the purest shade of white ↪ okkotsu yuuta x reader ⸙͎。˚⋆ 𓋼
Tumblr media
summary: yuuta looks almost like an angel, you think to yourself grimly, as you shift on the balls of your feet. you haven't seen your best friend in a couple years now, not since he left for africa. too bad he's attempting to kill the kouhai that you're trying to protect.
tw: manga spoilers! anime watchers, do not read. mild angst but happy ending. starts at the beginning of ch. 139. naoya zenin is here and he is his classic asshole self. reader is in the same grade as yuuta, both in age and in terms of cursed energy. swearing because reader is a bad bitch. mildly suggestive. unironic use of "senpai" and "kouhai." slight descriptions of blood and injury, everyone is subjected to the author's attempts at writing dialogue and fight scenes. not proofread but at this point that shouldn't be a surprise. it is blatantly obvious that the writer also does not know how to end stories
notes: thank you for 100 new friends! :) poll is technically still up but i'm impatient and yuuta was winning by a pretty decent margin so here it is lol. divider by @/saradika-graphics!

"Yuuji!" you yelp, slicing the head off a curse with a clean stroke of your katana. Purple ichor splatters to the ground as you whirl, searching for the familiar head of pink hair. "Stay close to me!"
Behind you, Choso grunts with exertion, sending out another bolt of Piercing Blood. Panting, you weave through the curses, letting their corpses fall behind you. Yuuji, where is Yuuji?
As the last body falls, you can't but let out an exasperated huff at the sheepish grin on Yuuji's face. "Don't scare me like that," you chide. "How am I supposed to protect you if I can't even find you?" Yuuji opens his mouth to protest but you shake your head. "I made a promise," you tell him, pain rippling through your heart dully. Gojo-sensei was long gone, stolen away by one of the people he had loved most in the world. Grimacing, you sheathe your katana, mindful of the blood that stains your palms, as you try to ignore the memory of his words all those months ago.
If anything happens, I need you to protect Itadori Yuuji. I know they're going to pull something on him once I'm not there to back him up.
"Senpai, what should-"
Yuuji immediately tenses as your hand flies to the grip of your katana. "I smell a rat," you mutter, nose wrinkling as you turn to face Naoya Zenin, standing atop a bridge. He bares his teeth at you in semblance of a smile. "How perceptive as always," he mocks.
"Cut the bullshit," you snap, hand still resting on the pommel. "What do you want?"
"Fushiguro Megumi," is his rather bland response, and you shift your feet into the opening steps of Flowing River.
"What do you want with Fushiguro?" Yuuji yells, and the way Naoya's face twists makes you want to vomit.
"I think I'll have him die."
Cursed energy fills your body as you leap. Naoya's resounding cackle burns through your ears as you swing, barely grazing his shoulder. Before you can push forward off your feet, a heavy presence rests on your shoulders, locking you in place. All four of you freeze. Yuuji and Choso look horrified, and Naoya looks as though he's broken out into a cold sweat. But you know this feeling, feel it settle back into your body as if it never left.
Okkotsu Yuuta steps out from the building ledge, dark eyes unreadable. Your body sings. Yuuta, Yuuta, Yuuta! His hair has grown longer, bangs sweeping over his forehead, eyebags a little darker than they used to be. You can feel Rika's presence, swirling around you in a mass of death and decay. You're used to it. You've grown to crave it, even. His eyes meet yours, and for a split second, his facade cracks. Confusion, fear, and...regret?
Yuuta leaps, slamming into concrete and sending shockwaves deep into your bones. "Who's with Itadori?" God, even his voice is different, so different from the boy who said goodbye to you so long ago. You open your mouth to speak, but Choso beats you to it, brows furrowed.
"So you're Yuuji's executioner."
Blood turns to ice in your veins, and you can tell by the pained expression Yuuta has that you aren't hiding your emotions as well as you think you are. Naoya laughs. "I was going to tell you that, but you were being too emotional like the bitch you are."
"Who're you?"
Yuuta's voice is cold, but as Naoya babbles on, you can feel the horror settle thickly into your chest. Choso and Yuuji are talking behind you but it feels like you're underwater, you're sinking, drowning, and Yuuta must have come to a conclusion because all of a sudden he's surging forward-
You move before you can even think, steel clashing against steel. "Yuuji," you say, through gritted teeth. "Run."
A horrible grating noise fills the air as you let cursed energy flow through your body, shoving Yuuta's sword away from yourself. "I won't let you kill him," you hiss, body already shifting into Jagged Bolt. Yuuta's eyes flash as you surge forward, katana in hand.
"How would you describe my cursed technique?" you had asked Gojo, mindlessly swinging your feet. Gojo hums.
"Have you ever heard of Newton's Law's of Motion?"
You had crinkled your nose at that. "No?"
"An object in motion, stays in motion. Except you are the object. And your cursed energy is the motion." You remember how Gojo's lips curved slightly. "In other words, once you start, nobody can stop you."
You're crying, you realize with a start, as you cut a line into Yuuta's chest. Moisture seeps from your eyes as you twist your forearm into a parry, katanas sparking with each strike. Belatedly, you sense that Yuuji, your foolish, stupid, loyal kouhai has stayed, trading strikes with his fists between the precise movements of your blade. Your heart drops as Yuuta reaches for the ring on his finger.
No. No!
He twists it, and Rika appears behind you. Claws sink into your shoulder and you let out a cry of pain as she flips you into the ground.
"Be nice, Rika," Yuuta chides, as you hit the concrete. Blood spurts from your mouth as you choke, fingers clawing at the ground desperately for your katana. A piece of scaffolding is practically crushing your legs; instinctively, you know that if you try to break through it, you'll tear your limbs right off.
As Rika holds Yuuji up, you lunge desperately, uncaring of what you have to sacrifice. Inumaki's arm, the way half of Nobara's face had been practically ripped out of her skull, the remains of Nanami-san, the way that you were the one to find Maki's charred body-
I can't lose anyone else.
You scream as Yuuta pierces Yuuji's chest with his katana, cursed energy building in your legs as you prepare to shoot forward. Yuuta turns, eyes filled with an unidentifiable emotion as he sees you about to tear yourself in half just to reach Yuuji.
With a wave of his hand, Rika dives for you, and everything goes dark.
Yuuta had known you were special from the day he'd first met you. That spring, when Gojo-sensei had dropped him (and Rika) into a class of unsuspecting first years, he remembers that out of the four of them, you had moved so gracefully that he hadn't processed the katana in your hand until you'd pressed it against your throat.
"Gojo-sensei," you'd hissed. "What is this?"
While Maki, Inumaki, and Panda had been subsequently bruised up by Rika, you had dodged every single one of her movements until Rika had been (barely) called back by Yuuta.
"Another Special Grade," Gojo had hummed. "Just like you, hm?"
Special Grade?
What he hadn't realized then, he realized later; you weren't just special to him, but to the entire rest of the Jujutsu World as well. Special Grade Sorcerers were rare, Maki had told him. "You only have it because of Rika," she'd scoffed, "but she deserves it."
You quickly became one of his closest friends. You were fast enough to dodge Rika's ire, even laughing whenever she tried. You'd shown Yuuta kindness that he didn't think he deserved. You broke him out of his shell enough so that when he left for Africa, he felt as though he was standing with his own strength. His first katana had been the sister blade of your own, forged from the same metal by the same hands. The way your eyes had lit up when you saw it was a memory he cherished.
Somberly, Yuuta eyes the chains encasing your wrists and ankles, each decorated with the slips of protective paper that would nullify your cursed energy. Most sorcerers required only one. You required at least twenty.
He knows you, knows the way you always take the strawberry daifuku, leaving him the red bean ones even though he knows you prefer the red bean. He knows that you push yourself hard, harder than he's ever seen anyone work. But most of all, he knows your loyalty, how once your heart finally lets someone in, you'll never let them go.
Did you miss him like he missed you?
The chains are more for your own protection. He needs you to hear him out before you attempt to end his life for a second time. Yuuta knows now that Gojo must have asked you the same thing he'd asked him; to keep Itadori Yuji safe from the whims of the higher ups. Gojo, being the forgetful bastard he was, probably didn't alert you to the fact that he'd gone to Yuuta for help as well. Crouching, Yuuta eyes your body with a sad tilt of his lips. The injuries you'd sustained were immense, and it had taken quite a bit of his own cursed energy to reverse.
Will you forgive him?
You're asleep, breath hitching every so often. Yuuta wonders what you're dreaming of, before pushing the thought away. Tenderly, he cups your face in the palm of his hand, calloused fingers stroking your cheek.
"You need to wake up now," he murmurs, as your eyes flutter open, first in dazed confusion, before sharpening into panic.
"I'll miss you!" you'd cried, as you clung to Yuuta under the shade of the large oak. You were the first person he had told about his departure to Africa, and you took it hard. Yuuta had stood frozen as the first of your tears had dripped down your cheeks. It was the first time he'd seen you cry.
"I'll be back before you know it," he'd murmured, pressing a featherlight kiss to the top of your head. You'd looked up to him, eyes teary.
"Promise?"
"I promise," he'd said, interlocking his pinky with your own. A love like Yuuta's is a dangerous thing, you know, but in this moment you feel nothing but safe.
The first sensation you feel upon awakening is the dull ache in your (miraculously still attached) legs. The second is the warmth on your cheek. Yuuta is standing above you, hand gently resting against your face. Immediately you lunge forward, teeth bared. The rattle of chains stops you, and you swear. Of course he would have taken precautions. Yuuta looks almost hurt as you violently shake off his touch.
"Don't touch me, I swear to god I'm going to rip you apart."
Yuuta says your name sadly, but you're practically trembling with rage.
"He was just a kid, with the kind of power we wield, why the fuck would you listen to the higher ups?"
Yuuta echoes your name a bit more firmly, but you ignore him, tears building in your eyes.
"You're no better than the rest of them are you, you're just-"
"Senpai!"
Your heart stops as Yuuji pokes his head out from around the corner. They must have brought you back to Jujutsu Tech, you think distractedly. Just how long were you out?
"Yuuji!" you cry out, scanning his body for any injuries. He seems to be uninjured, but most importantly, he's alive. Tears fall down your cheeks. "Are you alright?"
Yuuji appears horrified by the sudden outburst as he hastily holds up his hands. "I'm fine, senpai, really, I'm sorry for worrying you. Okkotsu-san is actually on our side, I swear! It was a binding vow, that's why he had to actually kill me, but he did some really cool Reverse Technique shit and I'm all good now!"
Warily, you eye Yuuta, whose expression resembles that of a kicked puppy. "Okkotsu Yuuta," you say, voice hard. "Let me out of these chains right fucking now."
With a wave of his hand, the papers attached to the chains fall to the floor. Yuuta looks dejected as he looks away from you. "I'm so sor-"
Before he can finish you immediate tackle him into a hug, knocking the both of you into the floor as you bury your face into the soft slope of his neck. "You're such an idiot," you sob, unable to hide the rush of emotions going through you. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Tentatively, Yuuta wraps his arms around you, and you melt, pressing yourself closer to his body. "To be honest, I think Gojo-sensei is to blame. I think he forgot to mention to either of us that he asked us to do the exact same thing."
You let out a hiccupping laugh. "Of course he did. That forgetful asshole."
The sigh Yuuta lets out is shaky as he nuzzles the top of your head. "I'm so, so sorry," he tells you earnestly. "I must have scared you, and Rika's mad at me for making me hurt you like that. I think she likes you, even though she pretends not to."
You look up at him, really look at him, and see the look of adoration in his eyes as he stares back down at you. Thankfully Yuuji's escaped long ago, most likely understanding that you two would need privacy. "You came back," you whisper, and Yuuta's resulting smile makes your heart skip a beat.
"I promised you, didn't I?"
Before you can stop yourself, you pull Yuuta down for a searing kiss. He's so soft, and you nip at the plush of his bottom lip teasingly, pulling a whine from his throat. His large hands grip your hips, and in retaliation, you grab a fistful of his hair and tug. The breathy noise he makes goes straight between your thighs. You know he can feel your smile against his lips.
"I missed you," you breathe, pulling away. Yuuta looks dazed, lips kiss swollen, pupils so dilated that you can barely see the soft brown of his eyes.
"I love you," he blurts out, and your resulting laugh is airy as you press another chaste kiss to his lips.
"I've always loved you, Yuuta," you admit. "During Shibuya, I thought I wasn't going to make it. You were the only thing keeping me going."
The look in his eyes is fierce as he tugs you back into him, enveloping you in his arms. "You'll never have to worry about that again. You have my entire life. Where you go, I'll follow, and if I die, not even Death would be able to separate me from your side."
"Those sound a lot like wedding vows, don't you think?"
Yuuta's blush covers his entire face and you grin, pressing one last kiss to his lips. "Come on now. We have kids we need to protect."
As Yuuta leads you to where the others have convened, even under the dark circumstances you're in, the warmth of his hand clutching yours fills you with a giddiness you hadn't experienced in months. The sentiment is quickly dashed as soon as Maki opens her mouth.
"Fucking finally. Inumaki owes me 3,000 yen."

