if lupin had a genshin impact vision, what do you think it'd be?or do you think it would be a delusion? i personally think he'd be like the traveler and get to change elements, but that he'd like anemo (wind and freedom, thieves having the freedom to go where they want)
// Oh man, Lupin in Genshin is for sure something that I've thought about before lol
It would definitely be either Anemo or Hydro! Although, I am personally more leaning towards Hydro, since in the Genshin world, he'll definitely be from Fontaine, the nation of the Hydro Archon. Plus there's the lines from the Oceanid...
"Coveting the shapes of the living, pure water can take on many forms. [...] The power of water is its ability to take any shape…"
which mirrors what Lupin says about himself at the end of the first story!
“Why,” said he, “why should I retain a definite form and feature? Why not avoid the danger of a personality that is ever the same? My actions will serve to identify me.”
It may be possible that he somehow gets his hands on a delusion! Probably stole it from some poor Fatui guys... Hell, make it an Anemo delusion so we can both win and have both Hydro and Anemo on him.
Apart from his vision, if he were to be a playable Genshin character... definitely 5*, probably sustained or quickswap main dps! I would say sword for weapon type, but we already have quite a few hydro/sword characters... Maybe catalyst instead, but like Childe his attack animations are weapons formed from water, because that's cool.
His utility passive would be like... "chance to double the amount of gemstones when you craft them" or "not startle crystalflies and other animals when getting near them".
Some extra thoughts on Genshin Vision lore and Lupin below the cut because I have no self-control:
I originally had the thought that Lupin would be the type to gloat about his vision because receiving one of them is presented as a sign of favour from the gods. Although, thinking on it more and basing it off of some of the canon Genshin character voicelines about visions...
In this AU, I feel that his views on the gods might not be as positive? Assuming that most things plays out similar to canon, having there be gods in the world but yet still seeing and experiencing the abuse his mother receives might sour his opinions.
I'm just imagining little Raoul receiving a vision after stealing the Queen's Necklace and tries to sell it off along with the necklace for his mother lol. Perhaps only later on, he grows to be more accepting of the vision and the power it grants him.
(+ with how visions are connected to ambitions... Imagine Lupin going through 813's whole becoming-mad-with-power and then jumping into the ocean with the extra added tibit of having a Hydro vision.)

Ok but @why-i-love-comics early superhero comics didn't have the level of artistic quality to depict descriptive or compelling sexualizations of their characters-- male or female. Look at Batwoman's earliest appearance in the comics:
Hell, the only outfit here that comes close to being sexualized is Dick Grayson's-- he has the most bared skin and the fucking iconic scaly panties. Batwoman on the other hand has a high collar and an eye-scalding color scheme that looked like it was designed by McDonald's marketing team.
This was one of Supergirl's early appearances:
Kara is a pretty infamously sexualized character nowadays with her Power Girl costume's boob windows and all, but her original appearances were a far cry from sexy. She looks like your friendly blonde schoolgirl-next-door type, complete with the knee-length skirt and all.
Most if not all of early comic superhero women were drawn non-sexualized:
Also as per the lack of dicks you're asking about in comics, what does that have to do with.. with anything, really? I don't think most women sexualize dick bulges to the extent they do with men's abs/ass/rest of their physique.
There are lots of comics objectifying dicks tho, regardless. So there's your dicks lmao.
And yes men usually are drawn with rippling muscles but guess what, that can be fanservice for females as well as a male power fantasy. It can go both ways and is often intended in that manner-- Look at Jason Todd in Rebirth's RHATO in that scene where he's literally stark naked on a tropical island for all except the leaves over his crotch. That is 100% fan service. Adversely, sexy female bodies can be power fantasies for females too. The creator of Bayonetta (an infamously sexualized female video game character) for example admitted that Bayonetta was her power fantasy. People like looking good and appealing, male and females alike.
And also dick bulges are usually way more obscure on a person (in terms of realistic anatomy) whereas tits and ass are obviously not. And yeah men's asses get sexualized regularly in comics-- exhibit A being Nightwing, whose ass has become so famous it's a running gag how good it is in the fandom and comics alike. And given the fact that male superheroes usually wear tight-fitting clothes, their behinds are usually getting an inordinate amount of, uh, detail.
Male superheroes usually get Smexy Treatment(TM) with their depictions-- as it is with female characters, it varies depending on the artist. Clay Mann might sexualize Batgirl more whereas others may not to the same extent or at all. There have been people to depict Cassandra Cain's Batgirl with a more mature take on her body and there have been people to avoid that route entirely. There's been people to draw Red Hood with those thicc thighs and there have been those to not. There have been people to draw Barbara Gordon in a really sexy way and there have been people to portray her in less revealing/tight costumes who chose to highlight more the "girl" in Batgirl and draw her younger with a fitting attire to boot.
You're being super reductionistic when it comes to body portrayals in comics, so I'll just.. finish it with that.
