one thing I know for sure is that William Birkin would either be a rat, a Chihuahua or a fennec fox hybrid. there's no in between lol
okay yeah you’re right. he’s definitely the fennec fox, he’s got shifty eyes and a little smirk and no one ever knows what to expect out of him

she's not so different from her brother- but, perhaps that should be expected of blood-siblings. if he dwelled on it, it was rather true of the siblings he once had, too. (the ones who died, the ones who were there, but at the same time they weren't. no one was ever really there)
similar meant perceptive, because chris had always run with his gut (and much to wesker's chagrin, chris was often right in that instinct), and claire spoke like chris- from the heart. in a way that wesker couldn't quite understand, but never failed to hit hard.
You’re lonely too. › @terrorsave
somehow, words were always worse than a physical blow. what was that saying- the truth hurts?
( ❝ you're an intelligent boy, albert. you can figure it out on your own. ❞ oswell spencer's gaze is cold, and something about it feels wrong- but what did a child know of what was right or wrong? and all the other children his age had been told the same thing- albert wesker learned independence at the ripe old age of eight; the textbook held tight to his chest as he turned before spencer could see the hurt.
❝ this will be your own lab. welcome to umbrella pharmaceuticals. you're a promising talent, dr. wesker. ❞ it feels wrong still- he's seventeen and he's confused and day after day something goes wrong- things don't make sense, the RNA looks a mess. day two-hundred-and-nine and it's another goddamn negative result. but he has to figure this out on his own.
he's always on his own.
except for when he wasn't- not entirely, because william burkin was there for a while, and they got along as much as he could get along with any other person. they had shared interests to an extent. enough that umbrella let them work together. sometimes. not always, because they had to make it on their own, too.
william is dead now.
jill valentine and christopher redfield are the bane of his existence- and claire is too much like chris- and chris is laughing and chris is looking to his captain for answers and so is jill. so is the rest of the alpha team. they rely on him. he doesn't know how to support them properly, because he's never had what they want him to give.
they still invite him to join them for drinks.
he still betrays them, because he can't fathom having anyone else with him. )
you're lonely, too, says claire redfield. ❝ now, now, dear heart- it's rather unwise to make assumptions like that. ❞
albert wesker can't fathom his own loneliness when he can't even name it in the first place.
#terrorsave#my speedread of the gist of code veronica allows me to just go straight up unhinge here too?#anyway this is the second ic post and wesker's being called out again my god what a ride

Bio:
Name: Leon Scott Kennedy D.O.B: unknown month/date, 1977 - somwhere in his mid 40's-50s Sex: Male Sexuality: Bisexual Height 5'11
RE2/4 plot summaries ( spoilers obviously )
Leon Scott Kennedy is an American of Italian descent currently employed as a federal agent by the Division of Security Operations (D.S.O.), a counter-terrorism agency with direct Presidential oversight. Kennedy is a known survivor of the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, then as a police officer. Following his escape, he was offered a job in a USSTRATCOM team devoted to anti-B.O.W. combat, and served it until 2011 in repeated operations around the world.
The first incident- Raccoon City Outbreak September 1998:
Rookie R.P.D. officer Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield’s younger sister Claire both arrive in Raccoon City. After meeting and pairing up to survive a zombie attack, the two are almost immediately separated by a car accident, so Leon and Claire agree to meet up at the police department. Unfortunately, the building is also infested by zombies. Claire runs into Sherry Birkin, a young girl being pursued by a monstrous weirdo who turns out to be her Dad and Umbrella leading scientist, William Burkin.
Turns out William Burkin had planned to betray Umbrella and sell his new G-virus but was gunned down by Umbrella. Before dying, William managed to infect himself with the G-Virus and allowed the virus to spread into Raccoon City through the water system. Nice one, Willy.
Meanwhile, Leon runs into Ada Wong, an FBI agent who’s looking to obtain the G-Virus to prove Umbrella’s corruption. In the sewers Leon and Ada run into William’s wife Annette, who is… not a big fan of law enforcement, to say the least. Leon and Ada chase her to a secret Umbrella underground facility called NEST in pursuit of the G-Virus.
Claire also arrives at NEST in search of a vaccine for a now infected Sherry. Leon manages to obtain the G-Virus sample but runs into Willam, who in his freakish form mortally wounds his wife. Annette tells Leon that Ada is actually a mercenary who’s looking to sell the G-Virus to the highest bidder. Ada demands the G-Virus, But before Leon can hand it over, Annette manages to shoot Ada. She falls to her death, dropping the G-Virus sample.
Claire finds the vaccine and gives it to Annette to cure her daughter while she tangles with William. Sherry is cured, but Annette eventually dies of her injuries. The facility is set to self-destruct, and Claire and Sherry board a train to escape with Leon. With NEST destroyed, the crew finally manage to escape the nightmare and on the outskirts of Racoon City vow to continue their fight against Umbrella.
The Los Illuminados incident - 2004
Six years later Umbrella is long gone, due to a combination of government oversight and subsequent stock value crash – basically, the least awesome way possible.
Leon Kennedy, the once RPD rookie is now a government agent who’s sent on a mission to rescue the president's daughter, Ashley from her kidnappers in rural Spain. He discovers that not only are her kidnappers a cult called Los Illuminados, but they’re also all infected by a new mind-controlling parasite called Las Plagas.
