Truly amazing how Kaladin MostElegibleBachelor Stormblessed fumbled SO many baddies in the span of like 3 years (Tarah, Moash, Shallan, Adolin, Lyn) but Szeth McSerial Killer managed to lock down the first elegible woman he met after his Main Quest was over

Sometimes a friend group is a 37 year old former assassin who caused a whole bunch of political upheaval by killing a lot of guys, hears the voices of those he killed, and has realized he wants a life of peace, a 800+ year old talking sword who really wants to destroy evil but is beginning to realize he has questions about what that means, a 22 year old former highmarshal who accidentally invented therapy, is learning one song on a flute to try and relax, and trying to find a healthy work- life balance, a 1000+ year old spren who's basically god's daughter and a princess who is also learning how to have a healthy work-life balance with her friend, and a 7000+ year old herald who believes in following the law to the letter, really hates that one song, and does not believe in a healthy work- life balance.

::: MINOR SPOILERS for Wind and Truth:::: Happy (belated) New Year to all of you here on Tumblr! May Connection and Fortune favor us all! ✨ While reading Wind and Truth I really enjoyed their parts. Somehow with that came a feeling that I wanted to express in an illustration for my New Years post ... something like levity, perhaps hope? It feels like we all need it. So here is the Shinovar roadtrip party not being miserable. 😅

It’s funny to imagine being Nale in the final moments of WaT. Like here you are about to imprint your morals on this suicidal man who your work friend has been grooming since he was 9 to replace your other work friend who is dead, & all you have left to do is kill this dude Kaladin stormface, who is supposed to be this amazing fighter… and this motherfucker pulls out a magic flute, & starts serenading your ass with the worst rendition of a nursery song you’ve ever heard in your life

ok so I don’t think szeth should be in the back five because his arc wrapped up beautifully and all that and please just let this man be happy with his wife on their sheep farm together. However, if he is to be in the rest of the books then I would like it to just cut jump to them from time to time (bonus points if it’s always in the middle of some epic fight scene) tending their sheep and narrating their life like some little National Geographic documentary about sustainable farming or somthin.

i have this hilarious headcanon of a storm hitting manhattan. and not even the borders of camp half-blood can protect the demigods from the damage. so while all of the campers are ducked away in their cabins until it passes. percy "son of the stormbringer" jackson is the only mf out and frolicking through the fields like he's rented out the property. half-bloods watching from the safety of their cabin as this man is shimmy-ing across the way. sitting proudly at his table in the dining hall and munching on his pancakes lmao
