Hi everyone! Well, it took me more than a year to finish it, but it's here: the new version of my save file! It contains two worlds complete makeovers (Windenburg and Willow Creek). I wanted to upload it to SimFileShare, but it seems the site has a file size limit now (and support doesn't answer emails). So everything is now on Gdrive!

You can download two versions: the cc version or the nocc version. I’d recommend choosing the cc version so that my Sims look the same in your game as they do in mine and so you can fully enjoy gameplay in most of my community lots.

🟣 CC version: I used cc only for CAS and mods only for community lots (Auto Employees) and personalization (More Selectable Icons). ➡️ Almost all the cc you need is included in the download file, but you also need the cc listed on my Patreon post.⬅️

🔵 NO CC version: no cc is needed for this save file to work, but I did use all of the packs.

⚡⚠️THERE IS A BUG related to rental residentials that makes off lot objects disappear if you don’t have TOOL. So I’d highly recommend having the mod in your game, even if you download the nocc version.⚠️⚡

I wanted to have a few starter homes in my save file, so when I had to renovate this old lot, I did my best to lower its price. Even with the limited budget, I’m quite happy with the decor, and since there’s plenty of space around the lot, you can easily expand the house!

Probably the last build to go on my gallery for a while, as I'll be going offline before the patch. Modern homes = greater costs = uglier interiors lol. But it has good bones for when your Sims eventually have enough money to redecorate. There's even a welcome gift plate of food left out by my gourmet cooking level playtester, which is sure to taste better than that fruitcake...

Floral Sims Legacy Challenge

Welcome!

Welcome to my sims legacy challenge! I know a few challenges have been made around floriograhphy but hey, I wanted to give it a go too! All the sims are based around an aspect of nature within the sims - some more obvious than others. The most important thing is enjoying this challenge - don’t worry if things go awry and you don’t complete it all! A flower can lose a petal and still flourish, as can you with this challenge! 

Some general rules here, no big deal if you bend them a little

Cheats can be used, just not excessively

If you have an extra traits mod, spouses can have more traits but please keep to just 3 with the heirs!

The heir can be any gender unless stated otherwise

With each gen, start with 20,000 - spend as much as you want building/furnishing a house or move into a premade starter and save your simoleons

Please use the lot traits if specified however if none are you can use any! If there are traits specified feel free to use any more around it, but give priority slots to specified ones!

There is a little hint for each generation

  Career: Gardening career - botanist

  Rules:

Win a chicken competition

Always live in Henford-on-Bagley once a young adult

Have a large garden - always have at least 1 farm animal once a young adult

Only adopt children - have a better relationship with animals than children

Befriend a rabbit, bird, and fox, and have them help with gardening - have no sim friends (Not including family sims)

Hint: Dogs can help scare off foxes if there are too many

 Flower meaning: Devotion; affection

Colours: Yellow, peach

Your parents spent much more time caring for their garden when you were younger, and so you spent much more time making friends within the neighbourhood. However, you could never deny the beauty of seeing all the flowers blooming during the summer. Now you’ve moved to a near by town and are living in the heart of the city. Times might be difficult but you always have your friends to care for you.

  Traits: Dance machine, Insider, and Lactose intolerant

  Aspiration: Leader of the pack

  Career: Gardener (Floral designer branch)

  Rules:

Live in the main town of Windenburg once a Young adult

Once a teen, go to the cafe at least once a week, and go to the club every friday night

Own a retail store selling flower arrangements

Have 5+ friends and maintain good contact

 Flower meaning: Innocence; childhood; purity

Colours: White and pale yellow

Your parents were always very popular, growing the most beautiful flowers. This inspired you to want to center all decor and rooms within your home around beautiful plants. Now, you have the opportunity to bring the joy and beauty of flowers and plants into the lives of many sims.

