thing for my Winx AU: Disenchantix is not just something that the Trix gained temporarily. It is the witch version of Enchantix that witches can earn. Like with fairies, Witches earn Disenchantix by saving someone from their homeworld. I wanted the requirements to be the same to show that witches are not pure evil.

To explain how the Trix get it in the rewritten season 3 since they’re villains, they probably did what Bloom did with Enchantix and kind of forced it through “sheer will” and not sacrifice, making their Disenchantix incomplete too

Project Beyond Alphea

A couple of days back, i asked you guys if you would be interested in seeing an expansion of my Winx AU in the form of a youtube channel.

Unfortunately, i will not be doing that as it would require a lot of time and energy and i think that i would burn out pretty quickly. However, what i will be doing is sharing my charather designs and plot points on Tumblr in the form of original drawings, screenshot redraws and moodboards ( but that not really ) on tumblr and maybe even instagram !

So what i will be covering is a complete overhaul of Winx canon starting from Secret of the Lost Kingdom to ( hopefully ) Season 6 of the series.

What readers can expect from this is lots of world-building, charather development, further involvement and expansion on lesser but still important charathers such as The company of light, Daphnee, The Earth fairies, Mirta and Lucy and many more.

Roxy will also be reinstated as the seventh winx, but her backstory will be rewritten because i do believe that it has quite a few questionable plot holes.

The specialists will also be further charatherization and backstories, as they are also important members of the winx. Their relationships will also improve and some may even...break up.

So uh, yeah :D. Im excited

So *clap* Believix. Oh god Believix. It's a form that I'm really not keen on. Namely because wtf even is it. A form based on the belief in magic feels redundant, that's like believing in air. And it's supposedly stronger than Enchantix, but why? It's vaguely "stronger" but it's never explained why or how.

So here's my pitch for a rewritten Believix, I'll do my best to make it clear. (I'm basing a lot of my ideas from the comics, so I'm aware than they're not really canon or anything but my god do I love the comics)

The Black Circle cancels out Magical Universe Magic, so the girls can't maintain their transformation when in proximity to it. They detransform against their will. The White Circle, the Black Circle's direct opposite, creates a form to specifically counter that effect. It created Believix. While not a super strong form, it's enough to give the Winx a fighting chance against the Wizards. And it can get stronger when the users help and serve the people, inspiring them to believe in themselves.

(No Sophix or Lovix forms, love them but just no)

Please note that they do get wings in this form, I just haven't drawn them yet. Wings are not my strong suit. But they’re not the stupidly giant canon wings, like damn why they so big

Visually, and this is liable to change, the outfits are inspired by earth's interpretation of fairies. And kept simple because I don't think you need to be overly complicated to show its a powerful form. Also this is an au where the forms post Believix don’t exist. So I feel no shame stealing elements from Bloomix for this, since it no longer exists ahahahaha I adore the shawls from Bloomix, so I’m recycling them here

Hey Sol. I've seen some of your Winx Reignited content and I am loving it. I especially love what you did with Charmix, as I love the outfits and find them to be both pretty and cute.

Anyways, I was wondering if I could ask you something about rewrite stuff. You see, I'm currently in my Ben 10 Reboot hyperfixation phase and, being an aspiring writer myself, am developing a fanfiction rewrite for the series called Ben 10 Reboot Reimagined (though I should note that it's possible that the fanfic's name could change in the future). It's currently in its early development stage (as I have a wip for the rewrite's premiere + a notebook (which is fittingly green given that's the main color of Ben 10 himself) talking about my rewritten fanfic au) and I'm having some trouble with planning things out for the rewrite itself. So, I thought maybe I could ask you for some rewrite advice given you've posted ideas of your Winx rewrite on your blog (which are great btw).

Do you have any advice & tips on how to plan a rewrite out (ex. episodes (rewritten or fanmade), worldbuilding, arcs (plot & character-related), characters (including ocs & self-inserts), etc) from experience with your Winx Reignited project?

First I would like to state i’m kinda bad at advice but i’ll try to explain how my rewrite is kinda in development

I don’t really view the story episode by episode I mostly view it story point by story point so all the filler already kinda falls out so you are left with the more basic straightforward plot. So that you can later ad in own filler and character moments.

With some parts you might wanna stick closer to the canon while with other parts you might wanna completely redo them depending on like plo5 holes and inconsistencies

Mos5 important factor is to make it so it stays enjoyable to work on

Some characters might be more the focus of your ideas while others aren’t and that’s no problem sometimes the chats weren’t even canonicaly important and they still end up becoming your favorite!

Some elements can feel more like a puzzle that was put together in a way that doesn’t really make sense so it’s good to try and have a look at what points you can alter/move/remove to make the story flow better

And sometimes you get 1 small idea and it ends up magically fixing stuff and sometimes you gotta look back and see if then things you added were also affected and how to change it.

Do you perhaps know any FF that deals with the whole Sky reveal from Stella or Brandon's POV. I always thought we didn't see enough. We didn't even see him trying to contact her ..

I’m not great with remembering fics let alone their names and authors. But perhaps @yel-it might be able to recommend you something along those lines?

But the phantom didn’t seem to notice any of it, not as a brilliantly bright golden ball of light appeared above her head.  She raised her hands to it.

“The Ultimate Power,” she breathed.

No, no, no.  No!

And indeed it was.  They all, even Darkar and the creature included, stopped and turned to look at it.  Pure power radiated from it, they could all feel it, all felt its draw, but it was the phantom that it hovered over.  It was the phantom that it slowly descended towards.  And it was the phantom’s chest that it slowly disappeared into it.

“No!” the creature screamed, rage twisting its already twisted features.

“Yes!” Darkar roared, a terrifying grin stretching across his mouth.

