I am in need of book recommendations

I broke my knee so i have to sit down a lot more than normal, and because of the brace, it's harder to balance a computer on my lap, so i might have to go to books for a bit

Does anyone have any recommendations? If there's queerness in it, that's a bonus, but it can't be too obvious because of my homophobic parents
