Welcome to Detective Review part 3!
Once again I rate entertainment value of fictional detectives. I know last time I said there will be more books. There's four. Not much, but I did try. Let's get to it!
-
Andri Ólafsson
Tumblr media
from: Trapped (2015), tv series type: police chief
A pro with a team of zero experience, stuck in a middle of nowhere in a snowstorm. He's too tired for all this. And his throat is unable to feel cold, apparently. 2/10, pretty much no entertainment.
-
Franciszek Kary
from: Cham z kulą w głowie (2020), novel by Ziemowit Szczerek type: private investigator
This guy is far from perfect but it's not often that I actually laugh out loud at a book. People complain online that he swears too much but I say it adds to the vibe. A lot happens to him. 8/10
-
Gregory House & James Wilson
Tumblr media
from: House MD (2004-2012), tv series type: doctors
Easiest 9/10 ever. Iconic.
-
Tereesz Machejek, Inayat Khan & Jesper de la Guardie
from: Sacred and Terrible Air (2013), novel by Robert Kurvitz type: International Collaboration Police agent, disappearance memorabilia collector, interior designer
Definitely a 1/10 as far as fun is concerned but I recommend giving the book a try anyway, it's mighty different from the usual. The one score point is for the hint of a dynamic between the three detectives.
-
Carl Butler
Tumblr media
(idk if this^ is actually him, but this is the book's cover and he's the protag, soooo...)
from: Planetside (2018), novel by Michael Mammay type: retired colonel
I felt a vague sense of mediocrity but I can't exactly pinpoint the flaw cause the book reads alright, the writing is solid. He's likable, 5/10.
-
Dick Durkin & Harley Stone
Tumblr media
from: Split Second (1992) type: cops
Amazing, brilliant, talented, incredible. Another easy 9/10. The duo meets London's typical sewage nightmare beyond comprehension and they are soooooo cool about it. Harley's apartment deserves a special mention - what the hell, dude.
-
Wiktor Forst & Olga Szrebska
from: Exposure (2015), novel by Remigiusz Mróz type: a cop and a journalist
Get out of here. 0/10.

Thanks for tuning in! We had no video games this time and the previous one was netflix-only, so I'll try to fix that in the next one

It was early, and freezing cold. Nobody's faces look good, but Wiktor looks by far the worst. Sunken in eyes, pale skin. The first victim they joked that Wiktor looked worse, but this was the second one without a head. No doubt another famous person, since the last one was a minister's son. At least that had gotten help in, and his mother hired some fancy investigator. Wiktor had no opinions on this new guy they had brought in, if he was good, he'd find out, and if he was bad, he'd find out. At least it was not hung from the top of an antenna this time, though it was on frozen ice and so out of caution the retrieval team was moving it.
"You're the celebrity here. The corpse as well. For most of the people who actually live here, there is nothing going on." The city is huge, but unless it's a skiing season it's almost deserted, and sometimes even then. Such was the destiny of a tourist town begone, which clinged onto life by its proximity to other towns that still remained tourist attractions. "Soon the cameras will come, and then the people." This Doyle looked dressed for it, really, in contrast to his simple, all black outfit.
He moved past Doyle to the truck with the coffee machine... And to look at one of the few parked cars. Olga had arrived already, but a single look from Forst had sent her back inside it. Sighing, he poured it out into a paper cup, this sole act warming his fingers through his gloves.
"Do you want coffee? It's disgusting, but it's warm. We have some time until we can look at the corpse up close." His voice sounded unnaturally hoarse, as if he had been screaming all day. He looked at the small lake, trying not to focus on the layer of snow. It was not a lot, but it was too early for it to thaw, so it was impossibly bright. God, what a terrible bitch of a Monday.

Tropy, jakie odkryje wraz z dziennikarką Olgą Szrebską, doprowadzą go do dawno zapomnianych tajemnic… Winy z przeszłości nie dadzą o sobie zapomnieć. Okrutne zbrodnie muszą zostać odkupione." . 🚬📰🚔🏔🚔📰🚬 . #książka #book #mólksiążkowy #bookstagram #bookstagrampl #polskibookstagram #booklover #czytam #igreads #reader #czytambolubię #bthe1thinking #bookworm #booknerd #ksiazki #booksofinstagram #książki #bookstagrammer #czytamy #filia #remigiuszmroz #ekspozycja #forst #giewont #tatry #numizmat #monety #quaran https://www.instagram.com/p/CAuR2vJhvOq/?igshid=1eavj6dc4wtpt

Deniwelacja Deniwelacja Remigiusz Mróz Gdzie jest Wiktor Forst? To pytanie zadają sobie zakopiańscy śledczy, gdy topniejący w Tatrach śnieg odsłania makabryczny widok na zboczach Giewontu.

Remigiusz Mróz - Przewieszenie
Tumblr media
Podhalem wstrząsa seria wypadków w górach. Początkowo czarna passa wydaje się jedynie ciągiem pechowych zdarzeń, jednak śledczy ostatecznie odkrywają związek między ofiarami. Każe on sądzić, że ktoś morduje turystów na szlakach. Dochodzenie prowadzi komisarz Forst. Kiedy zbliża się do rozwiązania sprawy, doganiają go upiory z przeszłości. Wiktor Forst będzie musiał stawić czoła nie tylko człowiekowi, którego ściga, ale także ludziom gotowym zrobić wszystko, by go pogrążyć. audiobooka czyta Krzysztof Gosztyła KLIKNIJ ABY POBRAĆ
