My upcoming post is about this gorgeous lace fabric I can't believe I had stashed in my closest for 2 years?!!!

Final skirt muslin...Originally I was thinking a dirndl skirt but after I sewed the top I just had to go with a more fitted sheath skirt. I think the diagonal pleats with create more shimmer in the evening lights at the masquerade. I'm ready to cut in the final fabric...I think.

Adult hat with ear flaps version 1! I made a few changes...the ear flap us slimmer, the front is wider and the crown is rounder but it's basically a larger version of the toddler one I made last year.
The finished head circumference is 22" and I keep forgetting how thick 2 layers of fleece is 😖 so it ended up fitting Madeline. I think I'll use the slashing method to grade it up to a 23.5" circumference with the slashes in the front and back of the hat.
