So the boyfriend, who was threatening suicide and the girlfriend who was his ex. Girlfriend kept on telling him to commit suicide... If you know somebody is susceptible to suggestions and you do that suggestion, it is like poisoning them..... And any form of poisoning is called premeditated, attempted murder or murder...
If the person dies, you would be guilty of premeditated murder, which is the highest classification of murder and can get you the death penalty in many places.Feb 4, 2022

Intentionally poisoning someone is a felony offense under Penal Code 347(a)(1). It states that a person is guilty if they intentionally mix a harmful substance or poison with food, drink, medicine, or water, knowing or should have known that someone would consume it. The sentence depends on the circumstances of the case, but can include:
General act of poisoning: Two, four, or five years in state prison
Anyone dies or is seriously injured: Three years added to the sentence

Penal Code § 347 PC - Poisoning Food, Drink, Medicine or Water
Willfully Poisoning. Penal Code 347(a)(1) states that a person is guilty of a felony if he: “Willfully” mixes any poison or harmful substance with any food, drink, medicine, pharmaceutical product, or public water supply; and, Knows, or should have known, that a person would take or consume the poisoned substance. 1.
Some examples of PC 347 offenses include:
Pouring cyanide into well water
Mixing bleach into food and serving it to someone
Defenses for PC 347 offenses include:
Your actions were not malicious
Your actions were not willful
You had no intent to injure or annoy the person
In some cases, poisoning can also be considered first-degree murder.
So this is the difference from somebody being mentally ill. And the voices are actually inside their head. And you're not saying it to them, but when you're saying it to them than it is premeditate it, and that means you can be charged with attempted murder, even if nothing happens to them. You can be charged with attempted murder... If you know they're susceptible to suggestion and you do these things, then each time you do, it is account of premeditated, attempted murder....

When They See Us
By Kiara Breault, George Washington University Class of 2022
July 7, 2019
Tumblr media
On May 31st, Netflix aired the four episode installment of the series, When They See Us. This show was written and directed by Ava DuVernay. DuVernay is also known for her work on the documentary, 13th which is an in depth look into the mass incarceration of Black and Brown citizens in the United States. When The See Us, has a similar tone, and is based off of the story of the Central Park Five. The Central Park Five is a group of Black and Hispanic boys (now men), who were wrongly convicted of the rape and battery of Trisha Meili in 1989(1). Meili went for a jog in Central Park when she was brutally beaten, raped and dumped in a nearby ravine. She was one of eight other similar attacks that happened in the area. Meili was severely, and was in a coma for twelve days. When she came to and was questioned about the attack she had no recollection of the situation. However, the police believed that the attacks were done by a group of teenagers, and inevitably arrested five boys. Their names are Korey Wise, Raymond Santana, Yusef Salaam, Antron McCray, and Kevin Richardson (2).
In the case there was DNA evidence found, however it did not match any of the defendants’.  The boys strongly denied the allegations, but in the end they were indicted on charges ranging from 5-15 years in 1990 (2). DuVernay’s adaptation of this case has brought to light the incredibly strong forces that worked on the conviction of these individuals. One of them being none other than President Donald Trump himself. President Trump got on national television condemning the boys, and paid to run two major ads pushing for the death penalty. Recently, when the President was asked if he would apologise for his harsh comments against The Five he stated, “You have people on both sides of that...they admitted their guilt (3).”
Another major player in the case was the Manhattan District Attorney, Elizabeth Lederer who is heavily scrutinized for the inaccuracy of the DNA match, seeing as she served as senior counsel to the DA’s forensic and cold-case unit. After the series came out Lederer, who lectured at Columbia Law School has since resigned, because of protests on campus (1). The most heavily dissected character of the series however, is Lisa Fairstein. Fairstein served as the District Attorney’s Sex Crimes Chief, and was the driving force behind The Five’s conviction. When They See Us has sparked activists pushing to boycott her work, and has even lead to her publisher cancelling her book deal, and pulling all of her books from. Faistein has deleted all social media because of alleged harassment, but has written an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, defending her actions (4).
In 2001 Matias Reyes a convicted murderer and serial rapist, confessed to the attack on Trisha Meili. His DNA was tested and it matched the original DNA presented in court. Reyes stated that he acted alone, he was never prosecuted for the crime because the statute of limitations had passed. With Reyes’ confession and further investigation, the now men were released from prison in 2002. The following year the men sued New York City for “malicious prosecution, racial discrimination, and emotional distress”. For twelve years the city refused to settle, in the belief that they would win the case, but eventually settled for $41 million in 2014 (2).
Most of the men have since moved away from New York City, save for Korey Wise. Wise funds the Korey Wise Innocence Project, which works with wrongly convicted individuals to provide free counsel. All of the men also help contribute to this cause, and have started lives of their on with their families (2). When They See Us is still available on Netflix, and is currently the most watched show in the U.S. since its release (5).

So as you see nuclear tests leave long legacy of environmental scar.... North Korea has done numerous underground nuclear test and the nuclear waste leaches into the groundwater and that goes into the drinking water of North Korean and South Korean people and also into the ocean to pollute their fish and all aquatic life. And then you swim in those oceans contaminated with nuclear waste... So I don't think you want to swim in the water highly contaminated.... So this causes a problem for decimalization as well. Getting out the nuclear waste is a whole different thing. Those are atomic and sub atomic particles.
North Korea has conducted six underground nuclear tests since 2006 at Punggye-ri in the northeast of the country. Each test has produced a progressively higher magnitude blast and estimated yield. In 2018, North Korea announced that it would shut down the site after "verifying" its nuclear capabilities. In 2022, North Korea returned to major weapons tests with the debut of its Hwasong-17.

Six underground tests have previously been carried out at Punggye-ri. However, in 2018 North Korea said it would shut the site down, because it had "verified" its nuclear capabilities. Some of the tunnels into the site were subsequently blown up in the presence of foreign journalists.

Between 2006 and 2017, a total of six underground nuclear tests were conducted at Punggye-ri in the northeast of the country. Dec 19, 2023 — Pyongyang pivoted back to major weapons tests in March 2022, debuting its next-generation Hwasong-17. Since then, North Korea has prioritized developing ICBMs that could fly even farther and upgrading their rocket engines. The Hwasong-15 could travel an estimated 8,100 miles and reach the U.S. within a half-hour.
North Korea's nuclear program is centered around the Yongbyon nuclear reactor and reprocessing plant. North Korea's nuclear weapons have progressed beyond building simple fission weapons with estimated diameters of 50-60 centimeters and estimated explosive yields of less than 15 kilotons.
