Like Israel, we too try to appease God with "sacrifices" and our "religious" ways but that simply isn't enough; He wants changed lives. He wants His people to be fair, just, merciful, and walk humbly with Him. God wants us to become LIVING sacrifices, not just by doing or being religious, but living rightly. It is impossible to follow God consistently without His transforming love in our hearts. In our efforts to please Him, we should at least examine these areas on a regular basis, in order to keep ourselves accountable. Amen? Walk Humbly
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8 NKJV
Might and majesty be to God, the Heavenly Father, in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, hope you are all having a great time in the Lord. As it is said, time never waits for anyone, and we are to rightly use the time given to us. So how are you using your time? I would rather say about myself. I am not doing any great job brethren. Although I am working hard in this aspect and trying to live a life what God wants. But, how do you know what God wants? And the most easiest way is by reading the Holy Bible. And the above subject verse answers a part of our question i.e. what our Lord expects from you and me. The Lord our God, has already shown us what is good through his life. He did what is good in the sight of the Heavenly Father. His unshaken righteousness was evident to everyone. In-fact, nobody could ever prove or show any sin in Jesus. He was right and just in dealing with the people. Above all, He was merciful and his unconditional love for the mankind was apparent from the words He spoke on the Calvary Cross. Therefore brethren, let us strive to live our lives as our Lord and Savior has shown. Let us imitate Him and show the same loving kindness and mercy to others. Moreover, walk with humility and in obedience to the Lord our God. Stay blessed in Jesus' mighty and matchless name, Amen. Read the full article
