#i mean i might#i have a week left of work and then i'm going to need something to distract myself from completely collapsing for a whole month hn#it's left a hole in my days i have nothing to tune out with anymore#i will be replaying the dark souls trilogy at some point in the not too distant future but#i regrettably found that the version of 1 i had in my recently resurrected steam library is the now defunct Prepare To Die edition and lord#there's no kind of controller support at all and#i've tried to spruce it up with every kind of mod i could find and it's still naomi cambell sniffling you're all so ugly dot jpg#and none of the DS games are in the steam sale argh#ølden ring#a possible brave yet controversial thought but#i've been circling around through old haunts just to try and find things i've missed and#was stormveil castle the early peak in terms of legacy dungeon design?#all the subsequent ones barring maybe leyndell favoured a (relatively) more linear approach#with one fairly obvious throughline where stormveil looped in and around itself in umpteen different delightfully confusing ways
