DIY clay gift tags

           This simple project only took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. All you need is polymer clay (I used Sculpey), a rolling pin, an xacto knife, and an object that you can use to trace out the name tags. 

Start by kneading the clay with your hands, just to get it warmed up. Then, roll it out with the rolling pin on a flat surface. Place the tracing object of your choice on top of the clay, and using your xacto knife, cut around the object and into the clay to create the tag. 

            Next step, add some texture! I used a toothpick to give it a cross-hatched look. Bake the tags in the oven, according to your clay's instructions. 

           You can leave the tags blank, or personalize them like I did. Either way, it adds a nice and thoughtful touch to any gift!

          Attach it to your gift and you're done!

When you have no life and your child is gone... I went to 2 stores and they were both out of white spray paint so I had to paint these pinecones by hand. I ended up making a water/paint solution and dipping them and I liked the way that came out better. Just have to wait for Kal-El to get home so he can decorate them. Because I'm restless and losing my mind, I decided to make some butters. Making a whipped coconut oil and Shea butter body butter and another for my hair. I add some things to them but I forgot the vitamin e oil. My skin and hair hate the winter. I have at least 3 other Christmas crafts not including decorating. I would say I need a hobby but...
