This yellow eyed pendant is similar to one I made back in 2023 and I wanted to make it closer to that one. This necklace is made with yellow glass round beads, black cats eye round beads, black round lava stone beads, and small round brecciated jasper beads.

Got a little bored and ended up having to do some wrapping. Wasn’t exactly looking for much else to do, so ended looking around for something not too heavy either. Ended up with a few colorful stones for the most part and ended up wrapping both, which turned out pretty well, though still thinking. For the most part it ended up working, but still thinking of other things to do for the rest of the weekend. Might do more things later, since there’s still time tomorrow and might do something else, but for the most part waiting on the rings and the hole punch. So not much else can be done currently as of the piles, but still thinking. Might do some more things later if there’s some more time for the weekend, but still thinking. For the most part there’s not a whole ton left for doing.

This was a necklace I was inspired to make going more for a nature theme to it. The pendant is made out of wood while the beads are made out of a variety of stones. The cylinder ones are moss agate while the small round wooden beads are probably some type of palm.

Custom Wire Wrapped Necklaces

These are the stones I have available for wire wraps, for those of you who are interested!

If you would like to claim one, please be sure to read this entire post!

So here’s the rundown. Below is a picture with each stone numbered, and below that is the name of each stone, along with the price.

The price includes the following: the stone wrapped in the metal of your choice (sterling silver, 14k gold fill, 14k rose gold fill), an 18″ chain finished with a handmade clasp, and it includes free shipping worldwide! 

You will choose the style they’d like it wrapped in. There are three example pics below. 

Payment is due when the stone is claimed and all the options are chosen (metal, style, etc). PLEASE NOTE - these will be completed by the end of NOVEMBER 2024. There’s always a possibility that something comes up that causes a delay, but I do try to get them done early. They take a long time to make, please make sure you��re okay with the wait before ordering. I put the utmost care into this and have extreme attention to detail, and when that combines with my busy schedule, it means that it can take a while. 

To claim: send me a message over the instant messenger with your email address, the country you’re in, the stone you’d like to claim, the metal you’d like it wrapped in, and the style you’d like it wrapped in. I’ll then send your invoice and get started on your pendant! :)

*This is a "mystery stone" because I cannot find the name of it. It came from an older Russian miner who I had a language barrier situation with but he did confirm it's from Siberia. I wish I could find the name! It's shiny and almost metalic, reminding me a little bit of sphalerite. It's gorgeous.

These are the styles you can choose from (I do very minimalist wrapping so the stone really shines through! And the wrapping is super sturdy!)

Out of curiosity, how does one start making jewelry themselves? You mentioned it in your hobby list and i was always kinda interested but never knew where or how to start.

One of the easier and more accessible types of jewelry you can make is wire-wrapping! Here's an example from an etsy account linked HERE

All you really need for this are some beads or stones, wire, wire cutters, and a pair of rounded pliers. If you have a wire stripper, you can even recycle copper electrical wiring ! (I used to do this to make chain.)

I personally don't wear a lot of these, but I am IN LOVE with making wire-wrap bead chains like THIS

Again, not too expensive to get supplies, and no fire or torches needed.

Although if you DO have access to a propane or acetylene torch, or a soldiering gun, some liquid Flux, and copper soldier, you can do some pretty awesome shit as well!

Like I said, I used to LOVE making industrial-style chain necklaces out of electrical wire that ended up looking like THIS

I also used to love making flowers, rings, bracelets, etc, because again, they were relatively cheap and easy to make out of recycled materials

Highly recommend, it's all so super fun!

VERY excited to get to see your (and Eren's) work on the Reunion art in sweet high quality! I'm seeking a bit of clarification: is Fjord's coat a gradient, or is that apparent color shift lightning and shadow?

Also, with all these wonderful details that we can see clearly now—the paint on Jester's corset, the holy symbol on her shoe, the subtle pattern inside Caleb's coat, Luc's bottle caps and knuckle "tats", etc. etc.—what's some of (or one of) your favorite details on the art?

Fjord's coat- omg so. I truly didn't mean to make a gradient, but now that I'm looking at it, it's the only conclusion that I can come to. My honest guess is that I meant to make it all the dark teal color that's on the top, but I forgot to change the bottom to match. There was a bit of zig-zagging greens and blues right at the end, there. The interior lining is def lighter aqua blue waves, though.

My favorite details... hmmm. Well, I have a soft spot for the bits that carried over from Ari's lvl 17 designs. Beau is mostly wearing her expositor stuff, but in a slightly different configuration. The interior of Caleb's coat, Fjord's pauldron (which has been around for A REALLY LONG TIME), Caleb's magic boots, Veth's crossbow.

Oh but here's a fun one- Luc's necklace is a direct reference to a necklace I made at camp when I was in middle school. We had a cool counselor who taught us how to wrap stones in silver wire and we'd use them for divination rituals after lights out (true story!). Mine was a different color, though. I'm not a huge fan of yellow and orange. Luc's palette, of course, represents Veth, his intimate connection to her, and his conflicting desire to differentiate himself from her as much as possible. Teenagers, amiright?

Quinn hadn't cared to venture outside their house much, let alone leave their damn planet, but as one could imagine, the Cabin Fever got to them eventually. So, when Quinn's roommate Sanji offered to take them along as she does an off-world commission, they agreed.

Sanji, being a little too cautious about the situation, gave them a blaster, and a comlink, along with credits to protect themselves in the lower levels of Coruscant. The blaster was a little silly, as if their dangerous mutations weren't already enough...

The place had been rather unnerving to navigate. New patterns, new places, new people, were always at least a little upsetting, despite the curiosity. Thankfully, though, Quinn had finally found a decent spot to take a break. A Cafe. From the windows, it looked warm and inviting.

A little hesitantly, they enter, wearing long, large-heeled black boots reaching their knees, black shorts, and a dark blue, oversized men's shirt with the sleeves rolled up and top buttons undone. Long, black gloves cover their arms to their elbows. An outfit designed a little more for practicality, but with the personal touch of three, layered necklaces, each holding their own type of stone. One holds one that is pointed, polished, and purple. The second is raw and red, wrapped in gold wire. The third is a polished, pink, female body also wrapped in gold wire as if being held in Shibari.

Their tail drags behind them to a degree, despite being curled into a spiral to be smaller, and the wing boning on their back, whilst flat as it can be, are still clearly visible as they poke through hand-stitched holes in the back of their shirt.

Quinn hopes they aren't the strangest customer the Cafe has had. Lots of unnecessary attention is something they don't have much energy for.
