion, anyway.), Luz would be a Balance wizard. She wants to learn all kinds of magic, and managed to find a way to do so, even though she is a human that can’t ‘traditionally’ perform magic. Balance is considered the jack-of-all-trades magic, which sounds like Luz. But also Luz’s personality strikes me as a balance wizard-like, especially how she impacts her friends and gets them to be better versions of themselves, like with how she helped Willow get into the Plant track, turned Amity into a friend, and later girlfriend, and how she positively influences Eda and King’s lives.
Amity: Myth
After thinking, I’ve come to believe Amity would be in the Myth school. I first thought Ice due to her rather icy attitude at the beginning, but I think Myth suits her better. For starters, her use of Abominations kinda reminds me how Myth Wizards summon monsters to do their bidding. But also, she reminds me of the Myth Professor, Cyrus Drake. They both come off as serious, focused on their work, and very unpleasant, but gradually warm up to the main protagonist and proves to be a loyal ally.
Gus: Fire
This is another one that took a lot of thinking, but I think Gus belongs to the Fire School. He strikes me as someone who is very enthusiastic and passionate, and of course, dramatic. When it came to things related to humans, he was excitable and eager to learn. But he’s also a warm-hearted person, very empathetic and ready to welcome others with open arms, which is very Fire to me, energetic and enthusiastic, which can sometimes get him into trouble, but also warm and caring.
Willow: Life
Like with Luz, this seemed like a an obvious choice for Willow, not just because Willow uses plant magic. Also because of her gentle, caring, and often shy nature. Also her deepest wish, to become strong and wise to protect her loved ones and to punish those who gets in her way, it gives me Life Wizard vibes. Also, she strikes me as selfless and rather pacifistic, only fighting when she feels there’s no other option, which is also Life Wizard-like.
Hunter: Balance
I was actually torn between Balance and Life for Hunter. I thought Life, since he wants to cure his ‘Uncle Belos’ of his curse. But I decided to go with Balance, not just because he’s a member’s of the Emperor’s Coven, which allows witches to use all kinds of magic, but also he wants to study Wild Magic in contrast to Belos, who wants to eradicate it. He reminds me a lot of Luz, in a weird way, both can’t use magic like other witches can, both want to prove themselves, and both show that there is much more to them than what others perceive them to be, which is much like a Balance Wizard.
Boscha: Storm
I admit, I wasn’t entirely sure about this at first, but after a while, it started to make sense to me. She’s mean, and while that’s not a Storm Wizard quality, she is definitely aggressive, as we see in grudgby  and storm magic is known to do heavy damage. She’s also in potions and that takes a bit of creativity (at least to me.), and storm magic is known to be creative. Due to her aggressive nature and athletic ability, but she also strikes me as impatient and clearly likes to be the center of attention, she gives off Storm Wizard vibes to me.
Skara: Fire
I originally wasn’t going to put Skara here since she is a relatively minor character, but then I decided, why not? I thought for a minute, and I figured she would Fire, mainly due to her energetic and rather perky personality, and how she can kinda go from bully to friendly relatively quickly, well, she always struck me as the friendliest out her, Boscha, and Amity.
I didn’t do multi-houses, since you are able to learn spells from other schools in Wizard101, so I figured it wasn’t necessary. Sorry if this seems like disorganized rambling and doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense, they made much more sense in my head.

the seven main schools (+ astral & shadow) as flowers
NOTE: i did not dive too deep into researching for this and most of the information i got for this post i got from this site . please dont come after me if i get a meaning wrong IM TRYING MY BEST!!! moving on
this is going to be a LONG POST so sit tight
myth - clematis (also known as traveller’s joy, old man’s beard)
Tumblr media
i chose clematis mainly for its meaning: representing artifice, ingenuity and mental beauty. i think part of being a conjurer means that the world is only as big as you make it, and part of it is utilizing your imagination to its fullest extent. mental beauty and ingenuity go hand in hand with being creative, but artifice, in this flower symbolism, means to be cunning or be deceitful. i also think this comes from cyrus drake also being your teacher, which means he would teach in a style that would want you to exploit the weaknesses of the creatures that you summon (that being, calling their true name) in order for them to do your bidding.