During the rescue, Leon coincidentally bumps into his old flame Ada Wong, who is not dead and once again on the hunt for the virus.
After rescuing Ashley, Leon confronts the cult’s leader Saddler and, with the help of Ada, they manage to defeat him. Ada, once again showing her true colours, takes the Las Plagas sample and escapes via helicopter, but not before setting the base to – you guessed it – self-destruct.
Leon and Ashley manage to escape and Jet-ski their way home.

breathe (leon kennedy x reader)
[REmake!Leon]
Summary: Hours into the Raccoon City outbreak and trying to survive it, Leon tries to get reader to recover from the chaos.
Warnings: talks about death
Part 1 of 2
With a heavy grunt, your body tilts to the side as your balance momentarily tips over. Thankfully, you manage to shift your gravity back to the center of your feet when you push the last wooden shelf barricading the rest of the motel lobby out of the way, comforted by the fact that your back was covered.
Even with that sense of security though, your heartbeat still turns erratic with fear - your eyes wasting no time darting forward to scan if your vicinity was clear from those creatures - creatures that were swarming every corner you went; you’d think they came from the bottom pits of hell.
The undead - as impossible as it sounds, were roaming the earth and wreaking havoc upon the living. It was surreal, like a nightmare come to life in all its vivid horror, but you couldn’t wake up from it no matter how hard you tried.
You’ve been running around the city with a rookie cop for a couple of hours now, but it felt like eternity since you’ve last seen civilization not hanging by a thread. You were dead tired, close to passing out you thought, but seeing all that you had tonight - you didn’t think it would be possible to sleep a wink.
Never-ending streams of blood darker than rubies, mangled bodies, groans of the living turning into the dead, blood-curdling screams, the deafening sound of gunshots, and those creatures - they were burned at the back of your head, branded by it, your thoughts replaying every scene of this night as if it was the only memory it knew.
No one that you’ve met in this frenzy had any idea why this was happening - and most of them were never going to. Marvin, Elliot, Sheriff Daniel - officers you’ve met so briefly - they were never going to see another light of day.
Your face immediately stings at the thought and you close your eyes, your heart feeling like it could crack. Out of all the moments you’ve had tonight, this might be one of the hardest your guilt was hitting you.
You couldn’t get it out of your head - if only you came sooner, you could’ve saved them.
“(Y/N), hey, everything alright?” Leon Kennedy, the rookie cop, breaks your reverie from behind you. His footsteps were a little loud as they crunched beneath fallen glass and debris but his voice was the total opposite, it was gentle and soft.
With your heart feeling tender, you felt like you could cry. You don’t though, so you try to rub at your eyes as inconspicuously as you can to remove the moisture in them.
Apocalypse or not, you weren’t going to break down in front of a total stranger, or anyone for that matter. You weren’t the type, you never have been and with the situation at hand, you never will be.
“Yeah, we’re clear.” You answer a little too timidly.
Nevertheless, you walk ahead of him again and began your thorough searching, going through the front desk and the reception area to make sure you don’t miss anything you could loot that could be of use for you both.
You really did need to stock on some items but you knew inside that you wanted to distract yourself. Your mind felt like a dangerous place right now and you needed to be away from it.
“Maybe we should check the rooms?” You quietly suggest to Leon, craning your neck so you could look at him for the first time in almost 15 minutes. You find that his ocean-blue eyes were already on you, focused - they were determined, brave, yet held a softness to them that you’ve come to see was so evident in his personality and character.
Your stomach faintly churns and you immediately shoot down the sudden feeling, as well as the small wave of warmth washing over your chest.
He looked hesitant with your recommendation but he had every right to be - the last thing you both needed was a corpse or a hoard of them chasing you in this tight and compact place.
“I don’t know if that’s the best idea,” He thinks out loud and you agree, scratching that option and deciding it was stupid.
“You’re right, it’s too risky. Let’s keep searching out here then,” You reconcile and both of you go through the corridors. You on the left and him on the right.
Much to your dismay, you almost reach the end of the messy red hallway to find nothing. Your crestfallen state falters a bit though when Leon calls your name.
“(A/N), look!” He muses but still keeping his voice low. You avert your attention from a vitamin bottle peeking out of a fallen suitcase and were debating whether or not to stash it.
“What?” You pipe, hope clinging to your chest that maybe it was another weapon, ammo, or water. Instead, your eyes stretch to the size of dinner plates.
Leon had one hand wrapped around a room’s doorknob, twisting it ever so slightly to show you it was unlocked. You reach out fast to pull his hold away from it.
“What are you doing? Are you crazy?” You whisper with haste. He chuckles softly at your banshee state, quick to reassure you. “Nothing’s in there, I promise.” He says.
You blink at him, unable to follow how he came to that conclusion. “How do you know that?” You ask him rhetorically, obviously not convinced.
He shoots you a boyish yet coy smile, his finger raising up and pointing at an empty slot that used to be a peep hole. He gestures for you to take a look so you do.
As he moves out of the way, you lean into the door and shut the eye that wasn’t looking through the space. The room was scattered with papers and items were strewn all over the place but Leon was right; the room was empty. Despite that, you didn’t want to get your hopes up just yet. It’s was too dangerous.
You recline from the door, looking back at him still with skeptical eyes. “We can’t be too sure though,” You try to reason with him.
