I drew this a while ago and tried to color it twice, but didn't like either attempt, so lineart it is. Wasn't sure if I was going to post this, but eh, here ya go. Also, This is my attempt at drawing tincrow as humans. NO, I am not talking about the wicked stuff, just the books. Scarecrow is on the left with long hair, and Tinman is the one on the right with short hair wearing scarecrow's hat. It's them on a train :)

A new Witch

This is the chapter I wrote down in late September of 2024 of what if Nimmie Amee became a witch. It's already on my Wattpad but why not add it here. It's not the best since I didn't know how to write my version of Nimmie just yet and still kinda don't but yeah, enjoy.

Nimmie saw Nick changing. The changes were obvious. It seemed like every time she saw him, he had a new body part made out of Tin. She knew that the Wicked Witch of the East has something to do with it. One of the last nights she saw Nick was when he only had his body was still flesh and his limbs and head were tin. After she found him that night she was greatly worried for him.

"Nick, why are you doing this to yourself?" Nimmie asked Nick.

"I made a promise to you Nimmie. I'm going to make this house so you can get away-" Nick was saying before he was cut off.

He was cutting a tree and losing control of his axe, and was cut in half.

"Nick" Nimmie shouted in worry.

Nimmie went by his side. She was trying to process it all. She quickly went to the same Tinner that replaced most of Nick with tin. She got the Tinner and they both went back to Nick. The Tinner brought tin and some more stuff needed to help mold the tin in place.

"Do you think he'll be ok?" Nimmie asked the Tinner while she was crying.

"I believe so. If I was able to replace his head so yes, he'll be fine" the Tinner said.

It took a few hours for the Tinner to make a new body and put the head and limbs onto it. When Nick was finally put back together, Nimmie hugged him. Nick hugged her back.

"Nick, I'm so glad you're ok" Nimmie happily said through tears.

Nick hummed for a response. Nimmie felt something was wrong with Nick. Nimmie pulled away from the hug and looked at the Tinner.

"Is he ok. Like really ok?" Nimmie asked him.

"Well, if you are emotionally wise, not so much" the Tinner said.

"What do you mean by that?" Nimmie asked.

"I couldn't give him a heart" the Tinner said.

Nick fully stood up and grabbed his axe. Then Nick put a hand over his chest where his heart should be.

"Nimmie" Nick said. "Why can't I feel?"

Nimmie hugged Nick while she shed some tears.

______________Sometime later_______________

It's been a week since Nimmie saw Nick. The old woman she worked for had given her more work to do. Nimmie was in Munchkin land running aarons, till she saw a little book about witchcraft. She picked it up and hid it in her basket with out anyone seeing her. She started to make a plan in her head. She knew what she was going to do with the book.

From that day, she slowly learned from the book. Learning spell to spell. At first she couldn't do any of the magic but slowly she started to do a spell. She poured love and anger into learning witchcraft so she can make a heart for Nick and give some well deserved karma to the Wicked Witch of the East.

Soon enough, a few years had passed and the old woman had passed to. Nimmie as well had gotten somewhat good with spells. When she was visiting Munchkin land one day, a house fell onto the Wicked Witch of the East. A girl named Dorothy had come in that house. All of the Munchkins and Nimmie were impressed. After Munchkins thanked Dorothy, Nimmie quickly gave her a hug and whispered to her.

"Keep an eye on Nick for me" Nimmie whispered in Dorothy's ear while pulling away from the hug.

Dorothy was confused but nodded out of kindness and understanding.

________________2 years later________________

In Oz, it had been 2 years since Dorothy killed the Wicked Witches and it has been a year since the defeat of the Gnome king. Nimmie over the years did get married to someone else. She still loves and cares about Nick but in a friendship way.

Scarecrow and Tinman were in Munchkin land to visit since this is the place where they both originally came from. The two friends were wondering about seeing stuff. Scarecrow and Tinman sperated for sometime. Nimmie was out and about to getting stuff for her and her husband's dinner. After she got some fruit, she was walking while she put the fruit in her basket. Since she wasn't looking, she ran into the back of Scarecrow who just finished talking to someone. Scarecrow stumbled and fell on the ground.

"I am so sorry Sir. I didn't mean to run into you like that" Nimmie apologized while helping him up.

"No worries there friend, it's quite alright" Scarecrow chuckled as he got up from the ground with the help of Nimmie. "I'm Scarecrow, nice to meet you Ma'am"

"Nice to meet you Mr. Scarecrow, I'm Nimmie" Nimmie replied.

Scarecrow's face seemed to light up.

"Nimmie. Nimmie Amee, right?" Scarecrow asked.

"Yes" Nimmie said. "How did you know my last name?"

"Nick talked about you often on our why to the Emerald city with Dorothy" Scarecrow happily said.

Nimmie just smiled.

"I guess he did" Nimmie said.

"Do you want to meet him?" Scarecrow asked. "He's here with me"

"Sure thing but for a little bit since I have to make dinner soon" Nimmie said.

Nimmie deciding on saving time used one of her new spells to transport her and Scarecrow to Nick. Scarecrow was confused as Tinman to see his friend teleport in front of him.

"What was that?" Scarecrow asked in confusion.

"I used a teleport spell to find him. It was one of many I learned to get away from the Wicked Witch of the East if needed" Nimmie replied to the Scarecrow's question. "And hello Nick, it's nice to see you again" Nimmie sadly replied.

"Nimmie" Tinman said with some tears in the corners of his eyes. "Nice to see you again as well"

"Please don't cry now Nick" Scarecrow sadly said as he wiped his tears.

Nimmie took one of the Tinman's hands to comfort him.

"I'm so so sorry that I didn't fulfill the promise" Nick sadly said.

"It's ok Nick. I'm not mad about it" Nimmie said softly.

"Really?" Nick asked.

"Yes, I'm not. A lot had happened since we last saw each other" Nimmie replied.

"I guess so" Nick chuckled as he calmed down.

The three decided to find a good place to sit to talk about the past. Nick and Scarecrow told her the adventures they had with Dorothy, Toto and Lion. Nimmie told Nick and Scarecrow how the old woman she worked for passed and how she started to do witchcraft and got married. Nick seemed both sad and happy when Nimmie said she was married.

Soon, it was time for Nimmie to go back home. Nimmie said her goodbyes to Nick and Scarecrow. Nick and Scarecrow left Munchkin land to go home. It's a long walk but the two friends don't mind since they don't sleep.

"So, she seemed nice, and I'm happy where she is now since you last saw her Nick" Scarecrow happily said to the Tinman.

"Same" Nick happily said with a smile.

"If she is, she may be of great service to us," answered the Scarecrow, who was impressed by a sudden thought. "See if you can call her, my dear Nick."

Random headcannon:

Alright so- the books state that tinman (Nick Chopper) lost his arm, then leg, then was split in 2 right?

And each time he lost a limb he got a tin prosthetic. Up untill he had to be remade of tin entirely anyways.

So-

Amputation is a thing that happens in oz,

I belive that the only reson his prosthetic limbs were made if tin was due to resources & he was probably afraid he'd accidentally chop his arm & leg again if they were wood.

And-

Once he became emperor of the winkies- if any of them needed prosthetics, they'd get them made in tin in honor of him.

It's finally peace in Oz! After all their adventures, this two can finally take a break ^^!

I love TinCrow a lot! Their so cute together, and I love the fact that it's technically canon. The brain with the heart X3, they complete each other so much!