“Bloom,” Sky whispered in despair.

The phantom’s chest heaved with exhilaration as the Ultimate Power took hold within her.  The gold in her eyes bled outward until it was no longer just a ring around her pupil but a solid unearthly colour.  But it didn’t stop there, her entire body seemed to glow golden with the strength of the Ultimate Power.  She breathed in deeply and out and the world seemed to tremble before her.

Power.  So.  Much.  Power.

Inside of her, Bloom went still and quiet as she felt the Ultimate Power overtake her.  It was incredible, it was overwhelming, and it was unlike anything else she had ever felt before.

Still crowing in delight, Darkar melted the last of the ice from around his ankles with a wave of his hand.  Shrieking with rage, the creature leapt forward, talons extended like they might claw the Ultimate Power right out of Bloom’s chest, but the phantom stopped them with a single hand, slamming them back against a crumbling pillar, knocking them unconscious.  Darkar’s shadowed wings appeared on his back and unfurled, launching him into the air.

“Nicely done, my dear,” he said, actually sounding proud.  “Now, hand the Ultimate Power over to me.”

Realix seemed to stand still as they all waited to see what the phantom would do.  Sky, Stella, Lockette and the rest of Bloom’s friends all wanted to cry and beg and plead with her not to do it but their voices seemed to have deserted them.  Darkar hovered in the air, the picture of greed with his hand outstretched as he waited for the power to be handed over.  Locked within herself, Bloom had almost lost herself to the Ultimate Power, feeling it thrum to her veins, but even she waited to see what the phantom would do.

Power washing over her, coursing through her veins, pouring out of her mouth, her eyes, so much that she couldn’t breath for it.  It was her and she was it.  Power.

“No.”

The phantom spoke the word into the stillness of Realix and a shudder went through the place and the people within it.

“Oh shit,” Musa whispered, the only one who seemed to be able to find the capacity to speak.

The eyes of the fairies, heroes, and pixies flicked between Darkar and the phantom, watching as he digested what she had said.

Darkar, still beating his wings to hover in midair, slowly curled the fingers of his outstretched hand until they formed a fist and dropped it to his side.

“No?” he asked, voice tight but pleasant.  “What do you mean ‘no’?”,

The phantom seemed amused.  “I mean, I will not fucking give you the Ultimate Power.”

“She’s in there?” Darcy asked curiously, and the phantom finally looked away from her own reflection, glancing over to where the Trix were watching her.

Let me out! Bloom screamed soundlessly at the phantom, once again banging nonexistent hands against the walls of her mind that held her.

The phantom curled Bloom’s lips up into a wicked smile and stalked closer, enjoying the way the witches stiffened.

Let me out!  Let me out!  Let me out!

“Oh, she certainly is.  You should hear the way she screams.”

Bloom could only hiss her anger this time and the phantom giggled, covering her mouth with a sooty hand.

“Bloom is supposed to be ours,” Icy said furiously, turning glittering eyes on Darkar.  “It was bad enough that you didn’t tell us about this part of the plan, but now you let this thing torment what is supposed to be ours-!”

“Enough,” Darkar snapped, and the air grew colder as Icy clenched her fists.  Sephiron, the paladin who had posed as Avalon, shifted but didn’t intervene.  Darkar rose from his throne and held out a hand for the phantom to take, nodding in approval as he scanned her from top to bottom.  “Just a small token of appreciation for coming to hear me out, and I must say it suits you, my dear.”

Stormy pretended to gag in the background.

Darkar ignored her, settling those burning eyes on the phantom.  “Have you given any thought to my proposition?”

Because as the occupants of Shadowhaunt had quickly realised upon the phantom’s arrival, they might have created her, but they had no idea how to control her.

The little orange light on Timmy’s panel had turned red, and the words scrolling along the bottom had picked up intensity.  Then a cool male voice started speaking.  “Warning.  Warning.  Red Wing 2 has reached critical damage.  Warning.  Warning.  Dock Red Wing 2 immediately.  Warning.  Warning.  Red Wing 2 has reached critical damage.  Warning…”

“Give it up, Sky,” Helia said calmly.  “How long has your display been shot?”

Sky was silent for a long moment as he got the Red Wing levelled out and continued to circle the cavern.

“It hasn’t been right since it got hit by the Trix’s magic.”

“You idiot,” Riven cursed bitterly.

“You’re going to have to come in, Sky,” Timmy said calmly, already preparing to open the hangar doors.

He was surprised therefore by Sky’s vehemence as he burst out, “No!  I’ll be fine.  You need to go on and get to Bloom.  We’ve cleared enough of the monsters.”

“Don’t be stupid,” Brandon said tightly.  “We’re not leaving you behind.  Come in, Sky.”

“Can’t you manually override the Red Wing and force it to dock?” Musa asked Timmy, but he was shaking his head before she’d even finished the question.

“Re-docking while in flight is already hard enough, I wouldn’t even try to attempt it without Sky’s cooperation.”

“Come in, Sky,” Riven said, voice hard.

“He’s being stupid,” Digit said in disgust.

“No,” Amore said, her eyes misty.  “He’s in love.”

“I’ll be fine, guys,” Sky insisted, even as his Red Wing gave a dangerous wobble.  “Bloom’s the one who needs you now.”

“Warning.  Warning.  Re-dock Red Wing 2 immediately.”

“If you need a reason for us to save you first, then think about Bloom!” Brandon was yelling from the weapons pod.  “We’re going to get her back and then what?  I’ll have to explain to her that you died trying to save her?  How’s that going to make her feel, Sky?  You need to come in.”

The intercom was silent as Sky completed another lap of the cavern.

“Alright,” he finally said, sounding defeated.  “Red Wing 2 is coming in to re-dock.”