There’s nothing… wrong with being weak.
It isn’t a moral failing or anything to be ashamed of, it just is. For most people – normal people – that’s okay. They accept it, adjust their lives accordingly and move on.
The thing is, most people don’t actually need to be strong, not in the physical sense.
Most people aren’t jujutsu sorcerers.
Yuuta frowns, watching you laugh as Inumaki offers a hand to haul you up to your feet, brushing the dirt and grass of your skirt once you’re upright. Another sparring session that ends the exact same way all of them do; you, flat on your ass, wholly at the mercy of whichever of his friends is standing over you.
Problem is, they’re going easy on you; Maki leaving her left side wide open, Panda practically telegraphing his hits. Lately, he’s noticed it with Yuji and the other second years, too. It’s like an unwritten rule that they never go too hard, never push you too far. Trying to help you without hurting you in the process.
Because the simple, painful truth is, you aren’t strong enough to take it.
And believe it or not, he does get it… sort of. When Gojo dragged him into this he was petrified. Useless. He got thrown in the deep end, first first with Maki and then with Inumaki, and he had to figure it out fast, but… he also had Rika.
He also had his cursed technique.
Three years in, with graduation looming, you’re a step above a window. Still a grade four, although unlike with Maki it’s not some political, sexist bullshit keeping you there.
For right now, that’s okay. They’re your friends, none of them think any worse of you for it. They cover you on the missions you’re sent out on, and that’s not gonna change any time soon, but–
“Everything okay, Yuuta?”
He exhales a shuddering breath then straightens and turns your way with a smile. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. Are you?” he asks, idly toeing at a rock by his feet. Maybe you won’t notice the flush colouring his cheeks. “Looked like you hit the ground pretty hard back there.”
You laugh, waving it off like it’s no big deal, and to be fair it isn’t – you go through this multiple times a week, but that doesn’t mean it rankles him any less when you say, “Nothing I can’t handle. Toge was taking it easy on me.”
You don’t know the half of it.
“C’mon,” you tell him. “Panda says you’re up.”
Forty minutes later, breathless, aching and bruised all over, Yuuta shuffles with you and the others back to the dormitories to shower before eating when a familiar head of white hair pops into view.
“Yuuu-taa,” Gojo greets in a sing-song voice, altogether too happy for the group of exhausted, hungry students glaring back at him. “A word?”
Not remotely a request, considering he’s got an arm looped over Yuuta’s shoulders, steering him away from the rest of the group before he can get so much as a word out.
Leading him into an empty classroom well away from the dormitories, Gojo props himself up against one of the desks, leaving Yuuta to stand awkwardly in front of him, trying his best not to feel like a misbehaving child about to be lectured.
When he speaks, there’s no trace of levity left to soften the blow. “What happened?”
Gojo isn’t talking about the training session outside.
Yuuta swallows, stiffening. “It doesn’t matter, does it? You read the report. As long as she’s with me, Rika and I–”
“So you expect the higher ups to send you along on every mission she’s assigned?”
His cheeks flush again, this time with indignation. “They can’t send her alone! She’s not– she… ” Isn’t strong enough.
At his floundering, Gojo lets out a heavy, over-dramatic sigh, as if the weight of the world rests on his shoulders alone. “Yuuta, you’re a special grade. Do you really think they’ll let you play babysitter just because you have a crush?”
His heart squeezes, a thick lump lodging itself in his throat. He doesn’t deny it, there’s no point. Blindfolded or not, Gojo sees everything.
Not that his Sensei has room to talk about crushes.
“I don’t care, I’ll go anyway! I’m not letting her get hurt.”
“Special grade or not, you won’t be able to stop it,” Gojo tells him, a strange sort of smile teasing at his lips. “They’ll smell her coming a mile away, that inexperience, overconfidence. Such a weak, tasty little sorcerer. Easy pickings. She’ll draw them in like flies to honey, one after another, until there’s too many to fight all at once – that’s what happened last time, didn’t it? You lost focus.”
Yuuta stills entirely.
Gojo tugs at the bandages over his eyes, revealing one brilliant, blue iris. “She dies. That’s the only way this goes. You understand that, don’t you?”
It kills Yuuta that Gojo turns out to be right.
The body lying on the cold, metal table can barely be called that. Half a torso and a leg. That’s all he got back after getting rid of the curse.
“Okkotsu,” Ieiri’s calm voice breaks through his reverie, and he glances up to find her tired eyes boring into him from across the room. If he didn’t know better, he’d almost think she looked concerned.
“‘m fine,” he mumbles, letting his head tilt back to fall against the cool tiles. “I’m not the one who died.”
Ieiri opens her mouth, only to close it a moment later. “Of course.”
And so it goes. Inumaki, Panda and Maki hover, quiet and subdued. No one knows what to say, but none of them are surprised, he can tell that much through the thick, strained silence.
Death is pretty much a constant for them. Jujutsu sorcerers don’t tend to lead long, happy lives, but this isn’t just losing a classmate seven days out from graduation. A pang squeezes at his chest and he doesn’t bother holding back a heavy exhale.
“I’m tired. I’ll… catch you guys later, I guess.”
Yuuta doesn’t wait for an acknowledgement, turning on his heel and leaving them there outside the gym, staring uselessly after him.
But he doesn’t head back to his room. There’s nothing for him there.
No, Yuuta walks for a long, long while. Back to civilisation, to the city teeming with people and curses, each step more surefooted, eager than the last.
By the time he reaches the apartment, he’s pounding the pavement, and takes the stairs two at a time. His hand shakes as he slots the key into the first lock and twists, then the second, his heart’s halfway to his throat when he pushes it open, heading straight for the bedroom–
The knot in his chest loosens, a relieved sigh escaping him at the sight of you, spread out in his sheets in nothing but your underwear, fast asleep. Safe, where he left you.
It takes him no time at all to toe out of his sneakers, shed his jacket and climb up onto the bed next to you, mindful not to jostle you too much, not to disturb the thick metal links coiled loosely at the bottom of the mattress. Your eyes are still puffy, cheeks wet with the sheen of tears when his fingertips glide over them, intent on smoothing your hair back from your face.
Poor thing, you must’ve tired yourself out.
Yuuta has every intention of letting you sleep for a little while longer yet – he’d meant what he’d said to Maki and the others, there’s a bone tired weariness that’s been clinging to him since he dragged himself back to campus that morning, and it’s only now, here, lying next to you that he feels it start to leach away, like poison syphoned off.
A small, soft smile tugs at his lips.
Perfect, beautiful girl.
Gojo was right. You had to die. There aren’t enough sorcerers to deal with the increased curses plaguing the city. Weak or not, they would’ve kept sending you out, and he wouldn’t always be able to guarantee that he’d be there to protect you.
You had to die so they’d leave you alone. So that he could keep you safe.
Nestling closer, he thumbs at the curve of your cheekbone again and brushes a kiss against your lips, doing his best to ignore the hot pulse of want that burns through his blood, coiling tightly in his guts.
There’ll be plenty of time for that later. For now he just wants to lie here with you, safe and tucked away. Together.
It’s better this way. You’ll see.

