methinks there’s going to be some. interesting. developments in the world of states rights vs federal government in the next few years
#wary of the CO ruling bc it could very easily be used by republicans to omit a dem candidate….#and there’s some um#historical issues#with giving states 100% free reign with running elections lol#(hell there’s CURRENT issues with that)#so#ugh this country is a mess but on a level that idk people understand#bc i think that in an almost ideal world#(one where the us exists roughly as it currently does)#there’d be a perfect balancing point btwn states rights and the federal govt#we. do not live in that reality though#so we’ll just have to wait and see
