do you ever post psds you make or use? how do you do your coloring? thanks for any help you can provide!

i haven’t posted a psd yet, but maybe i will at some point! i keep my gg colouring pretty simple. it’s all about curves layers to brighten midtones and slightly deepen shadows. i use a colour balance layer and levels layer to just slightly adjust the colouring of the scene (mostly in shadows), since i like gg’s natural colour scheme anyway. i’ll often lower the vibrance a bit, but sometimes i’ll boost the vibrance, it depends on which colours are in the scene (generally any daytime outdoor scenes are good to be more vibrant). for reference, these are the adjustment layers in my main basic psd:

occasionally, i don’t like how this psd looks on a certain scene so i just scrap it all and colour from scratch (i think it’s generally pretty obvious when i do that, it’s not often), but i use this base at least 90% of the time. 

recently i’ve started to add a black and white gradient map set on soft light and at a low opacity (like 20%ish or lower), more curves and then a dark brown photo filter. but i haven’t posted any gifs yet with that kind of colouring. :)