Past Gojo x F!Yoriichi Reader? (He’s an absolute menace towards her at first, then he becomes clingy and obnoxiously annoying)
Reader became a First Year at the age of 14 when Gojo and Geto are 16 in their Second Year (They wanted to size up the ‘Newbie’)
Reader refused to train or take any missions and would always turn down Gojo every time he tried to pick a fight with her to see her strength (Because he can’t detect any Cursed Energy from her whatsoever, meaning she must be weak)
However Reader was forced to join Gojo and Geto during the Plasma Vessel Mission by the Higher Ups (As the Higher Ups threatened punishment on Yaga because he allowed her to get away with this *He was going to decline and take the punishment, but she agreed to take the mission because she didn’t want to burden her Foster Father with trouble after all that he’s done for her*)
This was actually the time where Gojo and Geto learn that Reader actually has a LOT of skill and talent (Their expressions are priceless when they see her kick someone’s ass in just a mere blur)
Reader gets along with Riko (As she likes hearing her talk) and even swears to protect Riko with her own life (Making Riko blush) as well as smack Geto and Gojo around when she saw them bully Rika
Reader prevented Riko from being assassinated (As she started combat with Toji, resulting in a rapid and devastating brawl between the two Superhumans, shocking Geto with their inhuman speed)
Reader is actually more efficient in combat and Exorcising Curses than her upperclassmen and even full fledged Sorcerers, even when she was just a mere child (However Yaga wanted Reader to have a childhood as long as he could possibly give her since he knows that despite his Daughter’s gift and talent in fighting, she doesn’t like fighting and dislikes violence, as she would rather prefer to spend time with her foster father Yaga than train)
Yaga was the first person to discover that Reader can’t use Cursed Energy (As in she doesn’t ANY), yet she can see Curses and even Cursed Energy (He finds that bizarre, yet he still takes Reader in as his own) She can see Cursed Spirits because of the Transparent World (And she has it constantly activated)
Yaga doesn’t mind Reader having pacifistic ideals and beliefs, the only problem is the Higher Ups won’t accept it after they find out about her gifts (Plus he knows his daughter will deal with sexism and inequality just because she was born a girl as well as her having no Cursed Energy)
Yaga found F!Yoriichi Reader when she was a child, and seeing she has no family and can see Curses he takes her in as his Daughter (He trains her at first, only to realize she as superhuman physical skills and prowess)
He thought she was deaf/mute because she never spoken a word from all the time he knew her until she was 14 (It was one of the few moments that made him do a double take)
When Gojo saw her smile she asked him to marry him (Yaga constantly smacks him yelling that his daughter is way to young!) but he’s persistent and keeps asking her
-You remember the day your adoptive father, Yaga, found you, all those years ago. The bodies of cursed spirits all around you, you drenched in blood, but none of it was your own.
-He couldn’t even begin to process how a child as young as you could have done this, even more so when he found out that you couldn’t use Cursed Energy, mainly because you had none!! How was this possible?!
-You never knew the answer yourself, you didn’t know how to explain it, despite having no Cursed Energy, you could see Curses and Cursed Energy, and all you knew that it was bad, so you attacked it whenever you saw it.
-Yaga was… almost intimidated by your skills, it was like you were born to be a warrior, your skills were unmatched, and you weren’t even properly trained!!
-He knew that you would be dealing with so much in your life, from being female, to having no Cursed Energy while being able to see and defeat Curses with ease, and your seemingly unnatural fighting skills.
-That’s why he did his best to try to give you a normal childhood, raising you with love and affection, showing you the good in the world, as he knew at one point the higher ups were going to find out about you.
-Yaga didn’t know how to explain your personality either, you were very stoic, with a rather intimidating RBF, but you were so gentle, you were a pacifist, you disliked fighting, despite being so good at it, and you enjoyed the moments away from training more, where you would sit with Yaga, and he would teach you new things, things about the world around you.
-Yaga had thought that you were mute for the longest time, as you had never said a word to him in the eight years you had been with him, until you turned fourteen. He knew how to communicate with you, and seemed to know what you were thinking or saying, but the first time you spoke, asking you what you wanted for dinner, “Can we go for ramen?” he had nearly tripped over his feet, turning to you in shock, hearing your voice for the first time, while you didn’t look bothered in the slightest!!
-When the higher-ups did finally find out about you, and found about how you refused to take missions, they threatened your father, and not wanting him to risk his own position, you agreed to go on an important mission, with the two thorns in your side, Geto and Gojo, your upperclassmen.
-You were the only underclassman, which made them pick on you anyway, but to hear about your unnatural strength paired with having no Cursed Energy, they were curious on how strong you were.
-Gojo was such a gremlin, constantly trying to tease you and pick on you, trying to goad you into a fight, as he wanted to test if you were really as strong as Yaga said, but you would always refuse, taking the pacifist route.
-You didn’t care what they said about you, calling you a coward, which only infuriated Gojo more, as he wanted you to acknowledge him picking on you!!
-When you joined them on the Plasma Vessel Mission, you hadn’t been expecting to meet someone like Rika, she was so warm, and while she was initially scared of you, due to your intimidating aura, she realized that you were a nice person.
-You were quite protective of Rika, protecting her from Geto and Gojo picking on her, and while none of you realized it at first, you were bonding with them, growing closer to them.
-It was when Toji attacked that they all got to see firsthand your skills, as you drew your own blade against Toji. Geto’s mouth fell open as he was protecting Rika, while Gojo was staring, wide-eyed, seeing you going toe-to-toe with Toji, a skilled sorcerer and warrior, and you were handling your own!!
-Toji was impressed, seeing someone so young, especially a girl, was handling him so easily, but when he told you this, your voice was icy, “My gender doesn’t define my strength.”
-After the battle and after thousands in property damage, you were able to walk away with only minor wounds, but you froze, looking quite panicked for once, when Rika leapt into your arms, sobbing loudly as she had been worried about you.
-After you were patched up, you found Rika, Gojo, Geto, and Yaga together, talking about what had happened with Toji, and as soon as you walked in, Gojo approached you and took your hands, clasping them between his own, “Marry me Y/N!”
-Yaga was quick to punch Gojo on the top of his head, making him let you go, “Get away from my daughter!!”
-This did little to deter Gojo, in fact it only seemed to spurn him on to try harder. You couldn’t recall a day when he didn’t ask for your hand in marriage.
-You were a little confused as to why he wanted to marry you, you had no Cursed Energy, while he was regarded as the pinnacle of sorcerers. All you knew that Yaga was probably going to kill him if he didn’t leave you alone and stop asking you!
-Geto remained silent when he saw the smallest of smiles on your lips, as you watched Yaga chasing Gojo while yelling at him, you looked so happy at that moment.

How would JJK characters react when you smack their cake?

I had to ask a friend of mine for help to research what "smack their cake" means, lol
I don't know if what I wrote is exactly what is in the request, since my native language is Portuguese and not English.
So I hope that's really what I wrote.
AND PLEASE, if something is written wrong, my English isn't very good these days and I needed the translator's help, so I ask you to ignore it.
I hope you like it ;)

Suguru Geto
He would be a little uncomfortable being caught off guard, like, it's not normal for someone to slap your ass out of nowhere while you're walking down the street distracted.
Geto would turn to look at your face, in disbelief as he places his hand on the spot abused by your hand.
He would automatically have an existential crisis, but in the end, he would end up returning the slap.
Satoru Gojo
You forced Gojo to cook dinner while you showered and changed into comfortable clothes after your last mission. But when you walked past the room and saw Gojo on his back washing the dishes... you lost all your control and slapped Gojo's ass. The man knew you were approaching him from behind, but he didn't imagine you would hit his ass, making him take a few seconds to understand why his ass was burning.
When his system (his brain lol) kicks back in, he'd smirk and say, "Equal rights."
Now you were both sore, but he went harder on you.
Megumi Fushiguro
I don't see Megumi being comfortable with this, like, even if you're his girlfriend, I think it would be a little uncomfortable for him. If you were in a public place, he would be 100% sulky (looking like a 5 year old) and would be annoyed that you embarrassed him. If you were in a more private place, he would still be uncomfortable but it would be much less so than in public.
In both scenarios, you would have to go and apologize to him and after lots of kisses and affection, he would accept your apology and ask you to never do that again.
Yuji Itadori
There's no way around it, this boy would literally return the slap twice as hard as you imagined. If you had the freedom to spank his ass, he had that freedom too, right? But you didn't think he would hit you so hard, like... you could swear his handprint was left on your skin. No matter if you were in a public or private place, you would receive instant karma from Yuji.
Sukuna would be disgusted by the actions of the two of you. "How did humans become so disgusting to this level?" It would be one of the doubts that would cross Ryomen's mind.
Kento Nanami
If you did that in public, he might be uncomfortable and ask you not to do that again, not when there are people around. In private, he would probably let you spank his ass to see his smile, but he wouldn't feel good if it became recurrent.
Long talk about this, lol.
Yuta Okkotsu
Okay, this boy would panic. First he would think he had done something wrong to receive a slap from you, but then he would notice your laugh and his penny would drop and his cheeks would automatically turn red. (Rika probably wouldn't be happy about that lol)
He would never, I repeat, NEVER slap you back, he would never lay a finger on you, regardless if it was a joke or not. But he likes to see you happy, so he would do anything to see you smile.
Toji Fushiguro
Depending on his mood, he would just return the slap, or he would simply take it as an invitation for the two of you to be alone and automatically take you to the first room he found. But if you prefer the second option, know that you'll probably get more slaps than bread dough or something.

Thoughts on JJK chapter 269 (spoilers)
Tumblr media
(TCB still doesn't have their own translation but some parts of this need to be cross checked with more translations. I'll do that tomorrow.)
We start the chapter with an ominous flashback that brings Mei Mei to an old woman before we make a hard cut back to where we left off last chapter
To my pleased surprise Yuta managed to get his body back though truth be told I did NOT understand the minute details on how that happened. Need to read up on that.
Megumi still feels the aftereffects of Gojo's UV that had crippled Sukuna's DE. This could mean Megumi himself will have trouble expanding his domain but would that be a short term problem or possibly even a long term problem 👀
(Way back when, I had also made a speculative post that Gojo's UV that hit Megumi's soul might've left Megumi with Gojo's ultimate knowledge from all his life but that doesn't seem to be a thing in the end.)
Tumblr media
The first years are told not to feel guilty about anything and to be teenagers again. This echoes what Gojo said in the beginning on how children should be able to enjoy the spring of their youth.
Tumblr media
We learn then how Yuta survived: because of Rika who independently kept his body alive. When Kenjaku's CT burned out after Yuta used Gojo's DE, he should've died because he couldn't keep the connection to Gojo's body.
Kenjaku shouldve had the same problems but they speculate that he circumvented that with barrier techniques.
Now comes the part where I need better translations because what's said here is too confusing: which CT recovered and was Yuta now dead or unconscious when Kenjaku's CT burned out?
The next question is: how did his consciousness end up back in his body? All this time I thought Kenjaku transferred his entire brain from body to body but that's not the case apparently? 😄
Also, the biggest question right now: what happened to Gojo's body?
I made a speculative post on how this body hopping through Kenjaku's CT might actually end up reviving Gojo.
The main point for that theory is that Kenjaku revives the bodies he transfers into. Second and third points are that the revival is a one time thing and isn't bound to the continuous use of the CT (speculation) and that Yuta "dies" through the end of the CT and through other means
Tumblr media
Say what you will but this about Miguel and Larue was extremely funny but also give Larue some respect, Sukuna was in love with him for a few seconds.
The part where everyone discusses their battle strategies is interesting. Gege does sth here I have done while writing fanfics as well: acknowledging how varied and complicated the choices in the plot where and have the characters discuss it.
This gives the chain of events that did end up happening in the end a grounded feel and here it also gives the characters room to interact with each other.
My complaint about these scenes are that they downplay Sukuna's threat and power
Talking about what they should've done differently and how they could've won more easily is ok, but for me this entire conversation was too couched in "we won because of course we did, this was easy but it could've been easier"
Higuruma is alive though but I had that on my bingo card already, his apparent death was pretty vague
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's a funny reveal how the watch room was Rika this entire time, and apparently Yuta/Maki is basically canon
We also learn that it was indeed Miwa who clung to Maki and used Simple Domain against Sukuna to stop his MS. Todo managed to get her and Maki out with his CT at the end.
Without Ui Ui the battle would've been lost, so he really is the MVP
Tumblr media
Now comes the part about the New Shadow Style: Simple Domain that was interesting but also added unneeded elements into the story this late in the manga
Some parts of this was mentioned previously like how you made a Binding Vow to learn NSS. There was a woman in a wheelchair once that resembled Miwa in parts who was probably one of those people who's lifespan was sapped away by the Shadow Head.
But did we really need to give this so much panel time? I guess with the mention of Tengen (who was apparently the one who told the good guys who the Shadow Head was) we'll go back to what happened to her and the merger in the next chapter.
Tumblr media
What we also got was commentary on how JJ society hindered itself from becoming better because of the greed of people who wanted more power.
Mei Mei speaks of sorcerers who could've survived with Simple Domain and she probably means Nanami. Their stories in Shibuya acted like foils to each other (without that or them being in conflict with each though) so it's relevant to Nanami what she said here.
Overall I think some parts of this chapter should've been cut so close to the finish, especially when this really is the end of the manga. I still have hope for Part 2 though, this chapter was (as I expected) ambiguous about that happening or not.