  Traits: Maker, Art lover, and Vegetarian

  Aspiration: Master Maker

  Career: Interior Decorator

  Rules:

Max fabrication, floral arrangement and photography skill

Always live in an apartment with a balcony - grow flowers on the balcony

Have lots of floral prints

Make floral arrangements with your parent every sunday whilst still living at home

Fall in love with your childhood sweetheart and get promised whilst a teen

Use candles as your main source of lighting within the bedroom and living room

Attend the romance festival everytime it is on (unless impossible eg on holiday, a death etc)

Hint: The romance festival is in the fashion district - living here might make it easier to visit

 Flower meaning: Everlasting friendship

Colours: Bright Orange, Bright purple

Ahh, the city. What an inspiring place. Full of people who really grind your gears, but hey! At least you can always trust your little cat and dog friends to be there for you. But seeing them hurt? Now your heart is set, it's calling you… you need to be a vet. You set off with a little cash to set up your own vet clinic, but now you seem to be gaining a good reputation with the animals, because they keep showing up at your home…

  Traits: Animal enthusiast, Vegetarian, and Hot-headed 

  Aspiration: Friend of the animals

  Career: Vet

  Rules:

Open a vet clinic

Max pet training and veterinary skill

Achieve a 5-star level vet clinic

Always have the lot traits cat and dog hangout once moving out

Finish the feather collection

Conceive your child in the lighthouse

Once a young adult, always have at least one plant of catnip

Hint: Feathers can be collected by both Sims and pets

 Flower meaning: My regrets follow you to the grave

Colours: White; Dark Blue

Being self-sufficient when it comes to food has always been a dream for you. Unfortunately, when it comes to your families lineage of green thumbs… you fall a bit short. In a burst of anger at your lack of gardening talent, you go to the nearest water bank, and see a fish. This lights a spark in you, and now you seem to always be fishing!

  Traits: Hot-headed, Loves outdoors, and Slob

  Aspiration: Angling Ace

  Career: Fisherman (part time)

  Rules:

Finish the fish collection

Max fishing, cooking and gourmet skill

Cook using fish at least once a week once a young adult

Enter and conceive your first child in the secret lot in willow creek

Fall in love when a young adult/adult but don’t marry until an elder

Always have a pond in your garden, but never any plants

Become best friends with a mermaid and have an affair with them

Hint: The secret lot is by a very special tree in the cheapest area of willow creek - the fish there are worth more

 Flower meaning: Thank you for a lovely time

Colours: Mauve; lavender

Watching those cute little fish as a child was always resonated with you maybe more than others. But seeing the way your parent would end up killing them? That made you M-A-D! Now, you’ve gotten a fresh start - its time to relax in the fresh seas of Sulani and befriend the natives! Hey, maybe you might even discover something about yourself whilst you’re there too…

  Traits: Child of the ocean, Hot-headed, and Child of the island (and Mermaid)

  Aspiration: Beach life

  Career: Conservationist

  Rules:

Befriend a dolphin

Complete the seashell collection

Achieve a 4+ star rating on doing odd jobs

Save the world by being a conservationist

Grow a coconut or pineapple! Or maybe even more than one…

Always live in Sulani once a young adult but choose to sleep in water

Befriend all village locals Sulani - its good to be friendly

Hint: You can clean up the beaches without being a conservationist - it might be a good idea to get a head start and start as a teen!

 Flower meaning: Courage; Daring

Colours: White; cream

Your parent was inspirational - they saved your whole island! But… know the harsh reality of seeing the state of the rest of the world has dawned on you. Well, you know what they say, go big or go home! You want to bring this eco-madness far out of just Sulani!

  Traits: Green Fiend, Recycle Disciple, and Maker

  Aspiration: Eco Innovator

  Career: Civil Designer

  Rules:

Live in evergreen harbour and achieve all green zones

Live off the grid with the reduce and recycle lot trait

Own Beetles once a young adult

Max the juice fizzing and fabrication skill

Hint: The natural well trait is really useful - as well as the dew collector and solar panels

 Flower meaning: Ingenuity; cleverness

Colours: Pale pink; pale purple

With the air finally clear, now you can see the stars. It’s beautiful, right? But you can’t help it, you are longing for more. What’s beyond our planet? Through hard-work and dedication, perhaps you can finally get up to space. Maybe it will be phenomenal? Who knows?

  Traits: Ambitious, Overachiever, and Genius

  Aspiration: Nerd Brain

  Career: Scientist

  Rules:

Go to SIXAM

Max rocket science skill and fully upgrade rocket

Woohoo in space

Finish the space rock collection

Grow a fang flower, glow orb and quill fruit

 Flower meaning: We shall overcome scandal and slander

Colours: Black; ruby

You never were afraid of the dark, were you? I guess it’s hard to be when your parent lives up in the dark of space. But did you cross the boundary when you befriended a vampire, and asked them to turn you? Maybe… who knows? Thing is, drinking from people is so much more awkward than it looks. Luckily, plasma fruit and plasma packs are the best! 