He understands your doubt, he does, but he understood too that you needed a breath from all this, even for a few minutes to just sit and rest.
He was no fool - he knew that you thought of him as unsuspecting, naive albeit he could be, but he could see through your tough facade. He was a cop after all, he had to learn how to read demeanor in academy but, importantly, he was human too.
He didn’t doubt your strength though, not at all, but you were afraid, confused, scared and scarred with everything - he was also, but what mattered to him was your well-being. With all that you’ve both been through, your strength wavered and he knew you needed to recompose your bearings.
Unfortunately, he didn’t know how to convince such a logical mind like yours - hell, he couldn’t definitively say himself that the room was clear but his gut told him so and he just knew it was true. Still, he couldn’t tell you that because, having known you for the past few hours, you’d walk right away from the door.
“Just... trust me, (Y/N).” He simply says.
Every fiber in your being sang with alert and you practically see red with all the flags raised from that completely illogical explanation but, for some reason - out of all the times you give fate a chance - you confide in it, in him - a complete stranger.
This is a death wish being written and all you could do is pray you both weren’t going to be the protagonists of its pages. Maybe it’s the fatigue or maybe it’s what’s left of your naïve hope that was allowing you to nosedive into danger.
It was crazy, you were crazy - maybe you are going crazy?
Before you had the chance to gather your wits and back out, it was too late - Leon had already opened the door.
Your breath hitches painfully in your throat as your whole body goes rigid, preparing for your life to flash before your eyes as a flesh-eating monster comes to rip you both to shreds... but nothing comes.
Subconsciously, you notice Leon exhale unsteadily behind you, deflating with solace. You couldn’t believe it - even he was unsure.
“We’re safe,” He smiles softly, following the back of your head as you take some cautious steps inside the room. “You’re safe.”

Knew the new killer was going to be Nemesis! He’s kinda the epitome of a resident evil boss. Especially if you haven’t played any games.
In RE 1 they’re mostly animal based bosses. The humanoids are Tyrant, Crimson Heads, and Lisa Trevor. The later 2 are exclusive to the remake (which is old enough at this point to be established in the series but are not instantly recognizable)
RE2 you’ve got various forms of William Burkin or Mr. X
RE3 gives you Nemesis who’s the star of the show
RE4 is amazing but as far as boss design goes there is nothing (humanoid) that stands out in the same way. None of the enemies are really maintained after release.
I could not tell you a single enemy from either 5 or 6 let alone a boss fight beyond Wesker. I know you kill Wesker at some point.
RE7 drew from so many horror tropes that are already present in some form in Dead by Daylight. I don’t think it would have brought enough interesting to the table.
For RE8, I admit I havent played it yet. As much as we would have loved to see Tall Lady she’s new. Also with development of this killer starting before 8’s release it would have been a big risk. The reaction to her now is great but who know what it’s gonna be in a few years?
#dead by daylight#putting this list together tells me that Leon as your protagonist outshines most everyone else#I maintain verdugo could have been cool#and could you imagine a child Evelyn killer with a mind control ability that causes survivors to turn on each other?

Kemba Walker: Blake Griffin ‘would be a great fit’ on Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets will not be returning to the playoffs this year, and their All-Star guard is already looking ahead to the free agent recruitment trail.
In a recent interview with Glenn Burkins of Q City Metro, Kemba Walker specifically mentioned Los Angeles Clippers big man Blake Griffin as a free agent who would make for a nice fit on the Hornets.
“I think one of the bigger free agents this year is probably Blake Griffin,” said Walker. “I think Blake would be a great fit for us. I mean, don’t get y’all’s hopes up. (laughter) It sounds good.”
The 28-year-old Griffin, who is averaging 21.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game this year, has a $21.4 million player option for the 2017-18 season that he seems likely to decline in order to test free agency. On paper, he would indeed be a strong fit in Charlotte, as their power forward depth chart currently consists of Marvin Williams, who is more of a hybrid forward, and Frank Kaminsky, who may have a higher ceiling as a stretch five.
However, it’s difficult to envision the five-time All-Star leaving behind more money, more years, and his entertainment interests in Los Angeles, even if we heard recently that he might actually be growing more open to the idea. The fact of the matter is that the Hornets are a small market non-contending team, and even if Griffin does wind up leaving the Clippers, other interested parties probably stand a much better chance of landing him.

breathe p.2 (leon kennedy x reader)
[REmake!Leon]
Summary: Hours into the Raccoon City outbreak and trying to survive it, Leon tries to get reader to recover from the chaos
Warnings: talks about death, cursing
Part 2/2
hey guys! here’s part 2 of breathe :-) i was really so shocked when i logged back into this account yesterday and saw how much love my works were receiving :-( thank you all so, so much! It means a lot to me. With that, please do feel free to send me requests! I’d love to write for you guys. Anyway, just a lil side note for this chapter ! There was this work I read on here although I forgot what it was called and the user who wrote it (sorry huhu) but I took some inspiration from it to write this! So shoutout to that tumblr user and their work, it was super great!
You were way too invested with the amount of supplies hiding around the room. Your spirit, little-by-little, was rising again as you pick things up and put them in your filthy black backpack.
