5. How would you describe your writing style? Does your writing style change for different WIPs? If yes, describe all or maybe just a few.

In first person, I really try to pay attention to how I think the characters would say and describe things… it sometimes get murky. I also aim for straightforward prose. I CAN be more poetic, kinda, but my brain doesn’t quite work that way.

for third person, it’s a lot like first to me wherein I keep the character’s viewpoint in mind… just a liiil more distant? It also is more malleable and shifts with whatever I've been reading and obsessed with lol

Yeah, actually!

In my paranormal novel, Lilium, there was originally supposed to be an exorcist character named Red, and she(they?) Were supposed to get a POV. Oliver was never intended to have one. Also, he was supposed to be way more of a soulless, antagonistic dude who was supposed to torment Lilith throught the novel. Buuuut that wasn't working out for me, so I just. Started writing from his perspective one day and it stuck and the rest of the novel just. Unfurled tbh.

Another one has been Elrai in'Elada. She originally came about cause one day I was scribbling name signatures, I guess? Rather, I was scribbling signatures and trying to make names out of them. And hers was one of them, and the only one who turned into an actual character. She started off as a toon I played in MMOs, a green-haired cleric type (especially in Aion... but their cleric class is fucking impossible to play solo) and I tried to implement her that way, but it just wasn't working. But her name just kinda... fit when I was thinking up a character for a wip that didn't go many places. She fits the best the way she is now, though.

Oh and Lili changed a lot, too. Her name was originally Charlotte and she was a placeholder toon when I fucking around with RPG Maker. When I started making the world and plot for her, her base details didn't fit anymore. Her name changed to Saadah, but I still didn't like it so she changed to Lili and also combined with another MMO toon I played a lot, Tsurande Whisperwind. I played her in Aion, too lmao.

Speaking of Lili's project tho, Neku faced some adjusting too. She was originally some kind of dancer, and I had a lot of inspo from An Empire of Sand at the time, but there were some character details I couldn't figure out sooo. Things changed.

I think that's all. I'm a lil inebriated rn so thinking is hard.

ooooh Whisperwind was the very first WIP I introduced here on writeblr, but that's years back. I picked up a job and started to put writing off until I got stuck when I finally had the time to write again and I haven't picked it up since.

Initially, it's the story of two gods who have been forgotten and fell to earth and found a place to live in a small village. One god has a tea shop and the other helps the old flower lady gather flowers in the forest.

Until his magic suddenly comes back and they have to hide it somehow, which, given what type of magic it is, is very much impossible.

Instead of the lenore piece for the discord challenge, i ended up deciding to do something i've wanted to do for p much my whole life, draw some of my fave characters from World of warcraft. Tyrande, is def in the top of those, so here we are. i did decided to go look at her latest info, and i was left confused... i never really liked the black night warrior eyes or markings on her. so i ended up watching the ingame cinematic where Elune talks to the winter queen through her. I was left ... with questions, after elune un-super saiyans tyrande, and we get tyrande back, she no longer has the balck night warrior eyes or the markings, and is back to her previous normal elf appearence, but then immediatly after the cutscene her in-game appaerance is still the night warrior one.... gives me confucious, im gonna take it blizz where literally sadly, to lazy to change her model. so ofc im happy i get to draw tyrande with glowy eyes, im also trying to go more with her old models appearence, bc it was better, the one she has now is literally just the player model, actual yikes.

* the drawing above was made by the amazing @perringdraws . I wanted to use a commissioned drawing of Auster for week 8 since the theme was free but my laptop broke and when I got a functioning replacement, week 8 was beyond over
