A soft pair of lips places what seemed to be the hundredth kiss on your cheek, finally waking you up. You open your eyelids, only to be met with his brown orbs staring ever so lovingly into your eyes. You give him a soft smile, too lazy to bother talking for now.

"Good morning belladonna" he whispers, kissing your nose playfully. You lean closer and bury your face into his chest, looking for the kind of warmth only your lover's body can provide you. Dazai chuckles at your adorable reaction "Someone's remarkably clingy today" he pulls you closer to his form, gently caressing your back.

"What time is it?" you murmur as you let a yawn escape your lips. "Don't worry about it love, we still got time" he replies and you just know he didn't even check the time, "Osamu" your boyfriend doesn't fail to notice the change in your tone, "Come on now baby, relax" he kisses the top of your head, trying his best to convince you to stay in bed with him.

You turn around, stretching your hand to grab on your phone, sitting on the nightstand behind you, while Dazai's hands never loose their grip on your waist. Your eyes widen upon seeing the numbers 7:30 on full display in your lockscreen, "Osamu we're gonna be late!" you shout at the brunette, who's clearly unbothered that he's running late for work yet another time, "Hmm no fair, i was patiently waiting for you to wake up and instead of rewarding me with morning cuddles, you're abandoning me for work?" he complains in a melodramatic tone, placing a kiss at the nape of your neck. Despite his tempting offers to keep you in bed, you attempt to break free from Dazai's strong arms, without accomplishing much, "Baby i'm really not looking to get fired today"

"No, don't leave yet, let's stay like this for a little longer"

You hear your boyfriends dramatic whines as he pulls you closer to his warm body, with his face buried into your neck. It's been a while since you've seen Dazai being so clingy and desperately seeking for your affections and the fact that your busy schedules didn't allow you to have moments like this lately, made it even harder for you to resist his loving touch.

"I guess.." you finally break the silence while turning back around to face your lover "I could call in sick for today" Dazai's eyes lighten up like a kid who was just granted his favorite toy, "Oh no!" he sarcastically declares before pressing his lips against yours, pecking them gently "I guess I have to stay and nurse you then, hmm?"

"The Supreme Court on Thursday [June 13, 2024] unanimously preserved access to a medication that was used in nearly two-thirds of all abortions in the U.S. last year, in the court’s first abortion decision since conservative justices overturned Roe v. Wade two years ago.

Note: A massive relief and a genuine victory - this will preserve access to the medication used in 2/3rds of abortions last year, for at least another 2 years. (Probably minimum time it will take Republicans to get their next attempt before the Supreme Court.)

A loud sigh escapes your lips, as you walk inside your empty apartment. You just returned from possibly one of the worst dates you've ever been on, so to say you're relieved that you came back to the comfort of your home was an understatement. It's not like your date was an asshole or anything, far from that he was quite the gentleman. It was your own mind that made this date insufferable.

Every time the other man complimented you, opened the door for you, even simply looking at you, you couldn't help but think of your ex lover being in that position instead. Thinking about his sweet comments every time he saw you, even if all you were wearing was your pajamas. Him making sure you don't have to lift even a finger even for the smallest things, like opening the car door for you. His soft gaze observing you whenever you talked, no matter what you were saying.

Your train of thought was interrupted by the knock on your door. You don't expect any visitors, especially this late at night. You slowly open the door, only to face the very man running circles around your head all day. The man in question being no other than your ex, Nakahara Chuuya.

"What.. what are you doing here?" you almost whisper with a shocking expression painted all over your face. His eyes looked deeply into yours, but not with that soft gaze you missed so much. This time it was sadness that took over his beautiful features. 'We need to talk.. can I come in?" he asks in a low tone. You move to the side, allowing him to enter inside. Chuuya takes a look around the house, feeling a wave of nostalgia crushing onto him with all the lovely memories that cross his mind in a matter of seconds. "I see you didn't change a thing" he turns around to face you again. Chuuya walks towards you facing the ground with his hair covering his eyes "Alright then" his voice is now deep and slightly intimidating, causing you to take a few staps backwards "Who was that guy with you just a few minutes ago?" your back leans against the door and the ginger places his hands next to each side of your face "Did you go out with him?" a sarcastic laugh leaves your lips "What, are you stalking me now?"

"I'm not stalking you, you idiot!" he slightly raises his voice, deeply offended by your comment "I was just passing by and I happened to see you walking to your home together" you roll your eyes at his response, but he's willing to let that slide in order to get an answer from you "So did you? Did you go out with him?" he moves his fingers to your chin, making you look directly at him

"You know damn well I didn't leave you because I stopped caring about you" he places his hand on your cheek, gently pulling your face up to meet your eyes. His heart breaks at the sight of you crying, just like the last time he saw you, "I did it to protect you, don't you get it?" he cups your face into his palms, softly wiping away your tears with his thumbs "I couldn't stand the thought of you being in danger just because you're mine" Your eyes soften the more you look into his ocean like orbs. Oh how you missed his affections. How you missed his soft voice. How you missed being called his.