So far, you’ve found a baseball bat, a first-aid kit, water bottles, and an unopened pack of protein bars. To think you weren’t even done searching the place! The feeling of astonishment lingers - you were still incredulous with this stroke of luck and it was all thanks to Leon.
You pause from scanning a book talking about healing herbs and focus your attention on the cop; you could hear his feet shuffling about as he moved around the bathroom, searching for items as well.
You hear a faint creak, drips and splatters, and then Leon in awe. “Whoa,” you hear him verbalize, peaking your interest almost immediately. “(Y/N), come take a look at this,” He calls to you, excitement palpable in his tone.
You rise up rather quick from your crouched position before dropping the book and a map of Raccoon City in your bag. You walk into the dim-lit blue bathroom with stride, curious eyes searching. Leon’s back faces you but you see clearly what he was looking at.
A shower, an actual shower.
Albeit the water running was a bit weak, it’d get the job done. Your excitement matches his; it’s been just a few hours, maybe around 6 or 7, but it felt like years since you’ve last bathe and your whole body ached to be under the stream falling in front of you.
You were covered in grime, mud, blood, guts, and sewer content among many other things - you were caked in it and it was only now that you let yourself pay attention to how filthy you are. You grimaced inwardly, not wanting to dwell on the stench; this was the dirtiest you’ve ever been in your life.
You look over at Leon; his once dry-cleaned navy uniform appeared brown and red from all that you’ve gone through tonight and his soft, gentle face was also streaked with sweat, blood and grime.
He was as filthy, if not more, than you are.
“Wash up, I’ll wait for you in the bedroom.” He says without a moment’s hesitation. He cocks his head towards the small stall with a kind smile, already turning to give you some privacy.
With that, you felt your guilt prod you in the back - it felt wrong to clean and refresh yourself while he doesn’t just for the sake of being decent. The way he was towards you since he found you running in an alleyway was nothing short of selfless; he was so generous and caring and it didn’t sit quite right with you that he kept choosing to be in the losing end of situations just for your benefit.
Biting your lip more from anxiousness than hesitation, you halt him by meekly placing a hand on his arm. Your cheeks blush at the suggestion forming in your mouth. “Leon... I- uh,” you stutter right off the bat.
You remove your touch from his skin and rub the corner of your right eye despite the absence of an itch, discontinuing your sentence.
Leon is caught off-guard seeing you like this - all flustered and at a loss for words. It was so unlike your usually composed character; it was kind of refreshing to see, he thought to himself - it humanized you more. The sight makes him smile in a confused but genuine way. “Yeah?”
You purse your lips tightly, frustrated with yourself that you couldn’t get your words out. It didn’t help that your nerves were helter-skelter and your body felt like it was under an electric current.
You were old enough to be mature about situations like this, especially with the one you currently are in. Besides, the last thing that should be boggling your mind are taboos.
“The water’s not going to be around for long,” You start, wishing he could take a hint at where you were trying to get at. With his response, he obviously didn’t.
“Yeah, go ahead,” He reconfirms, chuckling a bit at the redundancy of the conversation. You wanted to huff in annoyance but you don’t, it wasn’t his fault anyway.
“No, I mean-“ You scratch your head, “You can clean up - also. We can... both... shower.” You manage to finally say amidst your pauses. Your face - at this point- felt like it was on fire.
As you expected, Leon looks at you with great bewilderment before his cheeks dust with a rosy color, your words registering in his brain and rendering him slightly embarrassed. He didn’t know how to reply to that and he definitely did not know if he was supposed to accept your offer – as tempting as it is.
“I just-“ a sigh, “-who knows when the next opportunity will come? I really don’t mind,” You try to explain yourself with nonchalance, although quite poorly. You don’t honestly know, though, if you really wouldn’t mind him with you, all bare and vulnerable for him to see.
He hesitates too, weighing your words.
You were right still, he thought- your lives from now on will probably be so unpredictable that mundane things can be rare; you should both count your blessings and grasp opportunities whenever they come up.
As if you read his mind, you shoot him a compromised look, “Count your blessings, right?” You shrug, like you were presenting to him a consolation prize.
His slightly coarse, plump bottom lip trap unconsciously between his white teeth in final consideration before he nods his head diffidently. He turns around, “I’ll – uh, let you get undressed,” He clears his throat, his voice growing softer as his heartbeat jumps.
You nod even though he can’t see you; you absolutely hate how jittery you felt, like you weren’t in control of yourself. You concentrate on breathing and thought for a naïve second that it was helping but you started untying your shoes and your whole body went into chaos again.
You curse under your breath, sheepishly peeling off your clothing until you were left in just your undergarments.
The cool air of the late evening breezes in through a small window you didn’t notice and raises goosebumps along your arms and legs. You bite the insides of your cheeks, attempting to cover your half-naked, dirty, and bruise-littered body.
You steal a quick glance at Leon to see his shirtless back still working on stripping his outfit before averting your gaze away.
“You can go ahead if you’re –“ He pauses and you can imagine the bashful expression on him, “-if you’re ready.” He finishes. You make an acknowledging sound, your stomach somersaulting as you quickly remove the last of your apparel, leaving you completely bare.
Wanting to hopefully save yourself from being seen where you were most conscious, you hop onto the shower and face the wall; regret floods you immediately though when ice-cold droplets attack your skin.
