Blessed Winter Solstice! Here Are Some Of The Crystals I’m Working With Today:

1. Red Garnet

Today I’m using red garnet (a tumbled stone and two bracelets) to empower my intentions of starting fresh on this beautiful beginning of Yule! It truly is a great stone for renewal and vitality, so I associate it heavily with the Winter Solstice energy, as well as the energies of winter months in general. Here is a video by one of my fav YouTubers that explains more of the properties of red garnet!

2. Clear Quartz

This crystal reminds me of ice, and the Norse rune Isa. I love how it amplifies the energy of the other stones I’m using (in this case red garnet), and also connects me to my spiritual guides and the gods with its pure vibes. I’m wearing it in the form of a bracelet, stacked with my red garnet bracelets so it amplifies those renewing intentions and helps me embrace this solstice. 3. White Opal

I’m currently wearing my favorite white opal ring my abuela gifted me when I was a kid. For some reason my hands haven’t grown very much since I was that younger so it still fits me perfectly! I love the energies of white Ethiopian opal because (like it’s flashy surface) it brings out all the best colors in the wearer’s personality. It also helps me be wiser with the choices I make, bringing clarity to each choice and it’s consequences. It’s definitely a stone with a bad reputation and some people will say you can only wear it if you’re an October baby (which I’m not). But I’ve work this ring for almost five years and it’s been nothing but beautiful in its energy and I’d even consider it lucky! It works well with clear quartz and red garnet because while the garnet is renewing my energy and the clear quartz is amplifying all the good vibes, white opal is helping me recognize my inner beauty! December 2022: Winter Solstice

This is what the rest of our week is looking like weather-wise. I went out & got enough gas to last for two days on our generator since freezing precipitation, high winds & the brittleness of pine trees is a proven recipe for power outages. Hope everyone stays safe & warm:
