didn't c!tommy imply he had repressed a lot of pogtopia? cuz it makes me crazy thinking about how hearing c!wilbur's voice would bring his image to mind, but all c!tommy can remember is happy memories of lmanberg and their youth to be the image for c!wilburs voice as he tells him how happy he is that he died and they’re both better off this way, because they were never good for anyone. also its interesting cuz cwilbur only existing as an image in c!tommy's head is kinda how he saw himself anyway, and how he felt like everything he had become was already latent within him and inherent to his actions in l'manberg. he wanted c!tommy to see that, and now c!tommy is hearing his voice from the mouth of his younger self. [Rubs hands devilishly] its the perfect headcanon

so much of the fandom glosses over the fact that tommy was blind in limbo, he could only hear wilbur's voice, he didn't see him again until that first moment after wilbur's revival