“Myth dwells between Fire and Ice, for that is where the shadows lie, and Myths are the shadowy forms of thought made real.”
storm - gladiolus (also known as a sword lily)
Tumblr media
urgh.... storm was such a hard school to choose a flower for @_@ according to the wizard101 site storm is also based on creativity, but since we already had that sort of meaning attached to myth, i decided to go with the next best thing which is that gladiolus represents strength, strong character, honor and moral integrity. i feel like it’s pretty well known fact that storm is a hitting school, and a pretty well known one at that - their reputation as a power school is pervasive through all wizarding circles. i feel like this is also where a diviner’s sense of pride comes from - being able to one-hit ko enemies and brandish your power proudly.
amazingly enough, the wizard101 site also addresses this, saying that, “the Storm School will train its student wizards to do a lot of damage. Storm Wizards have the ability to unleash high amounts of damage from an early level, which is good, but they place too much emphasis on power, and therefore suffer in terms of accuracy.”
placing too much emphasis on power... very interesting indeed
death - papaver (poppy)
Tumblr media
death was ALSO a super hard school to pick a flower for. i debated between the dracula, the poppy, and the spider lily before deciding to settle with the poppy. I chose poppies in particular because “Poppies have long been used as a symbol of sleep, peace, and death: Sleep because the opium extracted from them is a sedative, and death because of the common blood-red color of the red poppy in particular.” source
I FEEL AS IF THE SPIDER LILY WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO EASY OF A CHOICE but i wanted to encompass all the meanings that death has and has been associated with. some people associate death with peace (at being in a “”better place””), and some people sometimes to describe it as “sleeping” to a younger audience with no death awareness. also heres a nice little excerpt from the w101 site: “Death is about ending and closure. All things pass eventually, and time cannot be held back forever. Wizards devoted to Death Magic, known as Necromancers, understand this fact about everything around them and strive to face it without fear.”
ice - magnolia
Tumblr media
as soon as i saw this flower and its description it was PERFECT for ice. magnolias represent longevity and perseverance, due to the fact that magnolias are believed to have existed even at the beginning of time. the ice schools main theme is about persistance - which is to say, that if you’re patient and determined, you will collect the fruits of your labor in the end.
the school page even says this, noting that “The Ice School will train its student wizards to take high amounts of damage and survive.” To thaumaturges, it is simply about surviving to see the end of the battle, and that’s what their play style involves. both magnolias and thaumaturges have that in common : persist and survive.
fire - ixora (also known as jungle flame, flame of the woods)
Tumblr media
it was also hard choosing a plant for fire, seeing as so many plants can be described as “passionate” in a symbolic sense. it was between this and orange tulips, but i felt that both the names “jungle flame” and “flame of the woods” both fit fire’s theme. that being said, ixora’s represent passion - the core of fire’s development and description. it is the “bright, burning flame of raw emotion sweeping over everything.” (w101)
fire wizards mainly utilize damage over time spells, which reminds me that a frog boiling in a pot will leap immediately out of the water if its too hot, but will stay until it dies if the water’s temperature reaches steadily. while fire’s general message are that it may consume everything it touches, and how pyromancers are quick to anger and tempestuous, fire plays the longer game by slow roasting their enemies until it is too late for them.
balance - cosmos
Tumblr media
when i saw this flower and its meanings there was literally no chance any other flower could compare omg
balance is described as finding the equality of everything and harmony. they are described as broad-minded, taught to be considerate of all things, as well as their own place in the world they live in. cosmos, in this case, represent order, peace, modesty and harmony -- all things which are important to a balance wizard. balance thrives in the company of others, simply because it was made in mind to help others in the heat of battle. “The Balance School will train its student wizards to be effective in group play.” (w101)
however as a result, they may appear as stand-offish and impassive, unable to choose a side or make a choice. such is life when you’re raised to consider all factors of every choice you make - every decision feels heavy.