family amidst sorcery — drabble, fluff, angst in the end if you squint because jjk manga :')
gojo satoru x fem!reader
not proof read
w/c : 500-ish?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nobody says anything, but it is an established fact that Megumi has turned into Satoru's child courtesy of you. It was something that Satoru had never planned. He couldn’t imagine himself as a good parental figure for anyone.
If you asked anyone who had known Gojo Satoru since high school, they would all pray for the child who was unfortunate to fall under Satoru’s surveillance.
Honestly, Satoru swore that he would never deal with children because they are annoying and have been permanently scarred since the Rika Amanai Incident, but ever since you crash-landed in his life...You are adopting kids left and right. Megumi? Yuuji? Nobara? All your children.
Nobody was safe from your sight. Even the second years had become your children. You had the tendency to treat everyone like children and tend to them. In short, you were complete of Satoru.
Yuuji and Nobara wanted steak? Done. Taking students on a vacation after rough missions? You coaxed Satoru into agreeing. He had to admit that he had grown fond of this little sorcerer family you and him had built. It was unironically, his place of solace and happiness.
Everyone had their humorous moments with you two as their guardians, especially Megumi who terms Satoru as his benefactor has his slip-ups and he ends up referring to him as 'dad.'
"You think of me as a father figure, Megumi?" Satoru's tone brightened up like a flashlight and he dramatically placed a hand on his chest, appearing touched by Megumi's words. Which he was, actually.
It reassured him that he wasn't as bad of a guardian as he had originally thought.
"What? You? As my father figure? You are much more of a bother figure." Megumi did a double take and quickly got defensive, yet one could see his cheekbones and earlobes pink up in embarrassment. You and Satoru chuckled at the sight of him grumbling.
"I am glad my ears are sharp otherwise I wouldn't have caught that." Satoru smiled and ruffled Megumi's hair. He had the tendency to do that. If you are shorter than Gojo Satoru, he would ultimately pat and or ruffle your hair which happens a lot since in most cases, you are shorter.
"You are hearing things, old man." Megumi sighed and was about to leave before you called him. "Hey! 'gumi! Don't go without eating."
He turned around and returned to indulge in the meal you had cooked for him as you and Satoru hung around the kitchen counters. The food was like a warm hug for him. A soft smile threatened to creep onto his face but he suppressed it.
After finishing, he got up and looked at you before saying, "Thank you. I appreciate it." There was a brief smile on his face which soon faded away as he made his way towards the door.
"Did you see that? Megumi can smile!" Satoru marvelled.
"Of course, he can, dummy!" You retorted.
He quietly chuckled before exiting to go and regroup with Yuuji and Nobara.
Needless to say, Megumi is too prideful to admit that he enjoys this found family, you three had created amidst the chaos of the jujutsu world where death was around the corner each day.
It was nice. Too nice. It was only a matter of time till this short-lived moment would be shattered.

List of things that point towards Gojo Satoru & Geto Suguru being kissers of boys with connections to eachother
(If they did kiss though is another story)
Note: the list will be divided into different sections with space in between. So don't go speed scrolling through if you don't want spoilers. :"3
Some of these are less serious, but are still included because all the more content for these two sillies.
--- Last updated: April 26th, 2024 Note: Make sure to check the original post if viewing a reblog version in case Tumblr does not update things under the "read more" like it used to be able to.
Various
572. This number is used frequently as a ship number for the two as "GoGe" the ship name can also be produced as "GoNatsu". Go means 5 and the rest sound similar to 72. These numbers ironically show up accross the series a few times and also in official merch. (Some examples being a clock in season 2 episode 1 stopped at 5 hours 7 minutes 20 seconds or a Gojo teddy bear priced at ¥57,200)
JJK official fanbook
"Q: Please tell us his first impression when he first met Geto. A: Bangs."
"Q: He seems to be aware that he is handsome, but doesn't he want a lover? A: I can't imagine Gojo being faithful to a particular woman."
"Q: Is there anything you are particular about Geto's character design? A: Bangs"
One of Gojo's songs & one of Geto's songs given to them. "Shame on you" by "Avicii" (a break up song) for Gojo and "Come back Home" by "Two door cinema club" for Geto. Stated in volume 3 chapter 24.
The sheer amount of times Geto shows up in MMVs for Gojo and how they display the impact Geto had on Gojo (For example, the latest MMV for volume 26's release)

The purple ones (Located on table in the part where older Gojo is sitting in a chair by a window) are possibly Primula/Primrose flowers. They can represent young love, beauty, desire, desperate, and can be a symbol of spring and renewal/new beginnings. etc.
The yellow ones (Located in the part where Gojo & Geto are sitting together with their hands & cans of soda surrounded by the flowers) are possibly osmanthus flowers. They can represent love, passion, happiness, beauty, etc.

Despite the following about Geto's state, Geto's body still instinctively reacted to stop Kenjaku from hurting Gojo.
"Q: Fake Geto's arm was moving during the Shibuya Incident, but how much of Geto's consciousness remains in the body? A: Not much. He was moving like how a dragonfly whose neck was torn off can move."
Fun fact: Some owls pair/bond for life (Whether the owl is supposed to be Geto's because Kenjaku is using Geto at the time or it's not Geto's animal because that is Kenjaku is up to you)

Volume 26
The Camilla flowers with snow. Not only do they represent Gojo well with their meaning, including one meaning being unchanging/strong love alongside modest love / beauty for pink, but flowers are given to different dates. The birth flower of February is this flower, said to bloom on the 3rd of this month. Aka Geto's birthday.
Tumblr media
Chapter 236
Gojo actively chose to fight on December 24th (a day considered romantic for Japan) which is now the day both Geto and him have died on. Even Kenjaku acknowledges the days significance with
"Ha ha! How romantic. Isn't it gross to make plans with each other on Christmas eve?"
These lines
Tumblr media
Both Gojo & Geto's volumes' numbers can have bad meanings in Japan. 4 can mean death & 9 can mean to suffer/agony. (I put this under volume 26's section because of the spoiler)
---
There's likely more, but this is what we could think of right now. XD If you have anything you want to add on, feel free to send it my way because the more help the better & easier this is. (^w^ ) Same for any corrections to the list (as it's just me writing up this post and I may make slip ups)

