georgie changing little by little in the highschool genderbent au? yes. but max also experiencing the gf effect? yes. he stops being late all the time even to class (because georgie would be mad) and stops terrorising the student prefects when they try to enforce the rules (because georgie would be sad). they are truly experiencing some character development here wow they're chuck bass and blair waldorf but if they weren't sadists.

also brocedes parents they're the true childhood sweethearts like met when they were kids and grew up together and finally began dating when they were highschool (angry love confession during a school dance where lewis finally says fuck it because nico looks so lovely and happy and why isn't she with him, if you have seen 'flipped'). they graduate, get rich(er in nico's case, monaco princess ah well), get married, have two adorable demonic children and live happily ever after. georgie adored their love story growing up and secretly wanted what they had. only lando knew about the almost life long crush that she had on alex albon, their own childhood bff. only lando knew how heartbroken she was when he responded 'ha, never in your wildest dreams' to someone joking about georgie and alex together. it made her feel undesirable and she felt lost about love because it was kind of the only kind she felt she knew.

so when georgie starts dating max it worked in a way she didn't anticipate but was better than anything she imagined. - xoxo angst anon

Brocedes are actually so flipped coded. Nico who meet Lewis when they were extremely young and fell for him immediately (baby Nico angrily huffing because Seb is talking to her Lewis >:( )though Lewis doesn’t feel the same and they get separated for a little and are reunited in high school when Nico starts questioning her long time crush on Nico just as Lewis is starting to realize his feelings for Nico. (Cue the winter formal and Lewis angrily huffing cause Jenson is dancing with Nico. His Nico >:( and he interrupts the dance and drag Nico away and finally does his whole angry confession and “cause you looking fucking stunning and your dancing with him when you should be with me!” >:(((( ) and they start dating and finally everything perfect minus that very small massive incident in college where they split up for a bit but everything is perfect and they grow up rich as hell and get a massive house and have two gremlin children

And Georgie fell in love with the story growing up. Her parent were always her idea romance and she always dreamed of having a love like theirs. So when she meet a young Alexander Albon in primary school she falls for hard him and she spend her whole youth being in love with Alex and just kind of assume that their going to be the perfect childhood friend to lover story like her parents. So when he kind of publicly (not realizing she can hear him) responds like that to the idea of being with her her world shatters (she ofc ends up in a car with Max going well over the speed limit because drowning your problems in alcohol and reckless driving is always the solution)

And in the end she falls for Max. Max who she met only 3 years after Alex. Max who she’s known for practically forever. Max who she hated near immediately after she met him. Max who’s been there through so much of her life she can’t really remember a time he wasn’t thereMax who she loves more than anything now.

I just think George looking for his childhood romance in Alex only to find it in Max is kinda neat :)

omg the idea of bad boy max x good little princess george has given me so much gax highschool au brainrot. imagine super coddled george with say brocedes as his parents 👀👀. lewis tries his best to raise him to be #humble but at the same time he *is* the son of the golden prince of monaco, so lmao. george is a nice enough kid but super self assured and confident to the point it comes off as arrogant. so imagine pretty and posh george who is so uptight to the point of pain and wants to always be at the top of anything he does (his parents being the most competitive people on the planet only encourage his endless ambition) and enter max fucking verstappen who is all death glares, bruised knuckles, motorcycle rides and "what i shouldn't do that because princess george is there?" this is also low key can be connected to the academic rivals au you and lh anon were talking about lmao. cue like a group project or they're on the same sports team and then they start dating and they seem to just soften for eachother but it is a nightmare for everyone else including lewis who seems to lose his mind when his baby comes home smelling of leather and with a hickey. sorry rambles of the pro angst anon here.

Lando the forever mutual friend drag George off to a party, and like they have some mutual friends and kind of knew of each other, but this the first time they're meeting and they immediately despise each other. Can barely get two sentences into a conversation without it dissolving into a argument.

Max: So were you born with a stick up your ass or did you have that shoved up their recently?

George: So did you copy your entire personality from outdated 90's characters because you were too unimaginative to make you own or do you actually think this make you look cool?