life - achillea (also known as yarrow)
Tumblr media
named after the greek hero achilles, legends would say that his soldiers would treat their wounds with this. source
i chose achillea for life simply for the fact that it represents healing and protection, as well as it being used it being a versatile plant used to treat a variety of maladies or sicknesses - it’s been used as a medicinal plant for a long time across the world.
life embodies “the spirit, the force of awareness and existence. It is about constant growth and movement.” (w101). theurgists are described as having simple pleasures in life, in revelling in the idea of the living, breathing, planet around you. it utilizes the song of creation, using it to weave life where there was none previously. it definitely has powerful roots in the canon storyline - i just wish it was utilized more through its play style.
(astral) star - aster (also known as starwort, frost flower)
Tumblr media
ok i dont have a deep meaning for this im sorry . i mainly chose aster simply because “aster” is derived from the Greek word “astron”, which means “star”, and because of the shape of its flowers. pretty simple reason but ill try my best to do it justice
however, aster is represented by patience and elegance -- star magic may be a lesser form of sun magic, simply because it is meant to power yourself rather than your spells. i think theres something inherently elegant about an aura wrapping itself around your figure, bending to the whim of your spells, as it both enhances your health or your spells.
(astral) sun - datura (also known as devil’s trumpet)
Tumblr media
Datura symbolizes power and caution. It is a powerful and deadly plant, but also a major religious and cultural symbol.
i chose datura’s for sun because sun is all about power -- datura is highly poisonous and very dangerous to be around. the main deal of the sun school is that they use spells to make their own stronger - it has the “power to endure, power to persevere, and power to change”. we don’t get much of a canon explanation for how sun magic works outside of battles, but i imagine that you have to be careful with sun magic, because as we know - absolute power corrupts absolutely. aint that neat
(astral) moon - protea
Tumblr media
protea’s represent ingenuity, diversity, transformation and courage. a big part of moon magic is that it is all about change. changing your spells, your body, your thoughts -- it is symbolized by the moon because it goes through many changes (the tides, the phases of the moon, etc).
i feel as if moon magic might be one of the harder magics to master out of all the astral schools - the transformation into something else may not come as easy as star auras, or that it simply may be too hard on the caster in question, having to change their physical appearances and battle tactics to fit into a new one.
shadow - rhododendron
Tumblr media
rhododendron’s represent temptation, caution and danger.
despite how pretty it looks, the stems, leaves, and flowers can be poisonous to humans and pets if ingested. i feel as if that describes shadow perfectly -- the pleasant sight of these pretty flowers is enough to entice a person (wizard) forward, but you must be careful with how you handle this plant, or else you will end up facing dire consequences. (backlash)
shadow magic as a whole can be very tempting to those who seek it -- offering power that scales above others. but it is an advanced magic, and those who seek to play with it often end up paying the price with their lives (in this case, morganthe was crushed underneath the weight of power that shadow gave her). shadow can give you an upper hand, however, if used right -- and the wizard, for the most part, is using it right.
shadow is mainly a cautionary tale of not playing with higher, advanced, magics with the wrong intentions.

Okay Now Do The Rest
4. how did your elementary school teachers describe you?
Bright but argumentative. I was never afraid of pointing out things I didn’t feel were fair hfhddh
When we were learning numbers kids would often write 91 for nineteen, just flip them, y’know, and Ms. Potter yelled at the class for it. Baby Generiq went into it about how it was an understandable mix up because you do say the number first. In twenty-three you write the two first, so in nineteen it’s easy to assume you would write the nine first.
6. pastel, boho, tomboy, preppy, goth, grunge, formal or sportswear?
Tired.
8. movies or tv shows?
TV shows. Every book adaptation should also be a series not a movie. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

10 Games That are Similar to Animal Jam
FactThe revenue collected by Animal Jam memberships is donated to animal conservatories by National Geographic.

Amphibia Theory: King Andrias and His Friends
(I do not own Amphibia, that belongs to Disney. Also, this WILL contain spoilers, so for those who haven’t seen the Season 2 finale or the Season 3 intro, Do not read this before watching the episode and intro.)