  Traits: Clumsy, Music Lover, and Gloomy (and vampire)

  Aspiration: Master Vampire

  Career: None - part time jobs can be done if hours are within 6 pm to 6 am

  Rules:

Be turned into a vampire as a teen or young adult

Graft a death flower - save your lover from death of old age (or early demises) and then turn them so you can be in love forever

Resist drinking from anyone - only use plasma fruit and plasma packs (recommended to grow plasma fruit on lot)

Unlock the ‘guilty drinker’ and ‘sloppy drinker’ weakness

Max the vampire lore and pipe organ skill

Become a grand master vampire

Complete the elements collection

Hint: Vampires with a maxed vampiric strength skill can crush crystals and metals so you don’t have to send them to the lab -it's much quicker!

Hi all -- let me introduce you to my potential Tiny Fandom Town lot! I made this a few weeks ago so I 'd have it ready if and when I do the challenge, and I figured I'd share it with all of you. :) Let me take you through all the Pertinent Points --

-->The lot was built on the 64x64 lot on the Crumbling Isle neighborhood in Windenburg, where the Villareal family normally lives (the "Von-Windenburg Estate" lot). I wanted to do the challenge in Windenburg as I rarely actually play in that neighborhood, and, as I have stated in previous posts on this subject, I enjoy the idea of building up the whole island via Community Space lots as the town grows and evolves. :)

-->Also as per previous posts, the lot has the Lot Challenges Off The Grid, Reduce & Recycle, Simple Living, Creepy Crawlies, Wild Foxes, and Wild Prairie Grass to help represent that this is an entirely new and undeveloped bit of land, not hooked up to any municipal power or water and still under the control of nature. However, it does also have the Lot Traits of Natural Well, Geothermal, and Sunny Aspect -- the first two to help offset the pains that being "off the grid" brings (they help boost water gathering and power production, respectively), the last because -- well, the lot IS situated on a very scenic bit of the island, so it's no wonder the sunset would make Sims happy, inspired, or energized. :)

-->As you can see, the lot is divided into seven mini-lots, arranged in a rough horseshoe shape and marked with terrain paint and a bit of Werewolf raggedy fencing at each corner. Each lot comes with a little natural stick lamp for nighttime lighting; a pee/woohoo bush; a tent; and a cooler. Basically the absolute basics a roughing-it Sim needs to survive. Beside the very first lot in the horseshoe on the left, I have also set up a wash basin and clothesline, because I would like to force the Sims living here to deal with laundry on top of everything else. Because why not, you know? :p

-->The whole thing costs roughly $18,166! Because I really wanted it to actually be under the $20K starter home price so that a Sim fresh from CAS could purchase it and still have a little money left over to get the stuff they'd need for their first skill. No "free real estate" cheat needed here!

So for the next milestone gift, since it's a big one, I'm doing a few builds. Right now I'm working on a suburban home (no pack limit). But I wanted to get some input or suggestions for the other ones! Might do a poll too

So ending the last session of the Sims, I randomly roll from all of the households that are currently in homes and today we’re heading on over to Windenburg and the Lonely Artist household, aka Gunther Munch! But why is he called the Lonely Artist?

The Story thus Far

So, while Gunther was living with his mother, he met Salim Benali, his co-worker. The two bonded over their mutual bookish ways and were wed. And thus did the two break off from the Munch household, ready to live life by themselves. But alas, an accident happened in Salim’s life, and thus is Gunther all alone. Aka, Neighborhood Stories claimed Salim while the household was inactive. The Random Number God is fickle that way. Also, Mila Munch was also taken by the hands of Grim in an accident, Wolfgang has fled from Windenburg and Lucas is missing? Hmm. What could have happened? Who knows if we’ll find out~

Anyway, Gunther is in this nice home in the plaza of Windenburg. Instead of leaving it’s basic starter home status be, I downloaded a home off of a gallery. A very cozy home in the middle of town. Which was done by a simmer named PikeSims!

All I really did was turn what was a kid’s bedroom and a playroom into two seperate offices for Salim and Gunther. Alas! Alack and woe! Futures lost!

Anyway, it’s time to sell most of the belongings that were Salim’s and pack up the rest that’s personal to Gunther and head on off to the old family home. Coorinburg Cottage. Because someone has to take care of the old Munch family home, and if Gunther’s brother says it’s too much, then he’ll do it himself!