「 A FALLEN MIRACLE 」
Tumblr media
ღ okkotsu yuta x gn. reader — wc. 2.5k
synopsis: never did he think that he would have to say goodbye so soon. not like this...
Tumblr media
After losing Rika, Yuta felt his life crash down on him like a pile of bricks. And since then, he approached everything and anyone with a sense of caution. After all that he had been through his entire life, who could blame him?
Even so, Yuta still genuinely cared about people, and he especially found himself being increasingly attracted to you.
When Yuta was taken to Jujutsu Tech, you, also a first-year student, were initially asked by Gojo to mentor him and just generally help him get through life. You wondered why it was you, but when you looked back at it, and also at the rest of your classmates… it’s no wonder. There weren't exactly a plethora of options to begin with.
It was the option between a talking, horny panda, a boy who could hardly even communication, if you could even call it talking through the phrases of onigiri ingredients “communication,” and a girl with borderline anger issues.
You never had a choice on the subject—not while Gojo was at the helm—but that was beside the point. Your friendship with Yuta started off rough. He was a timid young boy constantly struggling to find his voice, quite literally. There was nothing he would say no to, and even less if that order came from you.
But over time, that awkwardness slowly morphed into something of a true friendship. A sort of bond forged in the trust you built for him, with a connection that grew stronger with each passing day. Up until then, at nearly any point of the day, wherever and whatever you were doing, you would have another figure following you wherever you went. It was to the point where everybody knew of Yuta’s undeniable infatuation with you. It was indeed a surprise to even the likes of Gojo. Well, it wasn’t like Yuta was particularly known for hiding his feelings.
Yuta admired you so much. You had nerves of complete steel. You were confident, resilient, and strong. And above all that, you were selfless. You would, without a second thought, put yourself at risk rather than allow any of your fellow sorcerers and friends to get hurt.
But that would be your biggest weakness.
What all of the first-years expected to be a simple mission to exorcize a single rouge cursed spirit that was terrorizing the townspeople, turned into a complete and utter nightmare. One that no one would’ve ever expected.
And especially not to someone so young…
It all started off lighthearted. The first-years, you, Maki, Toge, Panda, and Yuta, walked along the path where the cursed spirit was said to be, or at the very least around the area.
“Maybe we should split up,” Maki ordered when, by that point, they had been walking around for 30 minutes, and yet there was no sight of any spirits.
“I agree,” you nodded.
Maki placed her hand over her hips, looking over the others as she unofficially took the handle of the leader. “So, as for who gets paired with who, how about—”
“Yuta and [Y/n] should be together!” Panda piped in with a ginormous grin, shoving Maki to the side with his body.
“Why, you…” Maki scowled. If looks could kill, Panda would be flying off the face of the earth.
Ignoring the fire that was burning from Maki, the panda then slung his arm around Yuta’s shoulders, musing, “Yuta and [Y/n] would make a good team, especially when paired with their techniques. Besides, they’ve gone on missions together plenty of times. It’s a no-brainer! Right, Yuta~?”
It was painfully obvious what Panda was trying to get at. And unfortunately for Yuta, Panda hit the exact nail on the head.
The poor boy gaped, scampering with his words, only managing to find a couple that he could even say out loud. “I-I mean… I’m okay with it.”
Ignoring the blatant ear-piercing noise happening around you, you nodded your head. “Me too.”
And there it was, the two of you together, walking side by side. You had your hands clasped together behind your back, humming to a tune that Yuta was all too familiar with, having practically been attached to your hip since getting to know you.
Yuta clutched his katana tightly against his chest. It was embarrassing enough that Panda had brought up the topic, but now there was even more pressure to prove himself to you.
“…Argh!?” Yuta’s foot almost slipped as you suddenly paused right in front of him. “[Y/n]?!” he sputtered, taking a frantic step back to put some distance between you two.
“Yuta~,” you mused. “I thought we were closer than that. Don’t tell me that I was the only one feeling this way?”
Yuta’s cheeks went red. “I, uh…”
“Haha, I’m just kidding around. I hoped that would lighten the mood. But I guess I was mistaken. Sorry about scaring you. Are you alright?” Your foot inched ever closer to his flushed face, pressing him into an undeniable blush.
His mouth was agape. “I-I-I!?”
“C’mon, let's go,” you hummed, already beginning to walk off, leaving Yuta speechless.
“Ah… r-right!”
And it didn’t take long, as just as you two were walking along a new set of pathways, and Yuta hesitated but quickly scurried beside you.
Before long, your footsteps were opposed to the ground, suspiciously cranking your eyes to the alleyway next to your two and narrowing your eyes at the dark alleyway. Though it appeared barren without a soul in sight, what you were sensing was anything but.
Yuta, now with his hand over the sheath of his katana, took a cautious step closer to wherever the obscurity was in that alleyway, feeling the chills.
“Hey, guess today is our lucky day, huh?” you grinned, readying your weapons.
He meekly nodded. “Yeah.” Yuta tightened the grip on the handle of his katana. Looking upward, something was floating in the air—a second-grade cursed spirit—and just as lucky, it was precisely the one they had been looking for. Though the darkness of the alleyway hindered his sight, its size and presence were easily distinguishable.
“Let's bring this one down together.”
But just as those words left your mouth, another strong presence came from right behind you.
You clicked your tongue. “Another one? That wasn’t what they mentioned to us earlier.”
Yuta looked side to side, and then back at you, but you weren’t panicked at all. In fact, far from it. “Yuta, you handle that one over there. I’ve got this one.”
“R-Right!”
He trusted you.
Side by side, you both covered each other's backs. And it didn’t take long for blood to be shed. Nasty welts and bruises spread across the cursed spirit's body, and with a swift swipe, you finished it off with your cursed technique with ease. Horrifying screams of agony blasted through the sound barriers of both the student's eardrums from the curse as it flopped onto the bloodied ground, dead in its state.
“Phew.”
You turned your head, seeing that the cursed spirit was also just as still, lying lifeless beside Yuta as he speechlessly sent you a grimace.
“Good work,” you nodded. You wiped away the blood that was on your cheek. “Hah… well, guess that's it.”
Yuta meekly nodded his head, wiping down the blood from his katana.
“Yuta, how's it going over ther—” your head turned.
A shadow had appeared from below to loom over right over him.
 “Y-Yuta!”
It wasn’t dead.
“Yuta! Get out of the way!”
“H-Huh?” Just as everything was cooling down, he thought, Yuta heard a voice coming from his right, and then another.
With one glance thrown the other way, he was shoved to the ground, giving him full access to the horror he would see next.
In just a second, blood poured from your throat and splattered to the ground. A cursed spirit had gotten after him, and yet it was you who was now collapsed onto the ground, holding onto dear life.
Yuta’s eyes went bloodshot red, and with his katana, immediately went for it, stabbing it. He looked on in terror as he saw your entire body slashed and crimson fluid dripping from all ends. Your trembling mouth was trying to say something.
“Huh? W-What is it…?” he shook, stumbling over his words. Yuta knelt and tried to place his ear close by.
But instead, you puked blood, and Yuta was forced to watch as the light in your eyes slowly dipped and your heartbeat fell.
“I-I can’t stop the bleeding…!”
Yuta was on the verge of tears as he embraced you in his arms, fearing for your life. You could feel the warmth of your blood leaving you and dipping onto the cold, concrete ground. The sticky consistency of the crimson liquid became thicker. Your body grew colder by the second.
“Yuta…”
“…!”
“Are you... all right?” you managed to cough up.
His face paled. “Why… Of all the times to worry about me!?” His grip tightened, making you gasp.
“...”
You could feel his embrace around you tighten with desperation. His body shook from fear, possibly despair. It was all just a dream, right…?
“...Why would you try and save me like that…?!” “I told you! I’m fine getting hurt! But…! But why did you—?!”
Unable to utter a word, you replied to his question with the voice in your heart, and, just barely, with a smile. And perhaps, your final one. ‘My feelings for you will always be the same. Even if we were to turn back the clock. Even if you told me not to save you. I still would have done it…’
“...”
“What…? I can’t hear.”
“I’m glad… you’re safe.”
His lungs filled with air, his voice trembling with anguish, heartache far worse than just emotion, pure sorrow, knowing that the time you left remaining would be taken away at any point. “How can you be glad!? You promised! Y-You promised that—” he broke the flow of his words, knowing that it wasn’t the right time.
You slowly let out a breath of relief. You didn’t feel any pain now.
“No… please… Please don't leave me,” he choked.
You had never loved him as much as you did in this very moment as he held onto you, pressing deeply onto your wound, hoping that it would do something, anything. Because if it hurt, it meant that you were still reactive. But even he knew. There was no chance.
You wanted to dry the tears that spilled down his cheeks, but you couldn't move your hand. It was like your body was no longer your own. The body that you once operated was no longer in your control.
Instead of words, your mouth involuntarily vomited more blood. Your trembling hand cupped Yuta’s soft, youthful cheeks—the same youth you wanted to keep alive, all so that you could see him smile.
You were just a mere friend to him. Someone who was acquainted to care for him in a world that was so unforgiving. So why—why was he looking at you with such sad eyes? Eyes filled with terror that you’d leave at any moment.
And perhaps you would.
There were so many things you wanted to tell him, but you couldn't move your lips, nor could you find the strength to.
“Save your energy, please!!” he pleaded with you, begging for you to just wait. Just a bit longer...
“I’ll—”
Abruptly, he felt a tug on his sleeve.
‘I want to live, and… I want you to live, too…’
You whispered your last wish inside your heart, knowingly, that he would never be able to hear it. But maybe, just maybe, understood it.
Tears trickled down from one face to the other, dribbling onto the increasingly pale and bloody face of the only person who ever took care of him.
Yuta cried. Just like he would always do. Whenever he cried, he would ball his eyes out, but the one who always calmed the storm was you. His eyes caught sight of tears falling down your face. It was the first time he had ever seen you cry. It was so foreign. It was beautiful, and it was dying.
You were his miracle. But that miracle of his was dying, and there was nothing he could do.
With everything that your throat could muster, you whispered one last time, “Everything is going to be okay…”
And then those pupils were closed forever.
And just as slowly, light reflections from Yuta’s irises disappeared. Yuta stood back up, still. He eyed the cursed spirit. That thing.
The pain that thing did to you, he would avenge that, tenfold.
“...Rika,” he muttered. “Kill it.”
Rage engulfed him. Alive or not, he wanted to make it suffer, along with everything else in his vicinity. Why should they deserve mercy when you didn't receive any?
That one mistake from him cost him everything. It was all his fault.
Again. Again. Again.
“.....”
“Okkotsu!”
“.....”
‘Die, die. Die die die die die—’
“Oi! Okkotsu Yuta! Snap out of it!”
Only when he felt the grip of Maki grabbing onto his collar and lifting him in the air with an expression of fury did he finally snap out of it.
And he regretted it.
“...What—” he scampered, finally turning his head to face what happened. What he did. “What is this?”
Maki clicked her tongue. “What do you think?”
He knew what he did… Whether he wanted to or not, he did exactly the thing you despised… using his power for harm—not good.
Shit…
Regret flooded him. You would hate him. You wouldn’t want this. This wasn’t what you stood for. But, at that moment, all he could think about was the pain he caused you.
He wasn’t a good person. Hell, he shouldn’t even be considered a person if he couldn’t even save the one person who brought such joy in his life—even if that was just a couple of months. Yuta, in his mind of delusion, had unintentionally called out her name and, with it, killed the cursed spirit in that instant.
But that didn’t bring you back. Nothing could ever bring you back.
Within moments, he ran up to your body, collapsing to his feet and gathering you in his arms. Your head rested on his chest, and he kept on shaking you back and forth.
“[Y/n]... [Y/n], please.”
But that didn’t work. Everything felt cold. Nothing—not even his words would ever work.
His hand pressed on the gash with all his might—anything that his shaky, now bloody hands could do. Yuta peered back and forth, from the wound back to your pale face, hoping that, somehow, his efforts would arouse a reaction from you. If it hurt, it meant you were still conscious. It told him you were still alive.
But Maki, who had just seen the aftermath, clenched her fists as everything unfolded before her very eyes. She already knew, and perhaps, even Yuta himself already knew, but refused to admit it. It was too late to save you.
“You promised…”
That promise was desolate.
“You promised that you would be by my side…”
The only fulfilled promise would be to follow the coffin with you in it.