And the horror George experiences when he learns that he isn't even the top of the school because Max did slightly better than him (something Max ofc hold over him). But as the two brightest of their grade they're sent to this academic conference to give a personation and represent the school and they're forced to work together, and find that okay the other isn't as insufferable as they previously thought. And they maybe, kinda, sorta, start dating without telling anyone

And Lewis who already met and didn't like Max all that much when he came over before to work with George on their presentation is horrified when his precious baby starts sneaking out, not telling him where he's going, coming home late with hickey and wearing a familiar leather jacket. Meanwhile Nico's off to the side actively encouraging this because "they remind me of us when we were younger"

gax highschool genderbend au. have you seen '10 things i hate about you' like that is the dynamic i envision for them (sorry max pookie is no where near as suave as the male lead in that but). they house party scene omg.

the lando and oscar relationship in this au is so compelling like yeah he's a loser and so down bad but oscar thinks he's just so cool and how will he ever like lil ole her *sigh*. georgie patiently listens to oscar shyly talking about this guy in her math class who is super funny and so sweet to her with the prettiest ocean eyes without georgie telling her that's her gremlin brother who wasn't tall enough for roller coasters till like last year lmao.

at the same time georgie peeks at lando's diary (lewis makes them both keep one for emotional regulation and both siblings are assholes who don't understand the concept of privacy) and figures out that oohh this isn't one sided. (when the writing starts getting horny because hello lando is totally the type georgie throws up in her mouth a little but honestly deserved for snooping)

georgie and max are already together at this point (secret relationship ahem) and max loves indulging her and her schemes. they plot to get landoscar together and when they finally do georgie brings out the baby pictures. siblings who love making each other's lives hard. - xoxo angst anon

Okay but Georgie would be so encouraging of Oscar’s crush when she’s unaware of who the guy is because Oscars so sweet and grew on her immediately and this guy obviously makes her really happy and Oscar deserve a good guy. and then Fred shows her a picture of the guy and she’s completely dumbfounded going through every conversation they’ve ever had cause there’s no way in hell Oscar was talking like that about her idiot little brother. Lando who one nearly got them banned from a country club after he drove a golf cart into a lake is the cool popular guy that she likes??? Like Oscars who’s so adorable and smart and extremely talented and could realistically have anyone and has fallen for her dumbass of a brother who spent the last week eating curry he’d left in the freezer for six months and one struggled to get on a ski lift for nearly 10 minutes. (she doesn’t say anything to Oscar though cause obviously Lando makes Oscar really happy and she’s not going to ruin that even if she doesn’t understand it)

But she ofc start brining up Oscar to Lando more trying to gauge his reaction and kind of pick up on the fact that Lando is interested in Lando but because she more than knows about her brothers fuck boy tendencies and she is not going to let him hurt Oscar she starts poking around his diary (Alternate both sibling fully understand privacy they just don’t care when it comes to each other cause where’s the fun in that) it really only takes one page for her to immediately clock the fact that Lando is down horrendously. It’s just pages of him rambling about how pretty and smart and adorable Oscar is (George ofc takes many photos because blackmail is an essential resource in sibling relationships)

She immediately starts scheming about how to get them together and ofc drag Maxy into it (he already knew about Lando’s crush because they are actually friends and Lando is not aware of the whole dating my older sister thing) and he fully indulges her (he cant say no to her) and they do successfully get them together, but their relationship is definitely revealed

both siblings immediately start using this against the other. just Georgie “if you don’t i’ll tell dad about what actually happened to his McLaren.” and Lando immediately shooting back “do that and i’ll tell him about where exactly you were last Saturday and who exactly you were with. “

But George and Lando would be the most amazing sibling pairing. They would just be insults and arguing 24/7 and would very much make it all of their friends problems. God and with brocedes as parents. Worlds most chaotic family. Lando would definetlget paired up with Oscar for some class project and fall so hard so quickly not realizing that Georgie mentors her for like student council or something

God Georgie being that overachiever in school who’s just doing everything somehow. Student council president, top of her classes, tutors other kids. She’s always problem dressed. They would go to the most lax private academy and she would still show up to dressed like there was an official uniform with her skirt past her knees and her hair always slicked back in her neat high ponytail.

Versus bad boy Max with his leather jackets and expensive car. Who always getting in trouble with teachers for his rather blunt attitude and seems like he constantly late and never paying attention yet he’s still getting similar (and sometimes better) grades than Georgie and is in all honors classes.

Just fully back to the trashy romance book I read when I was younger 😩 He’s her little brother best friend and they argue constantly. And he just sees through her little miss perfect act so easily (Max is most definitely dragging a tipsy George off a countertop during a party i don’t make the rules)

cue gax shenanigans and nico and lewis finally spending time with each other again because this george's first relationship and they want to know okay? so idk somewhere between secretly following george on his dates and arguing (read: reminiscing) they kind of reconnect.