Tumblr media
After hearing King Andrias’ story and seeing his friends, I had a little theory about the three of them. Remember, this just a theory, so this may not be accurate. Also, this may seem more like an observation than a theory, so forgive me for my rambling.
Observations
When Andrias brings up his little backstory, he claims his ‘so-called friends’ abandoned him and most likely took the box away from him, at least he implied that last part.
What Andrias’ said about friendship really stuck out to me. “The more you love them, the more it hurts when they go.”
Also, it may not be something, but their colors remind me so much of the the colors of the Calamity Box gems. Andrias is blue, his toad friend is green, and his frog friend is close purple, reddish-pink.
Theory and Supporting Details
I think Andrias and his friends were much like Sasha, Anne, and Marcy. I also think that they each represented a certain gemstone. His frog friend represented the purple gem, strength, the toad friend represented the green gem, wit, and Andrias himself represented the blue gem, heart.
Whether they had the powers of those gems, I don’t think so.
I also know its bizarre to think Andrias would represent heart, but based on his quote above, I think he was the heart among his friends. Sure, he could represent strength and even wit, but that seems too obvious to me.
He seemed to genuinely love his friends. And while he was most likely a conqueror even then, I think the influence of his friends kept his more darker and war-hungry traits under control, at least to the point where it was not as bad as it is in the season 2 finale.
I also think he was a lot like Marcy when it came to his friends. He wanted to have them by his side forever, but he could be innocently insensitive about their feelings about what he was doing and what he wanted to do. And he would do rather not so good things to ensure that they would be together forever.
I also imagine him trying to justify his actions similar to Marcy, that he’s doing this for them, so they would always be together and be able to travel to new worlds and conquer them all together.
Why I compare Andrias to more to Marcy than Sasha is because I think that, like Marcy, he had difficulty making new friends too. He only seemed to have two true friends, like Marcy did back home, and when you’re royalty and desire to conquer other worlds, it can be hard to make new friends who truly care about you. And when they left, he felt all alone, and seemed to never made any more friends after that, only ‘befriending’  others who proved useful to him and his schemes.
But I can also see him being like Sasha too. Being controlling to his friends and expecting them to be okay with whatever he does and even being at his side, no matter how bad it is. And they both seem like the type to put their own ambitions over the wellbeing of their friends. We’ll just have to wait and see if we get more information about these three in Season 3.
I also think he subconsciously sees a bit of himself in Marcy, hence why he found it easy to manipulate her, not just because she told him about her insecurities and problems back home and what she had done, but also because he’s been in her place before.
Also, we see that Marcy seems to be on life support in the Season 3 intro. While that can be because he thinks keeping her alive would be useful for his conquest, I also think that. subconsciously, he empathizes with her and deep down, was genuinely fond of her, and that’s why he’s trying to keep her alive, even after he was the one who nearly killed her. But his heart had hardened too much from the loss of the calamity box and his own friends, so maybe even he doesn’t realize this.
Naturally, I believe his friends ‘betrayed’ him and took the box away to stop his plans of world domination. They might felt bad about it, because he’s their friend. But they would believe that they had no choice, since Andrias seemed unwilling to stop his plans, not even for his friends.
Much like how Marcy drove away Anne and Sasha, Andrias’ selfish desire to keep them all together is what ultimately drove them apart.
Remember, this is a theory, so no need to take this seriously, if you don’t agree that’s fine, I won’t force you to accept this.

Nightmare Before Christmas Pokemon Teams
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Made from Pokecharms Trainer Card Maker)
For Lock, Shock, and Barrel parnter Pokémon, Lock’s partner is Sableye, Shock has Mawile, and Barrel has Spinda. Also, the only reason they each only have one is because I figure they would be too young to officially be Pokémon trainers, and apparently you have to be at least 10 to become official trainers. So for now, they only each have one Pokémon to aid them in their mischief and troublemaking.
Also, I wasn’t sure if Ultra Beasts would count, but I just felt that Blacephalon and Guzzlord were perfect for Jack and Oogie, respectively, so I decided to go for it.