Ooof. Even with selling our furniture from the old home, that’s still quite a dent. I remember that Wolfgang’s excuse for leaving was the upkeep of the home. Still, Gunther’s far along in his food critic career! I did the math! He can afford this place!

Well, that was before I remodelled this bedroom just a little. We’ll see if that’s still the case after. No. I don’t know what to do with that corner. There’s a reason I download things off of the gallery in the first place.

Anyway, I had Gunther munch on some leftover salmon and then took a nap. He’s sleep need is low and he has work in a bit. Two hours until work. Not much time but time enough to at least do something related to his wants and whims. It’s to get a premotion at work. Gunther’s aspiration is the Renaissance Sim one which means he wants three jobs at level 3, which I’ve already completed, and level 8 in 6 skills. He’s only got two of those but he’s got several at level 7. And the first one that grabs my interest is the logic one. Which...means I thankfully have a use for that corner now. A good place for a chess set. And a small telescope outside. I don’t think of him as super into the stars but perhaps if it’s clear outside, it would be nice.

Anywho! It’s time to work! And we’re “working from home!” Why is it in quotations?

This is why! We gotta head on out and about and go and review some food! Let’s see what’s local around here… we literally have the bar down the lane, the Shreiking Llama, so that’s where we’ll start at!

Gunther has a few more options here on this bar top. ...I kinda more want to review drinks since this is an actual bar that just only has bar food but hey. I can at least order a drink to go along with said food. Since he immedately also went to chatting with the bartender when eating, I decided to introduce myself as well to him. And did my standard greeting of WHOM ARE YOU, WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING!? Aka, Get to Know and Ask for Career. It’s a good way to note which people I’ve actually chatted with as Gunther instead of when Gunther is chatted with by others. Because at this moment, all whom Gunther really knows is his brother, Wolfgang.

Anyway, time to ruin this place’s culinary reputation because the food was bad! Gunther would know, he has refined tastes. It’s time to write up about it!

Now at any point, you can write in your column in your food blog. Or perhaps it’s writing up an article. But if you have a positive or negative moodlet from your food experiences, you’ll get a better payout! And, ya know, it’s quite fitting. Also ties into that second job thing of “write for two hours.” So, on the spot review we go! We earned a nice 700 bonus from the inspirations. Nice nice!

Gunther’s energy need is still low so we’re heading back home and taking another snooze before we find another spot to review. Only a brief nap though. It’ll also hopefully reset his sleep schedule a little bit before he needs to work again. Next things next! Let’s find dinner! Even if he isn’t that hungry. The needs of a food critic are demanding! After a quick search for art on the computer. Gotta get that small inspiration buff!

Windenburg has two cafes, another bar and two nightclubs to hop into. Hmm. Hmm. Hmmmmm. Not real good suppertime options between them but, it’s still important to report on such places that are open anyway.  I think I’ll go with the Narwhal Arms, the more undergound bar. Time to see what the local fish and chips are like! And maybe chat with the nearby folks. Maybe. Well, I say maybe but the Sims do so automatically. Still bleh tasting food! Will he ever find anything up to his supreme standards?

Oh and I spotted a werewolf and a ghost in this place. As nightclubs attract anyone with high dance skill and that’s practically any sim I play since you gotta dance to the tunes! A full raging werewolf at that. Might want to leave quick and go somewhere else. And I know where to go!

The fancy shopping and other venue district of Windenburg! Now, I could be here for this nightclub’s food but there’s usually a food stall op-

Aha! Seasons introduced some seasonal food stalls all around some of the older worlds. And I thought that reviewing one of these would be a nice finisher to the dining experiences. Granted, that’s if the vendor spawns. I’ll give it until 9 for that.

Annd they didn’t pop up. Shame. Dessert would have been nice. MORE BAR FOOD AT BARS! We’ll end this with a pretzel. Really want some ice cream though… Anyway, the food here is...actually decent! Good to know that the highest end nightclub sells the good stuff, even if it isn’t up to Gunther’s highest expectations.

He’s utterly exhausted and yet! We must not sleep! He needs to still write for 2 hours! Let’s practice our writing before heading off to bed. Which we do and now we sleep!

A starter home in Windenburg for a single sim in the Tudor/German architecture style made using base game and Get Together only.

What bothers me about this particular lot is that there is terrain paint that matches the world but for some reason its 3 shades lighter??? Why tho.
