Of all the conversations that could’ve been sparked by “Animation vs Physics,” an hour-long exploration of animal cruelty in the horse-training industry was not one I expected.

Be gentle with your heels, folks. Horses can feel when a fly lands on their skin, and will match the energy of their rider. They don’t need you digging your heels into their ribs with enough force that you can hear it; and don’t trust whatever live-action media you’re watching to not just edit out that sound.
