hi krookodyke! we were once discussing whether lottie is supposed to be indigenous to reflect the ethnicities of her actors (and the not so great implications of that and the wilderness cult). anyway, I just saw an interview with simone kessel where she mentioned that she asked the yj art dept to give adult lottie a maori tattoo. I think that basically implies indigenous lottie is canon.

OH YES I DO REMEMBER THAT! it slipped my mind initially LOL. i thought that was super sick of simone to do, giving lottie a māori tattoo… so clearly lottie IS meant to be māori and not like first nations or indigenous american. in any case i hope we see more of lottie’s pre-crash life and her whole Family situation… not even just her but also the rest of them, i feel like we only have a good grasp of nat’s and jackie’s familial situation because i would argue their parents have the most screentime & significance (and for justified reason). REGARDLESS! thank you for the reminder anon my ass literally forgot when we were discussing this before LOL.