You may have yelped a little bit because Leon, as if on instinct, twists to check on you. His worry is replaced by his face burning up at the sight of your body. He quickly turns away, face and ears beet-red.
“Are you okay?” He tries to keep his voice unchanged.
You chuckle, shy, sorry for startling him. You feel silly as you look down at the grey tiles. “Yeah, sorry – I just didn’t expect the water to be so cold.” You explain. You hear his warm laughter and it makes the corners of your lips grow some more.
With the unconventionality of the situation slowly fading, the tightness in the air between you and Leon begins to disappear as well. Focusing your attention back on your bath, you shut your eyes and steal one long breath before taking one step south and fully submerging yourself under the cold water.
You gasp quietly at the feeling of it again but worked your way into getting used to it. Despite the temperature, you felt a whole lot better to feel the filth covering you slowly make its way to the drainage.
You watch with a mixture of disgust and fascination the discolored water coming off your body; you wipe down your skin to quicken the process. You were so caught-up with cleaning yourself that you don’t notice Leon had finally joined you.
“Do you want some soap?”
You nearly scream bloody murder; after all the events this night had unfolded, the last thing your poor heart could handle was anything sudden. You whip around, your heart hammering painfully in your chest, fear invading your every sense.
When your (E/C) eyes meet with Leon’s concerned blues, your panic rises even more. You raise your arms quickly to cross them over your chest.
The perturbed look etched on his gentle face deepens, his hands – even with one holding a small, white bottle of body soap - slightly outstretched with caution to hold you if ever need be. His gaze unintentionally wanders to where your arms were as he was just following where you were moving.
Your soft but wounded body in his sight, he found it hard to look away suddenly.
Scratches of varying lengths scattered on your arms, bruises of different purple hues decorating your stomach and your sides, a small gash on the cavity of your neck where your throat rested, and a red mark on your collarbone that almost took you away.
Leon goes rigid at the memory, remembering the horror coursing through his veins when he saw a corpse tackling you over. Although he killed the creature right away, he never felt so helpless as he watched it almost sink its teeth in you.
Lieutenant Marvin, Sheriff Daniels, Officer Edward and all those undead bastards wearing the faces of the people he could have worked with suddenly haunts him. He could feel himself grow physically nauseated remembering that he couldn’t save any of them; what was keeping him from actually breaking was the sight of you – eyebrows knit with trouble and right in front of his eyes, breathing and human.
You shift uneasily under his scrutiny. He looked so distraught, you thought, and you wondered idly what he was thinking about.
“What’s in your head?” You find your voice, your question almost a whisper. His sapphire eyes untangle themselves from the stains on your body and up at you, blinking.
Maybe it was the nature of the situation or the way he looked at you so tenderly that made your heart flutter.
“Hm?” He hums, clearly not paying attention. With a small simper, you repeat yourself. “What’s got you looking all sentimental?”
“Just this crazy night,” He answers, trying to crack a halfhearted smile. The corners of his pink lips fall once more though when his gaze stops again at your collarbone.
You lift one hand to touch the sore area and you feel you understood now what was going through his mind.
“Leon-“ You start, (E/C) eyes softening when his troubled expression still didn’t ease up. “You saved my life. I’m here right now under this snowstorm of a shower because of you,” You try to joke, gesturing at the spurting shower head in an attempt to lighten the atmosphere. You smile when you see him grin a bit.
Exhaling through your nose, you gently lower your arms, baring yourself completely. It was the feeling of being vulnerable to him – physically and, little-by-little, emotionally- that scared you.
Although you were never the type, Leon was the opposite. He wore his heart on his sleeve and you admired what you saw - a heart made of pure gold. It made you want to confide in him. Even if the world was falling to pieces, it was his valor and morality that made you feel hopeful.
Leon’s breath quietly hitches.
He tears his gaze away from your skin, of course not wanting to invade, but you assure him by gently reaching out and touching his strong chest. “It’s okay,” You affirm, this time sure of it.
You gingerly take the bottle of soap from his hold and twist the cap off. The sterile smell of it made you frown – you really don’t know how much something’s worth until the world’s ending.
Leon hasn’t gone under the water yet so he was a step or two away from you. You beckon him forward with your hand and he obliges, closing his eyes and going under the stream. He huffs, probably due to the cold, and you chuckle tenderly. He smiles.
Grabbing your chance, you study the man. He was very attractive – hands down, you noticed that from the get-go – but it was only now that you’re not being chased or hunted that you let yourself see why.
He was tall and well-built; as far as you’d let yourself wander, even though his body was a canvas of bruises and wounds too, he was defined, probably from all that training back in police academy.
Trailing your gaze north, you rest at his relaxed expression. Despite having a baby face, he had very strong features – high cheekbones, strong jawline and all. He had long, dark eyelashes that fluttered whenever he blinked or hid his striking blue eyes.
Indolently, you wonder if you’ve ever seen blue that intense and deep before. It reminds you of the ocean, your favorite place, and just like the ocean, you feel that you could drown in Leon’s gaze when he looks at you.
Watching as the dirt and grime continues to melt from his skin, you notice with great sentiment the light dots of freckles littering the center of his nose and cheeks. You purse your lips to keep from beaming.
When his ocean eyes finally open, he brushes his damp blonde hair out of his face. He catches you with a small grin before you try to play it cool. He smiles with amusement.