"Was it that easy for you to move on?"

A look of dibelief is plastered in your face. You turn your gaze to the side "Why do you care? Weren't you the one who broke things off in the first place?" you feel tears welling up your eyes, blurring your vision "You have no right coming back after 3 months just to ask about my personal life" tears were now rolling down your cheeks, keeping your attention to the floor.

And he missed you too, he truly did. He found himself walking to your house out of habit the nights he didn't spend at his office at the port mafia. Just like he did tonight, only this time he noticed another man holding your hand and walking you home. His heart ached at the sight of you giving away your warm smile to somebody who wasn't him. He didn't even realize when did his legs lead him all the way outside your doorstep, until he knocked on your door.

"I knew what I signed up for the moment I met you Chuuya" you place your hands on top of his, caressing tenderly his soaked from your tears gloves "I never felt safer than the times you held me close in your arms and told me how much you love me" unable to contain himself any longer, Chuuya leans and smashes his lips into yours.

The kiss is deep and messy, making up for all this time you spent away from each others touch. You wrap your hands around his neck, while he places one of his around your waist and the other one at the nape of your neck. Chuuya groans into the kiss, pulling you impossibly closer to him "I missed you so much" he whispers against you lips. It doesn't take long for both of you to run out of oxygen, breaking the kiss and connecting your foreheads together "I missed you too"

You bury yourself into his neck, feeling his hands embracing your form. He softly strokes your hair, holding you close like it's the last time he'll ever get to feel you this close to him "Will you forgive me my love? Will you take me back and make me feel whole again?" you move back focusing your eyes on his, gently caressing his face and granting him your loving smile he missed so much.

Penny stardewvalley makes me so sad because she's SO sensitive to, like, basically everything you tell her (telling her that you can't stand children while two children are nearby is a pretty lousy move but -1500 friendship?? being a jerk to other characters' faces typically loses you about 50 points, and if you choose the option labeled "creepy" and ask Leah for a kiss in her 2 heart event she physically hits you and kicks you out of her house but that's only -100 friendship…) and so if you want to befriend her it's a whole lot of lying and tiptoeing around her feelings (2 hearts: George was right but saying that makes her feel bad. 6 hearts: her food sucks but even if you try to be polite about it she feels like a failure; only a bald-faced lie pleases her. 8 hearts: saying you don't want to be tied down with a family loses you a little bit of friendship and she's only happy if you say you want kids) and I can't help but think she's a product of her environment. She lives in a trailer with only her mother, who gets drunk every night and has something of a temper. Penny's like a skittish rescue animal who won’t even come out from hiding under something unless you leave her lots of treats

Say what you want about this man and his easy flightiness with alliances when they begin to break apart, but this man had a mission and he fucking delivered on it and we stan a committed man

He managed to hold his own against a very good PVP player and he fucking owned it

The tragedy of it? He knew he wasn't going to win. Of course he wouldn't against the best PVP player in the server, a previous winner, and Impulse who consistently performs well in these games. He was surrounded, taking and blocking hits from all directions, throwing himself into the fray when he could have just walked away and waited for a better moment. But no, taking and giving swing after swing, fighting until the very wood of his shield splinters and breaks. He wasn't expecting to win, he could never win with how low his hearts were, but he knew he could bring them part of the way down with him. He just knew Gem and the Scots couldn't be left with their abundance of hearts, and my man sacrificed himself to make sure other players had a fighting chance.

This is 74 year old Canadian Israeli Peace activist Vivian Silver.

Silver dedicated her life to promoting peace. she co-founded Women Wage Peace, an interfaith grassroots organization, and was a board member of the human rights organization "Bzelem". she volunteered in "On the Way to Recovery," accompanying cancer patients from the Gaza Strip to hospitals in Israel. she was co-CEO at Ajik - an Arab-Jewish organization working since 2000 to support Bedouin society in the Negev and promote shared life for Arabs and Jews throughout the country.

When asked about her aspirations for the future of her grandchildren, she said, "May they have Arab friends, Palestinians. May they not be afraid."

On October 4th 2023, Silver helped to organize a peace rally in Jerusalem which attracted 1,500 Israeli and Palestinian women.

The last connection with her was on the morning of october 7th, when she hid in a closet and texted her son. she wrote "well, the terrorists are in my house". he wrote "i'm on your side". "i feel you" she answered.

She was believed to be kidnapped, but today, 38 days later, her body was identified.

May this kind soul rest in peace. The mind can't comprehend that this was her fate. Thank you for everything you did. May we will get to witness something of your aspirations come true in our lifetime.
