Aléx could only blink as he felt everything spin around him. He could see his twin above him crying. Her lips were moving but, all he could hear was a high pitch ringing sound. He didn't know what just happened but, he had a good enough idea.

The person who was supposed to care for them had hurt him again. It was sad that this was his first guess but, he knew it was true. One of his last memories were of his father yelling at him before everything went dark. He tries to move his head, only for the world to start spinning even more. He then closes his eyes, trying to make the feeling go away as he feels his stomach roll.

It's then the ringing goes away, and he can finally hear his twin's voice.

"Aléx? Aléx? Why aren't you answering me, speak up? Are you ok?" Jennifer's voice finally came through to him. Whiny and sad as ever.

He didn't dare move his head again but, he tried his best to give her a smile and ease her worries. At least.... he's pretty sure he did. His arm feels heavy, like when he was in the hospital and got all that medicine again. Still, he tries to reach for her hand, which she gladly takes.

His sister was alright. That's all that mattered right now.

"I'm ok. You can stop crying now. Shhhh." He does his best to soothe her. It seems to work, as she lays down next to him and cuddles up. His arm then wraps around her. Rubbing a small circle on her back. Just like he always did whenever she needed comforting.

"I'm ok, sis don't worry. I'd never leave you." He says, quietly, and he feels really sleepy somehow. Still, they probably shouldn't sleep in the middle of the floor. They would probably get yelled at or worse... stepped on in the morning and beat again. But, first he would have to wait for his head to stop spinning and hurting, along with his body no longer feeling heavy.

He opens his eyes again and his head hurts. Why was everything spinning?

got tired of the picrew icon and wanted something pink to go along with my what? 3rd pink theme so i scrolled through my pink tag and found the cat in front of the flowers and thought " this is PERFECT omg like" and so i changed it and i was right it WAS perfect <3
