Witchtober Drawings!

Last month I tried doing a Witchtober Challenge, and I decided to use RWBY as a basis for the drawings too. I ended up creating sort of a start of an AU for the series, where they're all witches.

I only got halfway through the prompts due to wrist pain, but these are some of my favorite drawings from what I've done recently.

#1 - Dark

A wicked witch, who had once been condemned to eternal darkness, now rises once more, embracing her new - true - self.

#2 - Broom

And so they went in a quest with their trusted teammates. As Yang cheered, they hoped this would be their best day ever.

#3 - Travel

Yang was super excited when two admission letters and tickets came in - she would attend Beacon with her sister! Ruby wasn't so sure about skipping ahead though - she just wanted normal knees.

#4 - Dessert

Ruby was having a bad day, so Weiss decided to try cheering her up.

#5 - Hound

A creature lurks in the absence of light. Even though it is not small by any means, it is cunning, and knows where its prey's blind spots are. Behind its dry bone mask lies the mind of a hunter - the best of its kind. Behind it also... lies a very dark secret.

#6 - Garden

A beautiful garden for an outstanding rose. At the edge of a cliff lives a memory of a kind, loving mother.

#7 - Tools

Yang's rule of cool is also called rule of fire.

#8 - Cloud

While some souls are down-to-earth, others like to spend some time among the clouds.

WillowWitchtober 08 - Cloud

I was going to reuse one of my monochrome pieces but I was REALLY overcome with the urge to draw Orko. I always liked how the base of his figure's stand was made to look like magical clouds. Carrying on with these throughout November!

Willow Witchtober from a few days ago, “Cozy” featuring DND AU Ludwig and Laurence (and Euphemia the horse). Ludwig wasn’t prepared for the cleric he picked up to just climb all over him to nap, and he’s not really sure what to, um, do about that… can’t move now though.

I wanted to get a different piece done for today (I have October 15th down as Laurence’s birthday for fics) but that didn’t happen due to prior obligations :”) oh well. Happy birthday Laurence~

I need to make a quick sketch of the holy moonlight sword to just insert into these quicker drawings, oops.

It’s hard to draw something every day but I’m still hoping to participate as much as I can!

This witch’s name is Marisol and she uses her magical powers primarily for art! :)

01 - Dark

I've REALLY been wanting to draw concept art Dark Lord, so I took this prompt as the opportunity to finally do so!

Forgot to mention here, I'm doing Willow Witchtober this year! Not sticking too closely to everything being witchy. I'll include the prompt list below so you can follow along!
