ok i have to be a hater just this once. is this a safe space. i do not like the danganronpa fashion collabs, theyre all extremely boring to me.
#the new one i actually did like some aspects of but this is just like. my blanket statement#theyre not *bad* theyre just uninteresting#to me#im sure someone who actually knows shit about fashion would disagree with me#because my love for it comes purely from personal preference and knowledge of color coordination#and i think they do have a lot of wide appeal#neutral colors inoffensive shapes#but thats kind of why i dislike them#it looks like they were bought at target to me#like my untrained thriftpilled eye that doesnt know shit about what an expensive gray sweater looks like#point is#it all just looks very corporate to me#like theyre *trying* to achieve that widespread appeal#because they are#because thats what fashion brands do#it just feels very impersonal yknow#like their character wasnt considered for what clothes they were put in#with hajime or makoto i guess its believable but for characters with strong senses of style like junko or nagito it just feels strange that#theyre wearing such inoffensive clothing#like i dont think theyd wear that#i know the point is to put them in specific styles that arent necessarily tailored to their characters#and its not like theres anything wrong with doing that#the point of this is not to pretend like this is an actual issue i just think theyre bad lol#im just a hater about this specific topic#never again will i talk about it because i don’t actually care#kisses your cheek#i promise#goot bye#the twenties whisper