You turn your head from him and fidget with the bottle in your hands, ignoring the warmth creeping its way into your skin in a form of a blush.
Lathering up the soap, you spread it all over yourself, trying to push down the urge to hide from his sight and face the wall again. You hand him the bottle and he takes it from you, doing the same.
“Thanks,” He acknowledges with a kind nod and you return the appreciation. A comfortable kind of silence clouds you both, nothing but the sound of the running water filling the space.
You were just about done and ready to leave the shower when Leon’s voice pulls you back. “(Y/N), wait,” He stops you. Pausing mid-step, you crane your body. A weird expression is on your face to see him looking so nervous all of a sudden. The smile tugging at your lips was unmistakable though.
“Yeah?” You respond, curious and slightly amused.
He takes a breath before gesturing for you to come back. You oblige without second thought, your heart starting to pick up pace for some odd reason.
“Leon-?” You stop short of your sentence when you feel him move towards you, enveloping you in his broad arms as his lips lightly connect with yours.
You gasp, your heart spiking in your chest, caught-off guard with his sudden affection. He kisses you ardently, gentle yet urgent, like he’s been craved. He pulls away after a moment – flushed and his eyes bubbling with a mixture of both pride and apology.
You just blink at him, dazed and unable to muster anything to say. Leon’s small confidence is overshadowed fully by his growing feeling of guilt.
He shouldn’t have done that – he shouldn’t have kissed you. He just met you for God’s sake, no one does that, but he was drawn to you - that much was clear and true to him.
He wished he met you sooner – he wished he could have met you at a bookstore or a café, at the fucking groceries or at a rock concert, not at this hellhole where the dead came back to life and ate people, where a grey giant with a hauntingly stoic face lurked at every corner to kill, and blind, skinned creatures with tongues that can cut you in half exists.
Leon would’ve really liked you, he thought, if your lives intertwined before the pandemonium. You were strong, beautiful, and intelligent.
It’s stupid now that he thinks about it, but he kissed you because at least if he wasn’t going to make it out of here alive, he’d have done what he’s wanted to do for a while now.
Seeing you almost taken away, it was scorned in his heart. He cared about you a lot.
“(Y/N), I’m so sorr-“ He begins, to ramble about how he should have thought better, but he was silenced by you closing the distance of your bare and wet bodies together.
You wrap your arms around his neck and stand on your toes, sealing your mouths with a fervent kiss. It was Leon’s turn to be pleasantly surprised – he quickly eases into it though, melting into your warm embrace.
You tug softly at the hair on the lower part of his head and he groans at the sensation. He places his hands on your naked waist, the heat of his palms a welcome change from the temperature of the water.
Tucking your (H/C) hair over your damp shoulder, Leon buries his head in your neck, his fringes tickling your skin as he peppers it with small nips and kisses, trailing downward.
You bite your lip, closing your eyes at the pleasure rippling in your body. You cup his cheeks, rubbing the pad of your thumb over his light freckles before bringing your lips together once more, moving in perfect sync like you’ve both been doing this for years.
Breaking away slightly, you lean your head on the bottom of his chin. You take a breath to process all that’s just happened; you were thankful for his hands steadying you because you felt drunk. Your heart was thumping so loud you wonder if he could hear it.
Leon tilts your face up and places a tender kiss on your forehead. You close your eyes, resting your mouth on his collarbone. “Let’s get through this – both of us,” You murmur against his wet skin, your heart renewed with purpose.
He nods sincerely, wanting nothing more than what you just said. He tightens his arms around you. “I’ll make sure.”

Style crush Whinnie Williams spills the details on her music and aesthetic
We enlisted the help of the most stylish songstress around for this vintage inspired editorial.
Whinnie Williams is the embodiment of cool. With her glam throwback aesthetic and breath-of-fresh-air sounds, Whinnie is the ultimate girl’s girl. From writing and producing music to starting her own interiors company, there truly is nothing this fashionista can’t do. After her move to the seaside, relocating to Margate – Whinnie has been kept ultra busy with finishing touches to her new album and releasing a delicious new version of ‘Too Strong’.
We decided to take a leaf out of Whinnie’s book and channel everything 70’s with glamorous vintage looks and throwback retro decor in this gorgeous fashion story. We also caught up with the songstress to find out where her obsession with the styles of the past began.
What’s your earliest memory of being “fashion conscious”? I remember being about 8 and having a school disco coming up and wanting to look cool. My mum took me to New Look, and I picked out crushed velvet flares, and a fake Adidas striped jumped!! Haha!
Who are your favourite designers and why? Shrimps, Miu Miu, Vivetta, I just love really surrealist, textured, dreamy playful clothes. I love over the top classics.
What are your go-to styles or shapes? My boob to bum ratio is a bit out lol – so I like to wear high waisted trousers, flares and A-line skirts as I think they are quite flattering.
Do you attend LFW? What shows do you particularly enjoy? In between moving down to Margate, finishing my album and starting my interiors company ‘Poodle and Blonde’ (coming soon), I let my friends fill me in on Fashion Week this season. I’m never one to miss it usually – my fave shows are TopShop, Felder Felder, Mulberry and Burberry.
Who would you cite as your main fashion influences? Linda Rodin, Jane Burkin, Barbarella, loads of 60s/70s iconic movie babes.
What’s your failsafe style advice? Don’t over accessorise!
