Calamus was always passing by this bakery and never going into it, he realized just the other day. Sure, he would always pass by it and admire all the baked goods and wish he had one in his mouth... But he never stopped. He just kept walking to get home. And so, he kind of figured... Why not stop, at least once?

 The inside was even better than the outside, he realized soon enough, and he absolutely beamed as he wandered around and took everything in. Not only did everything look amazing, but it all smelled fantastic, too! God. He had never been in a real bakery since... Well, he couldn’t think of the last time he had done it, actually. Let alone when he had money he could maybe spend on some of it.

 Leaning over the counter to admire everything, he paused as he caught sight of what he could only assume to be one of the bakers here, seemingly hard at work. “Wow! That’s incredible. How did you learn how to do all this stuff?”

Cake Tasting {Audrey & Will}

Audrey hopped off the buss with her eighteen-year-old cousin next to her. While the cake tasting was supposed to be done with her fianceé, both her and Mack had different schedules. So, it was Ali her companion for the day. Walking into the bakery, she smiled when spotted the blonde man. “Hi, Will! Nice to meet you in person, I’m Audrey.” She said when she was near. “This is my cousin Ali.”

Vine Hill House is a small lunch based restaurant by city hall where friends can gather together for lunch. The owners are friends of Charlie’s and are aware there might be good number of people attending. Afterwards, Nate and Charlie will be hosting in their apartment with small appetizers and wine.

Angel loved these small interviews. It was nice to get to know the business owners all over the city and even nicer to see them int their element. They had promised Will something easy going so the young reporter dressed down and arrived with their small recorder and notepad. There was already a client there and they sat at at a nearby table to listen in to Will at work. Already, they could smell the bread and treats coming from the kitchen and secretly, they hoped for a tour a little latter. Angel waved at their friend and signaled over to Will to take his time.

Day 12: Friends 

What does friendship mean or look like to your character? What’s the best way to keep a friendship with your character?

Friendship just means that they are someone that you enjoy being around and getting to know.  It’s pretty easy to keep a friendship with Alex just be kind and respectful. 

Does your character have a lot of friends or few friends?

Alex has a lot of friends.  Sometimes she’s amazed at how many she has, but it mostly just comes from her being nice to people.

Who are your character’s closest friends?

Henna, Dorothy, Audrey, Will, Darius, Isaam, and Kiara

Alex does.  She’s a very trusting person and gives her trust almost instantly. 

What is their favorite thing to do with their closest friends?

Really just hang out with them, she doesn’t care much what they are doing as long as it’s something together. 

Do they have non-best friends that they would do anything for?

Not really, but she would do a lot for just about anyone. 

How might their friends best describe them?

Friendly, loyal, bubbly

Are they a reliable friend to have?

Absolutely

How have they been known to settle fights with their best friend(s)?

Alex is very unconfrontational so if she is the one in the fight she just sort of lets them have their way 90% of the time. If they’re fighting someoen else she just gives advice and hopes that it works.

Qué Sera Sera | Will & Dorothy

@willthebaker After having her apartment to herself again, Dorothy put what was left of the wine away and packed up the leftover Indian food. She couldn’t get the possibility out of her mind and felt a little bit foolish that she didn’t consider it before, given her line of work. Everything seemed to fit so truly though, after it had been suggested: the fatigue, weird cravings and changed appetite, and her constant urges to cry. Never in her past had she any reason to think that she was pregnant but after the week in Mexico with her husband, the possibility seemed very real now. And now, she was anxious. Her medical bag was the only place in the apartment that contained a home test and she knew she could rely on its accuracy. While she waited for Will to arrive, Dorothy meandered slowly around her coffee table like it was a designated track, all the while turning the box over in her hands with just as much slowness.

Ya boy’s best friend MILES  is getting hitched. Poor Dorothy, I know! Let’s give him the time of his life. Pool Party style. 

But this ain’t no regular pool party.  Nah.

Ya boy Darius has rented out an Air B&B  in Atlantic City. Just click on that baby there for the deets! Pool Party, performance by DJ Khaled and a special surprise for the groom to be! 

We leave tomorrow at 7 p.m. Sharp. We’ll board the party bus, stop by Gordon Ramsey’s Maze for dinner and dessert and then leave on our three hours trip to Atlantic City! We get back Friday afternoon so I hope ya’ll aren’t thinking of sleeping!