*hiding in the bushes* lewis saying 'do they have to be ugh so close to eachother' and nico being like 'um we were wayy worse lewis, or did you forget' and lewis blushing and hissing 'of course i didn't forget, those were some of the best years of my life'.

Lewis and Nico would definitely be the parents who should have gotten divorced but stayed together for the kids meanwhile george spent his childhood just begging for them to sign the damn papers.

And okay but imagine Lewis and Nico already got the paper drawn up, just waiting for George to finish this last year of school before they finally call it quits. They’re living in separate places already and in all senses but legally are just divorced.

Then one day Lewis is knocking on Nico’s door looking for George because of whatever reason and George told him that he was staying over at Nico place for the night, and Nico just stared at him confused cause he was told that Geoege would be staying over with Alex which is not true at all. (They check with George who says he’s over Alex’s and forgot to ask meanwhile they check with Alex who is very confused by all of this)

And so they start following George whenever he goes out and figure out that he’s been sneaking off with Max and Lewis is fully just overprotective dad mode.

Nico on the other hand doesn’t give a shit. George told him about he and Max dating before Lewis came to his place he’s fine with it. He’s met Max and think he’s a perfectly fine young man who makes George do he doesn’t care. He also think Lewis is completely overreacting. And he says absolutely no of this because this is the most he and Lewis have interacted in so long

Like they went from barely speaking and any time they were speaking it was to argue to suddenly together constant, talking 24/7, anytime Max comes to the house Lewis is immediately calling Nico up to come over and he is not letting no this slips away. So he happily goes along with Lewi’s stalking and only lightly point out how insane he’s being.

Bonus: They are shit at stalking and Max totally catches them.

Lewis: do they really need to be sitting that close

Nico: Lewis he’s just showing him something

Lewis: he doesn’t need to be that close for that. There is no part of calculus that requires his hand to be on Georgies ass!

Nico: like you are any better at that age

Max the second George is out of earshot: hey so is this stalking thing gonna be a constant cause it’s like very distracting. Also if you’re going to follow us to a restaurant at least get a table, hiding in the bushes is so weird

more gax thoughts from the genderbent x highschool au because ah well i don't really have much else going on ngl (wow lame).

think one sided rivals to lovers. like georgie who regularly works herself into a frenzy trying to outscore max on a test or trying to get him to follow one of the school's 12475 rules that pretty much no one else does either. they are in the boy's lockroom getting ready for p.e after another one of georgie's special max edition scoldings which ended with some of the usual charming insults (princess, dickhead, kind of spat his dummy out yk the daily gax business). 'yk georgie has always given max an...unusual amount of attention', charles delicately puts. lando instead indelicately and loudly says that's she's straight up batshit when it comes to him but okay that works as well.

max ignoring the actual topic instead calmly says 'don't speak like that about your sister' and gives him a gentle flick to the forehead followed by a head pat. before slipping out the room waving off any further discussion.

But anyways this scolding is different though. And so they’re trying to get to the bottom of this and Charles and Alex and dropping little question just lightly probing at the topic meanwhile Lando is completely oblivious to all that and is just going on an “annoying older sibling” rant

And Lando doesn’t get it until Max makes that comment and suddenly it clicks cause there is no other reason Max of all people would be defending his sister

He immediately starts thinking of ways to use this information to get back at George for all the embarrassing things she’s been saying about him to Oscar

angst anon here, finally finished my college finals so i can get back to my true passion; gax. the whole idea that nico approving of max is rooted in the fact that max is actually similar to lewis. like young lewis was a petty asshole just like nico himself and just like their kid's new boyfriend. like young lewis was canonically a menace and nico liked that about him. sure they're a garbage fire rn especially nico who never seemed to grow out of the drama and always feels so inadequate and a bad parent esp in comparison to father of the year lewis hamilton (another point would be that george even has lewis's last name so its like nico is nothing to either of them). so he thinks like nope this is my time to be the good supportive dad so he becomes a max apologist because he doesn't think there is anything seriously wrong with him and max is like 'not like i don't appreciate but you are kind of a weirdo' and nico is like 'where tf did you think george gets it from'. any thoughts about a brocedes marriage in trouble but they fix it please im begging?

I’m sorry pro angst anon but every brocedes related fic I think off does not end happy. They are like my biggest angst ship. Who knows maybe I’ll rewatch Spain 23 and write an open ended reconciliation fic.

But imagine George and Max going to a dance (prom? Prom) and a Lewis ofc immediately signs up to be a chaperone because he cannot be leaving his baby alone with that pick (especially with the whole myth around prom with it being the place to list your v card 🫢)