Unconventional Flowers Event - March
Birthday Chrysanthemums ft Yuta
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: March prompt for my Unconventional Flowers Event. And a belated happy birthday to Yuta! All images have been credited at the bottom of the post. Hope you like it @sehunaeri.
Rating: E, fluffy
Pairing: Yuta x reader
Word Count: 933
Tumblr media
Yuta awakens abruptly, swearing he felt a breeze rush over him only to see the curtains still closed, hazy streaks of sunlight flowing through the window.
He blinks, trying to come back to reality, staring at the white ceiling of his dorm room, before stretching and yawning widely. He sits up, then pauses as he sees a small bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums set on his study table. Curious, he reaches out and pulls a card from between the stems.
Happy birthday Yuta! Yellow for the cutest fellow! Anyway, if you want to find out who sent these, just crack the clues!Clue 1: Where students learn to control cursed energy, seek the first clue underneath the oldest tree in the courtyard.
Yuta feels a slight flush creep into his face as he reads the first line, a grin spreading across his face as he finishes reading the rest of the card. A secret admirer on his birthday?
He quickly gets ready for the day and heads out of his dorm, card in hand. This was a relatively easy clue, and as he walked into the main courtyard, his eyes quickly scanned the ancient tree that was rumored to have been the focal point around which the high school was built. The enormous oak tree stood proudly, its trunk thick and knotted, branches spreading out to form a lush canopy. Wandering in circles around the tree, he spied another brightly colored chrysanthemum, orange this time, tucked away neatly in one of the high branches. Yuta pauses for a second, looking around to see if anything could help him reach the tall branch but nothing is within sight.
He sighs. He’s never been much of a tree climber but here goes nothing…He hesitantly hops to grab one of the lower branches and pull himself up. He’s never gotten over his fear of heights and keeps his eyes trained upwards, focusing on the little bloom following branch after branch, until he reaches out a slightly shaky hand to grab it.
“Well whoever it is can climb trees…good to know…” he mutters to himself as he balances himself on the branches and quickly reads the second clue.
Clue 2: Amongst the relics of the past, search for the classroom where disasters were forecast.
Yuta carefully puts the flower and the note into his pocket and awkwardly shimmies down the tree, feet uncertainly probing the space below him for assurance of a branch until he’s safely back on the ground. He peruses the note again.
“Disasters were forecast…in the past…” He remembers the past year and the events of the Night Parade…Didn’t Gojo collect them all in a classroom to inform them what to expect before sending them off?
He finds the classroom and enters it, feeling an odd wave of nostalgia overtake him. Had it really been more than a year ago that he’d stood in this classroom, scared, unable to let go of Rika, and doubting his sorcerer abilities? He finds himself marveling at his own growth as he wanders around the empty classroom, running a finger over the desks as he walks. It doesn’t take him long to find a pink flower hidden away in one of the desks and the accompanying clue.
Clue 3: Beneath the celestial glow, find the place where the protection barriers flow.
Yuta ponders on the clue. The obvious answer here would be Tengen’s barrier but to access that…
It takes him a good while to find the entrance, and it’s well past noon when he does. When he finally gets to the elevator, he’s surprised and relieved to find the next chrysanthemum taped to the corner, violet this time. Despite his enthusiasm to get to the end, hunger was chipping away at his interest.
Clue 4: So close to the end, go to the place where people meet their friends
Strong instinct tells him it’s going to be near the vending machines and he hopes he’s right as he trudges towards them, the walk quite long from Tengen’s elevator. As he approaches them, the shade from the building soothing after walking in the sun, he sees a red chrysanthemum stuck to the side of one of the vending machines. He takes it, and reads the final note.
Turn around.
Your presence is quietly announced as he turns around, his eyes glittering as he finally sees who it is.
“Y/n!”
You smile at his slightly disheveled appearance from running around all day. “Yeah. Me. I hope you didn’t mind the little treasure hunt I orchestrated.”
He approaches you, a smile breaking out on his own face, the red chrysanthemum in hand.
“I take it you kept all the flowers?”
“Yes, of course!’ Yuta fiddles in his pockets to pull out the rest of the blooms.
“Well, let me explain then.” You tap each flower as you speak. “Yellow for happiness, and I hope you always have it. Orange for excitement because I hope your life is never boring. Pink for friendship, because you deserve people who support you. Violet for thoughtfulness because you are so considerate to those around you.”
You pause as you touch the red one. “And red for love.” You look into his eyes, blushing slightly but determined to get your point across. “Because I have feelings for you.”
Yuta’s face mimics yours, blushing crimson, and he chuckles softly. “Wow y/n. I’ve never had anyone confess to me before.”
“Happy birthday,” you say softly. He responds by pulling you into a hug, and you embrace him back, knowing this was the start of something special.

JJK 251 delivered one of the most intense fights till now, and honestly, I can't wait to see it animated! (if I'm still alive 10 years from now, that is lol).
That said, I need to write a little about this chapter because it has been eating me out since Thursday, and the HQ scan release is MAGNIFICENT. So let’s go!
Yuta used Cleave on Sukuna!
But, alas, he wasn’t the one to eat Sukuna’s finger. It was prolly Rika.
Tumblr media
I don’t think anyone would think it makes sense that Yuta - second only to Gojo, the strongest modern sorcerer  - could be the one to eat the King of Curse’s finger. While he IS powerful, it is still so risky to think he could ingest a piece of Sukuna’s soul and keep it inside himself for God knows how long.
Also, if a human had eaten one of his fingers, it seems a bit unlikely Sukuna wouldn’t have noticed somehow, as the cursed object holds a part of his very soul.
On the other hand, Rika hasn’t fully manifested. It seems an odd thing since this battle is even more dangerous and important than all previous battles Yuta had since his 2vs1 with Geto. Which may be just a wild speculation, but that has me thinking that maybe - just maybe - he hasn’t allowed her to fully manifest because she ate the finger. Like with the finger bearers at the beginning of the manga, Sukuna would know it is there, and he could target Rika more fiercely. Perhaps get to even retrieve it.
But this is speculation only - and I hope we will be sure of it in the next chapters.
It’s good to remember tho that it was Rika who ate Uro’s arm, not Yuta. And I doubt Yuta himself could have also eaten Hana’s and Inumaki’s arms…
Yuta was right in thinking that Sukuna would be surprised at being hit by his own technique.
However, something pretty nice happening here is that Sukuna looks pleased at tasting his own technique.
Tumblr media
You know, we are well aware by now that Sukuna is a hedonist to the fullest. So I’m actually pleased that, rather than being really pissed off for getting a taste of his own medicine, he really experienced this little moment in a way that couldn’t show better how a being can be more self centered lol
I mean, his smile as he says ‘I see. Quite the meal.’ or "Oh, I get it. You ate it." feels like he is amused at tasting some of the power his own technique holds. I can hear Suwabe-san making it sound like he is having a foodgasm. And Yuta’s face turning worried is a sign that he oughta move to his next attack against the King of Hedonism ASAP.
Yuji and Yuta’s hand-to-hand-fight with Sukuna is beautiful, my god.
Sukuna is a good +4m tall muscle-built four-armed TITAN GIANT. Yuta and mostly Yuji are making him bend, making him bleed, making him blind by spitting blood on his cursed eyes, and FUCK - THIS FIGHT IS GOLD!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Details I gotta highlight:
This is the second time Yuji survives Cleave at point blank, showing how much his endurance is up in such a crucial moment.
It was so smart of him to spit blood on Sukuna’s face. Reminds a little how his lil brother Kechizu spat his cursed blood on him back in s01 times.
Yuji’s determination to save defeat Sukuna and save Megumi with ‘heal up, heal up, HEAL UP’ makes me wanna chomp on wood T_T (C’mon baby, you can do it!)
Count on Sukuna to keep looking amused as he is being wrecked to the bones lmao. But also, this means he is thinking, analyzing, plotting, and soon preparing to counterattack.
The way Rika grabs him by the leg and throws him at Yuji’s soul shaking kick IS PERFECT.
The beating is so well delivered that, in fact, Sukuna is pushed to a deadly gamble.
I love when Sukuna gambles. He does it so many times throughout the story that I don’t think anyone can actually be surprised to see him doing this again in this chapter.
And I really mean it, cause not even our MCs are surprised. They had a solid plan of what to do once they had pushed Sukuna to the point they wanted: aka, releasing the HWC to try using Space Dismantle while tanking Jacob’s Ladder.
In less than a blink, Sukuna is 3/4 immobilized.
Rika, half manifested, gets his upper arms while Yuji goes for the lower right.
Yuta, though, goes straight to his guts, and bravely shoves his hand inside his belly mouth while Sukuna's only free arm goes straight to his head.
The cost for such a risky attack? A Cleave delivered directly on his bloody head.
Tumblr media
But Yuta’s RCT doesn’t fail him. And he also still gets to rip out the Cursed Tongue - leaving Sukuna to have only one way to chant curses now. Confirming their suspicions that the King needs to use hand signs and chants or both to use “Space Dismantle”, which is an opening they can take an important advantage of to both use the domain's sure hit and reach Megumi.
This page made me scream!
Tumblr media
The sight of Sukuna’s cheek exploding is bloody horrible.
Yuta tanking another slash attack shook me.
But Yuta coming up at the fucking King of Curses absolutely confident he can face him off FEARLESSLY is even more gobsmacking. I love my son!
ALSO: DID YUTA REALLY USE DISMANTLE ON SUKUNA’S ARM RIGHT HERE????
Also, the fact that Sukuna’s output is low to that point is both a sign that 1) his deadly efficiency is truly getting compromised by the biggest jjk team jump this manga had to this day,  2) Yuta and Yuji really leveled up to an impressive stage!
Tumblr media
I don’t think we have ever seen Sukuna getting so overwhelmed and shocked.
Yuta’s next sword attack happens simultaneously with Yuji’s blood manipulation attack, and Sukuna loses his free hand while he realizes Yuji in fact just used his spitted blood to blow half his face off, rendering unable to speak.
A little thought I want to share though is that, while it has been long hinted that Yuji is able to use Blood Manipulation in any form after eating his brothers and training with both Choso and Noritoshi, I still have a little doubt whether the piercing blood attack in chapter 247 really comes from Yuji or not.
From the pov in 247, PB comes from somewhere really high and far from where Sukuna is. And in chapter 244, we see Mei Mei and Momo observing the battle from a tall building not too far away. I could see Choso being taken somewhere safe up to and despite being heavily wounded, still trying to help his lil brother. But also, I can picture Yuji rushing up some of the destroyed buildings to locate Sukuna and Higuruma, and desperately PB Sukuna to buy some time until he gets there.
I mean, if it had been really Yuji, I half expected Sukuna to have a lil flashback not only of the moment Yuji spat on him, but also from when he was attacked back in 247. That would solidify the fact he shockingly realized Yuji is using BM. So I will wait for a clear confirmation...
This talk is pretty interesting and important.
Tumblr media
We discovered through Yuki’s search that:
Even when souls mix to some degree, they don’t become one single soul.
Choso can’t feel the OG soul of the human whose (his) body belongs to, and that’s why he asks if Yuji and Sukuna aren’t a special case. A fair question that made me think Choso could actually give back his body to the guy if he knew the poor man was trapped inside.
Yuji explains that CE plays an important role in the case of cursed objects and non-sorcerers then. Yet, no matter how deep a living soul may sink, it won’t merge or disappear in such cases.
Choso proposes another special case: since Yuji said, “in general level things are unmergeable”,  what if Megumi and Sukuna are different tho? What if that could happen to them?
Yuji proceeds to say he added the “general” thing cause he had dealt with Mahito. Also, uniting souls transform them into other separate being. So as long as a soul CT like Mahito’s is NOT at play, then the merging of souls can’t happen.
And trusting fully in Yuki’s search, Yuji promises he will shake Megumi’s soul awake.
And after learning all of this, I wished for real that Yuki had not died so prematurely. The fact she was a former Star Plasma Vessel, that she could hear the voices of the souls Tengen had absorbed throughout the millennium, and that she had now Maki, Yuji/Sukuna, Choso and Mahito to deepen her research on souls and find a “scientific way” for how to break free from CE, BUT she never could do it… is a PAIN. We can’t undo what GG did, tho, so let's move on to the next topic.
Angel’s technique is special.
But it has a well defined role in the story: one that is NOT what some ppl think.
Tumblr media
In an incarnated body, there is the mix of one’s technique + the personality + cursed object. So, since Angel’s CT can eradicate CTs, they can erase Sukuna. As they all want to save Megumi, tho, they will need to do the same thing Hana tried back in chapter 213: using the attack to FIRST weaken the connection between Sukuna and Megumi so Megumi’s chances of surviving the brain damage are better, and THEN move on to finish off the King of Curses.
And here I want to point out how absurd it is for anyone to expect a MINOR side character to end the history of the final MAIN antagonist of this series. Because, truly, unless you are being really disingenuous or purposefully kidding yourself just to hate and badmouth JJK, one cannot be serious over Hana EVER standing a chance against Sukuna. Even more with one of her arms torn off by the King himself.
And that’s why Yuta - the one second only to Gojo - is the one side-handling this freaking final battle.
Sukuna is damn right roughen and wrecked.
Yuji has one of his arms, Rika has two arms + a bite on his shoulder, his free arm is handless, his main mouth is half blown, and his belly mouth is tongueless and dripping blood.
There is a seriousness to his features that is different though. I mean he is the king of smiles, but he is deadly serious right here...
Tumblr media
He KNOWS what is coming. He has chosen to gamble his endurance power against Yutangel’s Max Jacob’s ladder. So he is definitely mentally preparing to receive one of the hardest blows on his unstable (connected to Megumi) form.
And then Sukuna takes it.
Tumblr media
His reaction is highly different from last time though, and it’s kinda obvious why. In chapter 213,  he had just barely taken over Megumi’s body as well as he was at 15 fingers. Here he is in his incarnated true form, 19 fingers + his very mummified head in.
That said, the way he only growls/grunts/gasps tanking a DE’s sure hit from someone with a CE around the same as his own is impressive. Not only that, but also another crystal clear hint that he is the fucking King of JJK for a reason. You can’t break him easily. You can’t beat him conventionally. You can’t kill him until his last drop of CE is gone, until his brain is incapacitated, until his self-serving wish to keep existing - even if meaninglessly - is obliterated together with his cursed soul. As long as he holds the overwhelming power to exist, he will keep existing.
Knowing the enemy is NOT down yet, Rika chomps her mouth on Sukuna’s shoulder again as she holds his arms again while Yuta butchers his lower right arm in half, buying the time Yuji needs to fuel the special punch that he hopes will shake Megumi’s soul awake from the depths of this nearly unkillable monster. And if my eyes are not deceiving me, I think that -  by the shape of Sukuna’s tattoo - Yuji hits him in the middle of his chest. Right over his heart.
Tumblr media
Megumi’s breakdown deserves an analysis of its own.
But, yeah, IT HURTS.
Tumblr media
As Yuji is shaken by Megumi’s state, though, the inevitable happens.
Sukuna, following his gamble of tanking and surviving JL to throw the WCD, does exactly that. The chants come on the page on a background a little similar to how his DE first appeared in animation. It’s eerie, cursed, and we know shit will happen on the next page…
Using what seems to be the arm Yuta had slashed in half (or is it the hand Rika was holding before), Sukuna strikes ALL his enemies with a seemingly WCD.
Tumblr media
Way too close to him, Yuta takes the bruntest of it - the slash rips/slants his abdomen (letting we peek what is probably his liver), his back and his ring fingered hand (strongest way of connection with Rika) is severed from his wrist. Rika is slashed all over her face, the lower jaw which had bitten onto Sukuna’s shoulder is cut off and falling, her monstrous hands all cut and bloodied when they release Sukuna. Yuji is slashed on his forehead, across his face, and by the blood trajectory, from his collarbone down to abdomen.
There is NO WAY THO that Yuji is dying like that, though.
So before we find out how Yuji - and prolly Yuta too - will survive this attack, it is important to notice here that Sukuna does not say “Dismantle” when he unleashes this attack on them. And, YES, chants ARE important in JJK. (I know a lot of ppl will complain about this, especially since “Gojo died with this attack!”, but I’m just saying what is drawn in the manga.)
Sukuna is back to his menacingly smiling aura as Yuta’s domain starts crumbling on top of him.
But while he is RCTing his injuries and tasting what seems to finally be the end of this cursed battle day, he is struck by the sneakiest signature attack of the modern era.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maki Zenin, the demon with zero cursed energy, pierces his heart - and soul - with her Split Soul katana.
If I said I haven't screamed at this whole sequence, I would be a liar. This was absolutely INCREDIBLE!
Now I hope GG won't switch the pov back to Hakari x Uraume, but I feel like he might as well do again T_T
Anyway, I just had to write all this to say how PERFECT Gege is weaving Gojo's pupils battle against the greatest King of Curses!!

