I have headcanons of video games the Eltingville Club members would play:

Bill: Any Marvel games like Marvel Rivals with the rest of the guys, he would play a lot of competitive games and get voice chat banned for harassment and blame it on his “ranked teammates” although he’s the one that’s either a sweat or always dying.

Josh: Destroy All Humans, Atomic Heart, the Fallout franchise or any games relating to Sci-fi or post apocalypse. He’d also play a lot of open world games and grind on World of Warcraft while watching Star Trek on another monitor (Multi tasking lol)

Jerry: He’d have 500+ hours on Baldur’s Gate 3, favourite Elder Scrolls series is Oblivion, obviously plays Final Fantasy and Zelda and is a big fan of Nintendo games, would also play World of Warcraft but likes Wizard 101 more. Also enjoys cozy games like Stardew Valley and Sims but gets bullied by the others because it’s “games ment for girls”. He was also a club penguin player before it shut down.

Pete: Oh god. He would play those edgy newgrounds flash games like Picos school or sandbox torture games like people’s playground. He’d also enjoy Postal, Manhunt, Hatred and Doom and horror game franchises like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Loves l4d2 but complains that fast moving zombies are not accurate. He’d also play a lot of horror Jrpgs like Corpse Party, Mad Father etc and get very invested in the story too.

It’s really sad that there’s no longer places on the internet that’s just for tweens/kids anymore, Chai. When I was 9 there was Club penguin, Pixie Hollow, Toon City, Wizard 101, Freerealms, Jumpstart, Movie Star planet and so many others that we could go onto. A place where kids could be safe, chat, make friends. I was obsessed with all of them and would constantly beg my mom to make me an account. (Rip her email) But now, there’s little to no such thing anymore. Now kids are going into spaces they shouldn’t be or making friends or interacting with adults resulting in them being put in danger because of this.

I'm a little torn on this one. Believe me, I used to love Neopets and all of its offshoots, loved having this place that was just for me, but the truth is, those places were never completely safe. There were always creeps lurking, probably more than bears thinking about, and even at that age, I knew they were there and that I needed to be careful. Basically, if it's exclusively for kids and has a forum or chat function, it's a pretty safe bet to assume it's swimming with pedophiles.

I get what you're saying though, there's really nothing like Club Penguin or Jumpstart anymore. Although if it makes you feel any better, there are still places on the internet that are just for kids... there's apps, and Cartoon Network still has games. My little cousin loves My Singing Monster.

what was the first video game that you really loved (and would still play rn if you had the opportunity)? did you ever play flash games? do you have a Least favorite game genre? opinions on minecraft and undertale? i am a gamer i could ask you an endless amount of questions but i will stop here. for now.

i think the video game that turned me into a full-fledged gamer was probably skyrim. my brother introduced me to it and once the introduction dragon fight thing was over, he was like “ok now go do whatever tf you want” and i was like???? ANYTHING?????? and yea. been in love with video games ever since lmao. i don’t play skyrim much anymore, tho i do still have access to it so if i ever get the time i might start it again :)

least favorite genre might be 2d platforming games b/c i’m just. so ass at it 😭😭 also not into rpg games but wizard 101 was a huge exception. that game fucking ruled.

tbh don’t have an opinion on minecraft. it’s cool i guess lol. i won’t say it’s overhyped or anything, but it just personally was never all that to me. and i played undertale once a reallllly long time ago and i enjoyed it as far as i can remember. but i never really went into the fanbase or anything b/c they all scared me 😭 lowkey i forgot everything that happens in it but the music is fucking iconic