What’s the link between music and fashion? And what’s the connection between your music and how you dress? For me, they are very closely linked. I dress how I feel and I write songs about how I feel. They are both an extension of me. My songs have a lot of samples or a nod to the past, and my clothes do too. I like to mix a little vintage with something new – just like my sound. I’m going to be releasing lots of new music this year and creating new videos, and I can’t wait!

Colt Python S.A.A. Weapon
Begin a normal difficulty game and go to the courtyard in front of the R.C.P.D., then go down the stairs. Brad Vickers from RE will be waiting for you. No, he’s not going to give you the gun, but he WILL give you trouble if you try to face him with the few bullets you have left from your run through the City. Head into the Police Station and pick up more ammo and perhaps a stronger weapon before going to meet him. If you manage to fell him, you will get the Secret Key. Take this key to the Dark Room save area and use it to open the lockers to the left of the door. Inside is the Colt Python S.A.A., which is almost more powerful than the magnum. It only carries six shots, but it’s great for the last battle against William G-III and G-IV. An alternate costume is also in the locker, if you like that kind of thing. Oh, and one more detail. If this doesn’t work, in that Brad does not appear, try again without picking up anything along the way to the Station. (Don’t worry about not getting your characters’signature weapon, as a shotgun can be found in the S.T.A.R.S. Office for Leon, and a Bow-Gun in the Cabin save area for Claire, so you don’t have to worry about not picking them up in the begining when the shop-keeper dies.)
All Hung Up
While playing as Claire, if you equip the bow-gunand fire at a zombie that is in front of a wall, it will get pinned and die. This trick also works with crows, but it’s not as effective as they are too fast to hit, but it can be done.
Vomiting Zombies
You will eventually become a little girl named Sherry in Claire’s scenario. Walk up to a zombie and instead of biting you they will vomit.
Getting The Machine Gun
Play the first scenario and find the door with a small hand pad in the Umbrella Laboratory that requires two people to open. Even though you cannot get in, activate it anyway. Complete the first scenario and start the second. Find this pad again and activate it. The door will unlock and you can find a machine gun in the room.
Regaining The Precinct Key
If you discarded the Precinct Key, you can regain in the room where you put the Red Jewels into the statues. Search the crates on the left side of the statue to find the it. You can also find H. Gun Ammo and an Ink Ribbon in this room.
Defeating Tyrant
In the second scenario, after you put the joint plugs in, you will fight a evolved form of Tyrant. Use the following steps to easily defeat him. For Leon, run to the right from him as soon as the scene (with black lines at bottom and top) ends. Start shooting him with the custom magnum three times, then run toward the exit door. Ada Wong will appear and drop a special grenade launcher. Run towards the grenade launcher, pick it up and shoot one shot to kill the Tyrant. If you are not an expert, you will also need first aid sprays or herbs. For Claire, you will do the same thing only using the regular grenade launcher with acid rounds. After this Tyrant, you will open the gate and get on the train. Another intermission sequence will play. After it finishes, the train will stop. Run towards the back of the train until you see a tentacle drop down. Another intermission sequence will play, and you have to fight the last form of William Burkin, as a revolting blob. Run towards the front of the train until you reach the door. Stop and shoot him with the remaining rocket. Then, use the custom magnum or a grenade launcher with acid rounds. Shoot him until he melts. After that, go to where you started and watch the ending sequence. The “Tyrant” in the second scenario is a indeed a Tyrant of the T-00 series but his name is Mr. X.
Safe Code
The code for the safe in the room with the double blue doors is 4542.
Access To Secret Room
To get into the room with the fingerprint access, you must get the Red Umbrella Key card and go into the room with the bugs in it. Go to the computer and type in “GUEST” as a user name. It will take your fingerprint. Go to the fingerprint key pad and put your fingerprint in as the character being Leon or Claire and complete the game. Return to the fingerprint lock as the other character and do the same thing and you can go in. There are some Lickers in a glass container of liquid.
Dead Hunter
Unlock the room in the Lab which requires two people to enter. In the Culture Experiment Room is find a dead Hunter from the first Resident Evil game and a group of strange experiments.
Getting The Precinct Key
Go to the second floor, kill the Licker, and then go to the room with a door with S.T.A.R.S. written on it. Get the diary (green book), get the unicorn medal, talk to your “friend”, and go down the stairs back to the fountain in the hall. Stand in front of the fountain and use the unicorn medal.
Getting To Tyrant
In the room where the giant moth is located, the computer asks you to use your user name. Type in “GUEST” for the user name. This will get you to Tyrant, but you have to watch the two videos first. Note: You must use both people; with the “A” scenario with one character and the “B” scenario with the other character.
Getting The Gatling Gun
Successfully complete the game in two and a half hours or less, you can pick up items (only important things such as keys, card keys and maps recommended) but do not save. The gatling gun is an awesome weapon that shoots very fast and is powerful. The downside is that you cannot aim up or down, and it takes up two spaces on the inventory screen. When you start the next scenario in the slot you used, look in one of your item boxes.
Hand Gun Ammunition
Always check a dead policeman. He will usually have ammunition.
Brad’s Note
In either character’s scenario B, get to the police station. Walk out to where Brad Vickers would be to get the special key and look at the ground. If there is nothing there, go back in the station, and do a little more inside, then go out again. You will find a note that Brad left behind.