Memories of Him (in you)
No pairing (uses second person)
Summary: You remind everyone of someone
Notes
I was in a sad mood and this was the outcome
Word Count: 697 words
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Gojo wasn't as pesky with you as he is with the others.
He was kind, he was helpful, he was polite. He was opposite of what your coworkers and friends would tell you he is.
Gojo would always know to give you sweets after a mission. Somehow, he already knew what your technique does to you without asking you much about it. He always made sure that you aren’t doing a back-to-back missions to give you a day to rest from your technique.
He always knew how to take care of your long, black hair. He always carried a hair tie by his wrist that whenever you ask for one, he would always reach out from his wrist to give it to you without a word.
It felt like it was engraved in his mind how to take care of you already.
You were always the only one to ride along some of his antics, acting playful during missions but knowing when to act proper too. You always felt like a child when you’re with him, you didn’t know if that was a curse or a blessing.
He would freeze for a bit when you singsong his name, the sweetness of how you say ‘Satoru’ catching him off guard before he says your name back in the same singsong tone. A forced grin on his face that you caught early on.
Shoko would sometimes freeze at the sight of you before her shoulders slump down and acknowledged you with a light hint of bitterness and sadness. You would feel like it's just a part of your imagination had you not noticed it one too many times already.
She froze when you offered her a lighter one time, telling her that you always carried one to play with. She only stared at you before accepting it, a whisper of gratitude escaping her lips before she had to rush off.
Nanami would be scaringly polite with you, always bowing too straight when he sees you. Which makes you question why he does it, because aren't you two the same age? He always listened to your opinion and viewpoint more than he did with Gojo. You would notice sometimes that he showed more respect to you than he does with him.
Principal Yaga would have a sad smile when he sees you joking with Gojo, his eyes lightly coated in tears before abruptly scolding the two of you, stopping you from annoying the first years before turning his back on the two of you.
And during the night parade of a thousand demons, when you were face to face with the person that wanted to get Rika from Yuta, that's when you understood why they were so stiff with you.
Because to you, you were only Y/N Y/L/N, a semi grade one sorcerer that could manipulate curses.
But to them, you were a spitting replica of Suguru Geto.
A walking reminder of their past.
And when your attempts of protecting your students failed and Suguru Geto has you on the verge of life and death, Maki and Panda had taken you to Shoko. Where she was forced to see a replica of Suguru dead on her table.
It took everything in her to not break down then and there, because this was something she had wished to not witness. With a faux strong demeanor, she did everything in her to heal you. Shoko knew that you were close to death that when she couldn’t hear your heartbeat back anymore, she had to rush out the room to cry.
Because to others, you would just be a written casualty in the report for the night parade of a thousand demons.
But to her, it feels like she failed to heal Suguru.
When Shoko had to break the news that you didn’t make it to Gojo, and showed your lifeless body on her table to him. Gojo had knelt down on the floor in defeat, loudly crying just by your body, clutching his chest in pain as he begs that this is just a very terrible nightmare haunting him.
Because why was he forced to see Suguru dead twice in one day?

quite a lot of readers speculated that Yuta has probably gained a pair of Six Eyes because of his distant lineage with Gojo, but even if that could be somewhat true, do you think it makes any sense? I do not doubt Yuta at all. his ability is second only to Gojo and we also have Yuji surpassing him, but I thought the Six Eyes were inherited from birth, though? not to mention it is an extremely RARE TRAIT, and Satoru was the first sorcerer in 400 years to possess both Limitless and Six Eyes, so my question is: how Yuta could actually obtain it without directly being a part of Gojo clan itself (because I simply do not buy the "it is possible because he is Gojo's distant relative" concept or idea, and in a very short time too? through what and how exactly? is it his copy technique? or Ui Ui's technique? did Yuta actually met Gojo personally or made a research about it before? most importantly, is this even possible?
in my personal opinion: if there is MORE to what Yuta can actually do that we are yet to witness, I think the very least he is capable to perform is the Limitless. with this, it will be aligned with Sukuna's thought as shown in the manga panel below (I shared this on twitter before I decided to talk about it on here)
Tumblr media
we already knew that it has been highlighted that Limitless cannot be done without the existence of the Six Eyes, however, I recalled this note from Gege to explain Gojo's Limitless Cursed Technique:
Tumblr media
to summarize, Limitless CAN be used by other sorcerers - especially the strongest aside of Satoru himself - only hindrance is the difficulty to perform it since it requires the Six Eyes to master the Limitless. others will only be struggling themselves harder when using it - shows how furiously amazing these abilities are and NOT EVERYONE is able to handle them without an immense amount of cursed energy.
what I want to explain here is that Yuta COULD POSSIBLY possesses the Limitless since he should not have any problem using it with the amount of CE he has + Rika's, but I bet their CE might run out faster due to the absence of the Six Eyes. if Yuta obtains the eye, just like Satoru, he will be unstoppable.
and lastly what I wanted to talk about is this "unknown figure" that shows up out of a sudden in the latest chapter :
Tumblr media
I can only make some points here (I posted about this btw) :
this is Satoru and he made a BV to sacrifice his supposed left eye (in a correct position, it is on the right)
Still THE Gojo Satoru we all know but he is only just a ghost or hallucination of Sukuna - most probably PTSD.
narrator is using a JP word that describes this figure above as a "revenant" which means an entity that is reincarnated in other human's body. this brought many readers to speculate that a soul from thousand years ago reincarnated into that unknown figure (in case it was confirmed that this figure is not Satoru) and it was said to be Sugawara Michizane from Heian era.
to back up the third point, Kenjaku was said to be defeated twice by two different users of the Six Eyes in Heian era, and since we learned that Gojo clan descends from Sugawara Michizane - one of the renowned three vengeful spirits and Yuta is also a direct descendance - one of them could be reincarnated inside that "unknown figure" above. if they had a huge connection from those era, this might be their vengeful spirit.
okay that is all. Wind Breaker spams in a few hours!

