On to my 101st attempt to healthy eating this year! Hahaha! It's been hard to eat healthy most especially when you are living off hospital overtime meals and samgyumsal (laman ng samgyupsalan forevs) and most certainly because I'm such a cheapo for any diet delivery programs that cost weeks worth of groceries for just a few days of fancy tupperwear go-to meals! So I bought myself some Lock&Lock (because Mason jars are heavy na mababasag ko lang and a little bit mainstream na), some oats, granola, chia seeds, some sweets, milk and fruits, and went to Pinterest for a dash of inspiration and voila! My very own overnight / daily oats! The verdict: 1. Masarap siya. Most probably because I add either chocolate / caramel syrup or matcha powder on top of milk. 2. Masarap siya (need more convincing hahaha) lalo when you are doing something else while eating it (nagc-charting, nanonood ng Good Doctor) because you do not realize what is it you are eating. Hahaha! 3. Nakakabusog siya kasi there's a little bit of everything in it and because you prepared it yourself and hello, oats. 4. Fiber! So ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ. 5. You'll appreciate your food more if you prepare it yourself, kahit pa oats yan! Tunay na malakas maka certified Tita! Hahaha! So friends! Healthy eating is doable. For whatever reason. Mine is just to get healthier kasi kadiri na ng fried fish fillet and mystery meat sa OT meal (hahaha!) and the almost emergency room trip for a very bad abdominal pain hours after eating Korean buffet and unli meat is scary! The weight loss is just a plus. ๐Ÿ˜‹ Now... sinong mags-Samgyupsalamat? Haha!