Extreme Battle Mode
Complete both of either character’s scenarios with an “A” rank, then go to the “Special” option. A new “Extreme battle mode” selection will be unlocked.
Play As Hunk
Complete both of either character’s scenarios with an “A” rank.
Play As Tofu
Complete both of either character’s scenarios with an “A” rank, and Hunk’s scenario with any rank.
Play As Ada Wong In Extreme Battle Mode
Complete extreme battle mode level 1 as any character.
Play As Chris Redfield In Extreme Battle Mode
Complete extreme battle mode level 2 as any character.
Unlimited Weapons
Complete either character’s first scenario in under 2.5 hours with an A or B ranking for the special rocket launcher. Complete either character’s second scenario in under 2.5 hours with an A or B ranking for the special gatling gun. Complete either character’s second scenario in under 3 hours with an A or B ranking for the special machine gun. The special weapon will appear in the next game after the first chest is opened.
Shotgun Or Crossbow
When playing as Leon go to the gun shop with the man. He will almost shoot you. After he dies because of the zombies, kill them. Then go up to the dead man and press Action. You should get a shotgun. If playing as Claire you will get the crossbow.
Ranking System
To get an A ranking, beat the game in under three hours and do not use any First Aid sprays. Herbs, however, may be used. To get a B ranking, successfully complete the game in under three hours. To get a C ranking, finish the game in five to seven hours. For a D rating, finish the game in seven hours or more. Note: The rank will be lowered by one grade if any special weapons are used, or if the game was saved more than twelve times. To get the “S” rank on mission 1, complete the game in under 1 hour 30 minutes, only use up to one green herb, do not save, and only use a knife, handgun and shotgun/bowgun or magnum/grenade launcher. I.e., if you pick up the shotgun/bowgun do not pick up the magnum/grenade launcher; or if you want the magnum/grenade launcher, do not pick up the shotgun/bowgun. Also, no weapons upgrades are allowed on any weapon and only one of each type of weapon. I.e., do not pick up the shotgun/bowgun from the dead shopkeeper then pick it up later in the game.
Rebecca Chambers Picture
Walk into the S.T.A.R.S office, go to the back of the room and click on Wesker’s desk (with the “This desk is trashed someone must of searched it” description). Search the desk fifty times to find a photo of Rebecca Chambers as a basketball player.
Shoot The Screen
While playing Leon’s scenario, take the unlimited ammunition shotgun and go to the roof where the helicopter crashed. Stand near the door leading inside, and make sure that a close-up view of Leon appears. Aim the shotgun at the screen and fire. Bullet holes will appear. Note: This may also be done at any location where Leon can aim at the screen with the shotgun. Another way to do this is when Leon in the gun shop after the zombies killed the man. Get the shot gun from him and go to the bus that has crashed. Make sure you do not use the shot gun while going to the bus. Once inside the bus, kill the two zombies (on the floor and walking). Go to the back of the bus, where Leon entered, and aim at the screen. In the first scenario as Claire, you can shoot the screen in the hall where the S.T.A.R.S. room is located (where you get the fax). It is not in that room, but it is in that hallway. Keep trying until you get it. As Hunk in the green crow hall where you fight the second Tyrant, go around the second corner in that room. As you shoot at the Tyrant with a shotgun it will shoot the screen. You can shoot the screen anywhere you can point at it with any gun except the grenade launcher, BOW gun, rocket launcher, or flamethrower.
Film D
Search the desk on the left side of the S.T.A.R.S. office. The phrase “Its trashed someone must have searched it” will be displayed. Repeatedly search the desk approximately fifty times until a roll of film is found. Take the film and develop it in the photo lab to see a picture of Rebecca in a basketball uniform.
Alternate Uniforms
Start a game on the normal difficulty setting. Then, go to the police station without collecting any items. Quickly move past the zombie that appears in the alley near the police station. Collect the shotgun, then kill the zombie. Take the special key from the zombie’s body and go to the dark room to open the lockers with alternate uniforms. Claire has a single alternate uniform, with a quick shooting revolver. Leon has two alternate uniforms, one of which will allow him to shoot with one hand.
Tofu Scenario
Successfully complete either character’s first and second scenarios in less than three hours. Then, play the game again with the other character, and successfully complete their first and second scenarios in less than three hours. Play the game a third time and complete either character’s first and second scenarios again in less than three hours. Note: The game must be saved less than twelve times during each of the six scenarios played and bonus weapons must not be used. Tofu is a piece of tofu (food) that must reach the second floor of the police station from the sewer with just battles and no puzzles. Tofu can not use any weapons other than a knife.
Hunk Scenario
Successfully complete either character’s second scenario in under two hours and thirty minutes with saving less than twelve times. Hunk is a soldier that must reach the second floor of the police station from the sewer with just battles and no puzzles.
Bonus Weapons
Successfully complete either character’s first scenario in under two hours and thirty minutes with an A or B ranking for the rocket launcher with infinite ammunition. Successfully complete either character’s second scenario in under two hours and thirty minutes hours with an A or B ranking for the gatling gun with infinite ammunition. Successfully complete either character’s second scenario in under three hours with an A or B ranking for the machine gun with infinite ammunition. Note: The bonus weapon will appear in the next game after the first chest is opened.
Cheats
