2017 Through My Eyes Travel Inspiration

Want some serious travel inspiration from a world traveler.

This is my 2017 highlights. The year through my eyes.

Thank you to everyone who appears in this video for making my 2017 an amazing year! I have tried to include as many as possible but if you aren’t included it might be because we didn’t get a photo!

I was lucky enough to travel 26 countries on 5 continents. I started the year in Bulgaria and backpacked Europe for 3 months and then through Israel, Egypt and Thailand on my way home to New Zealand.

I spent 5 weeks at home at Gorge River and had 3 friends come and stay and hiked the 50km walk to my house 4 times.

I escaped New Zealand winter and headed to Tonga where I lived on an almost deserted tropical island paradise for 2 months.

One day I received an email offering me a position at Scott Base in Antarctica. 2 weeks later I had gone from +30 degrees in Tonga to -42 degrees in Antarctica.

Here I worked as a Field Trainer. So I taught people how to live and work safely outside in Antarctica. Teaching extreme survival skills!

I am living life to the full and I hope to inspire others to also make the most of every day of the year!
