I've really struggled with art lately, so last month I decided to do a 30-day challenge focusing on nothing but putting lines on a page, ignoring imperfections (almost) every day.  I followed @akanebyul's #genshinktober2021 prompts.  So here they are...messy scans of messy work.

I am pretty proud of the local flora drawings....

I didn’t play the original Butler Event and just didn’t feel like drawing it. So instead—BUNNY SHOW! Neither Mahira nor I would make a good waiter. Does she look more plus-sized? I’m trying!

I want Mahira to be plus-sized, but I’m not used to drawing larger characters. This was actually my first attempt (despite being the third day). Pantyhose for…modesty??

Day 2 - With Belphie

I love naps. Pretty sure any time Mahira finds Belphie snoozing, she’ll use it as an excuse to take one herself.

Did I make an entire pattern out of Majolish emojis just to avoid drawing detailed PJ pants? Yes.

Not only did I miss MCtober last year, but I don’t draw nearly fast enough to keep up with such a challenge. I’m going to do these out of order and I don’t care.

Day 1 - MC Presentation! Here via her student ID card. She’s mostly a self-insert because…I couldn’t think of anything else. Some of her design is based on Sheep-chan, obviously. I also have to imagine all the characters in their twenties or older and that RAD is a university.

Finally finished!

31 hours and 17 minutes, 30,402 brush strokes total. I was seeing this behind my eyelids....

Most of my coloring was done with Procreate brushes from AlicjaNai.

18 hours in trying to shade with new brushes. Shading clothing is difficult and I’m still not happy with it.