✶ 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: okkotsu yuta
Out of all your classmates and close friends, the first years of Jujutsu Tech, 2017 class, you are the most interesting one for Okkotsu Yuta — let’s recap that there is a boy who only speaks in ingredients and a literal panda that talks and fights.
Maybe, he finds you the most amusing because when Gojo Satoru introduced him to class, you were the only one that stayed with your weapons and powers down, in fact, you jumped in front of Yuta to save him from your classmates. Rika would never admit, but she did liked you that day.
Yuta is, very notable for anyone, the most introvert and awkward person anyone had ever met, and a part of you tried to take care of him. Is a heavy power he has, a curse, but you are there when the weight feels too much.
It’s not only all about Yuta, all your needs are answered with the same intensity you devote to him! And Rika, although creepy sometimes, learns to give you space. Yuta has to threaten her, something that took you by surprise, he was always so gentle.
Your relationship starts merely days before the attack Geto planned, and he knew who you were from the start — trembling ideas in his mind, should he or should he not try to go for Okkotsu’s most prized thing? He did, in the end, you got badly hurt.
Through your blurry vision, drenched in blood, you saw Rika and your boyfriend fighting, and you tried to get up, but ended up falling to the ground, to slumber and defeat.
The feeling of fingertips tracing figures in your arms, and whispers of begging is what wake you up, in the hospital bed. He is all over you in an instant, after a small “Yuta..?”, his head goes straight to your neck, desperately devoting kisses to your beating vein, serving as a reminder that you are well.
Yuta takes his boyfriend and personal nurse duties to a charming extent, Rika doesn’t dare come and complain, you’re already hurt enough.
The boy makes sure all your needs are taken while you recover, he buys your groceries for your dorm, he sleeps with you instead of your teddy bears, and he makes your meals — even desert, you teach him while sitting on the small sofa how to make your perfect brownies, and the first tries he accidentally made cake, but practice makes perfection, and soon, you will be long healed and both making brownies for your friends to taste and say which one is the best.
Yuta does not like public spaces as much as the next person, but he goes wherever you want — a fair, a museum, anywhere and he follows. And if you feel like drowning in a bit of fear, you don’t even have to move first, he is already giving you his arm to hold. Yuta actually prefers to hug you.
In his arms, is a fact everyone can see, that’s your both safe space. A safe harbor.
──── ✎ ° ⋆ FUN FACTS.

Ghostin
if I had to be sad you have to be sad too
WARNINGS: angst, angst yall, no happy ending (lmao), a couple mentions of the name Y/n, written with tall Latina reader in mind, depression from Suguru?, spelling mistakes were made (that’s for damn sure)
Tumblr media
“Suguru!” you say with a smile as you finally catch up to him
Your boyfriend turns around and gives you a weak smile. You noticed he lost weight, hasn’t been sleeping well, and has been quieter than usual. Every time you asked in concern, he would assure you he’s okay, which you never believed.
Especially after the incident with the Star Plasma Vessel. He was never the same ever since he took on the mission with Gojo, leaving you and Shoko behind as they took care of Rika.
You sigh, “Are you still free for later today? The new episode of Breaking Bad is coming out”
Suguru nods at your question. You can’t help but frown at Suguru’s lack of communication.
“Suguru, you know you can tell me what you’re feeling. You don’t have to keep it to yourself, please.”
Your boyfriend just smiles at you, “I’m fine, really. It’s the summer heat.”
You frown but decide not to pester him any longer. “Don’t forget, okay? My dorm at 7, don’t be late!” You say as you give him a quick kiss on the cheek and walk off to meet with Shoko.
Safe to say Geto never came to your dorm at 7.
You waited.
It was now 8.
You waited some more.
It was now 9.
You waited once again, occasionally glancing down at your phone for any message from Suguru. Nothing.
It was now 10.
You tried staying awake, just incase Suguru texted you. Your sleep got the best of you.
It was now the next morning.
As disappointed as you were, you just didn’t have the heart to be mad at him. Suguru wouldn’t do this on purpose.
You walk into the lounge area and see Suguru talking with Haibara. You wave at both of them and look to Suguru, who gave you a look as to say ‘sorry’.
Sighing, you took a seat next to Suguru, leaning your head against his shoulder.
Haibara kindly greeted you and asked what you would like from his upcoming mission with Nanami. You insisted he didn’t have to get anything but he wouldn’t take no as an answer. With a laugh, you said you would like something sweet, which happened to be the same answer as Geto. You both had Gojo in mind.

Days passed and you hear the news of Haibara.

Suguru tells you he’s assigned on a mission and will gone for a couple of days.
“Do you want me to go with you?”
He smiles at you, “Nah, I’ll be fine. Once I return, we can watch that episode of Breaking Bad that I missed.”
You kiss Suguru softly, “I’ll be waiting.”

Days passed, with no sign of Suguru.
More days passed, and no sign of Suguru.
Even more days passed, and with an order of execution of Suguru Geto.
When Gojo had told you, you couldn’t believe it.
Suguru wouldn’t do that.
He wouldn’t do that.
He wouldn’t kill innocent people.
He wouldn’t kill his own parents.
He wouldn’t.
You knew him.
He wouldn’t.
You chose not to believe it, that was until Geto came face to face with you and told you himself.
“Suguru….,” you say in a whisper.
Suguru walked away from you, not turning to face you again.
He had left all of you. He had left Jujustu High Tech. He had left his friends. He had left Gojo. He had left Shoko. Most importantly, he left you.

It was now 2016.
You hadn’t seen Geto or heard of him since. You didn’t seem to care, at least that’s what you thought.
Alongside Gojo, you also became a teacher. While Gojo taught the first years, you taught the second years.
You also changed, significantly. Your short curly hair now grew in length; cascading near your ribs, you also grew taller, you fashioned a scar on your right eye from a curse years ago, and you matured.
You “moved on” from your former friend and boyfriend, Suguru Geto.
That was until you saw him on the school grounds, holding Yuta close and speaking to him with a smile.
You stood there, watching the interaction as Gojo placed a hand on your shoulder to knock you out of your trance.
Gojo speaks up, “Could you please stop preaching your crazy beliefs to my students.”
Suguru turned around as his hand was draped over Yuta. “Saturo, Y/n!”, he greeted the both of you casually, as if he hadn’t been off terrorizing non sorcerers.
You motion Maki, Inumaki, and Panda to get ready just incase.
Suguru continued on with his speech, not before insulting Maki, calling her the Zenin clans failure.
Maki, clearly angered at his words, drew her blade.
You walked up to them and step in between them, “Why are you here, Geto?”
He couldn’t help but eye you up and down, seeing how much you changed over the years.
Suguru laughed and closed his eyes, “What’s with the formalities, hmm?” he smiled and continued, “I’m here to declare war.”

You didn’t want it to end like this.
Not like this.
There wasn’t enough time.
Geto leaned against the wall, gripping his shoulder that was missing an arm. When he saw you looking at him, he couldn’t help but smile softly.
You walk to Geto and sit besides him, not having the heart to end him. You couldn’t. He was your first love, your first friend, your first everything.
“My love…” he whispered to you, “it’s okay to let go.”
Tears spilled from your eyes, “I can’t, Suguru.”
You turn to face him, his raven eyes looking at your light brown eyes. He could stare in them forever, if the world was so kind to let him do so.
“Were you happy?” you ask so quietly, you weren’t sure if Geto had even heard of you.
Suguru closed his eyes and leaned his head to your shoulder, “I was, but a part of me was hurting knowing you weren’t with me,” he confessed.
The tears never stopped, “I love you, Suguru.”
Suguru smiled at you; that smile that always made you gush; that smile that always let you know he was there for you; that smile that let you know you were both in it together; that smile that let you know he loved you.
“I love you, too.”
Those were the last words you heard fall from Geto Suguru’s lips.
He knew you had to kill him. You knew as well.
Insert song: ghostin by Ariana Grande
“I know you hear me when I cry, I try to hold it in at night, while you’re sleeping next to me, but it’s your arms that I need this time, look at the cards that we’ve dealt, if you were anybody else, probably wouldn’t last a day, every tear’s a rain parade from hell”

thinking really hard about a college au because i enjoy them a lot more than high school aus.
yuuta - pre-med, in school to become a doctor
toge - divided between computer science and dropping out of college to pursue opening his own café with a garden.
maki - pre-law, in school to become a lawyer
panda - zoology
yuuji - business degree that he’s just doing for his grandfather, will graduate but goes on to be a firefighter.
megumi - animal sciences, going on to enter veterinarian school to become a vet.
nobara - fashion design/marketing degree
gojo - a sadistic physics professor with multiple degrees, both through education and honorary, because he got bored. sometimes he picks students out to give full-ride scholarships, because he self-proclaims having too much money.
getou - philosophy professor that enjoys playing the devils advocate and watching his students squirm.
shoko - oversees the university hospital and occasionally recruits for the pre-med program
nanami - graduated with a business degree, agreed to give yuuji an internship
ijichi - gojo’s overworked TA
i just think maki and yuuta would struggle through graduate school together. their cabinets would be full of instant ramen, cabbage, junk food, and ungodly amounts of coffee. the only real food they get is because toge cooks for them and gives them the stink eye every time he opens their cabinet.
toge doesn’t really have room to talk though, he overworks himself and ends up going far too long without sleep. hours on assignments that make him miserable, burned out from the moment every semester starts. too often does yuuta find him dissociating, something he’s all too familiar with. yuuta himself suffers from insomnia, so it’s not uncommon for him to settle on the couch and run his fingers through toge’s hair until his eyes close.
toge probably had a really difficult time getting the courage to either drop out or just really not use his degree as intended. i can’t picture him genuinely enjoying higher education. even in this happy, no one dies world, his family is with the second years for a reason. computer science was appeasing enough, but the unhappiness is so draining that everyday getting up and going to class feels so impossible. he feels his happiest at the gardening club, cooking for his friends, not sitting in a lecture hall with a preview to what awaits him. but ultimately, i think the independence and knowledge that he wasn’t alone or abandoned was enough to push him into the decision. luckily enough he was a scholarship winner (gojo lol) so he wasn’t in debt, and gojo even offered to fund him through culinary school with the promise of free sweets forever.
with yuuta, i think his history of being hospitalized and the accident with rika (who is not dead here !! but she was paralyzed and had to move with a different family member who was able to support her) definitely pushed him to medical degrees. he was probably stuck between being a physical therapist, nurse, and full-fledged doctor. he still keeps in contact with rika, who is one of his biggest supporters when it comes to his goal, but he has a mental breakdown every week thinking about getting a medical degree. shoko definitely takes notice of his talent, and has extended opportunities to intern with her. gojo also found that they were distantly related, and not only paid for his entire education, but also the apartment he rents with maki and toge. he tried refuting, but gojo kept insisting that he was tapping into the family inheritance that technically belonged to both of them.
toge is more than a little devastated when yuuta decides to study abroad in their undergraduate, i actually think that’s when the fully misery of college hits him. not having an unhealthy classmate and friend to look after forced him to focus on himself, his least favorite pastime. having the first years helped, but it also forces him to reflect how much he cared about yuuta past being a friend too.
anyway, i have so many ideas for this au so um please ask me so i can word vomit everywhere. also normalize more college aus so people like me can still relate lol <3
