3am thoughts once again

This time the topic is funk Branch. I was reading this fanfic on ao3 (shocker I know) and a thought came to mind. In most of the funk Branch Aus ive seen its usually branch but cooper stays in pop. When cooper reunites with his bio fam its sweet and I could totally see Branch being happy for his family finding cooper and everything but…. Wouldn't he ask if his brothers come back?

Like imagine you see how your family finally finds their missing son after 19ish years of searching they find him meanwhile the brothers that abandoned you never even tried. The angst potential. The parallels!

That said I think branch and cooper would be good bros in the Au still.

I wanted to add more cause peeps on that bird app working my nerves. Yes I didn't like what Misha said during his live yesterday, but folks really acting like he made multiple comments and has did nothing but fat shamed throughout the entire live. If folks are hurt that's on them (they have that right). They can unfollow and ignore his existence. Don't support his work, etc. BUT what I'm seeing are people wishing him harm, and going after his looks. Even before yesterday people were making fun of his hair, his looks and his age under his post about RandomActs last week. When people called them out on it, their response: "it's a joke! He doesn't care" but these same people want to hold Misha accountable for his words during yesterday's live. They're out for fucking blood! Which, yes, what he said was ignorant, but was not malicious. If Misha can do better then we ALL can as well. These same folks who mocked Misha's looks, his age, his needing hip replacement are actually saying in their tweets "saying I don't like his hair cut is not the same as fatshaming" sweet, yall dragged that man with memes, gifs, pictures making fun of him. And the ones who were not outright mocking him were saying "petition to have Misha hair be like Cas again" and other remarks like that. That in itself is shaming and hurtful. The idea the appearance of age equals less desirable, lesser intelligence "you're an old man being crazy take a nap". Harm is harm. Body shaming of any kind is hurtful. Misha recognized what he said and how harmful it was and has apologized. Are those folks going to apologize for the ageism and body shaming they engaged in? Want others to do better, it's needed. Calling out harmful words behavior is important, but also look within ourselves cause NONE of us are immune to bias, harmful behavior.

Misha I love ya, but yeah that remark during your live today made me bristle. We need to get rid of the stereotype that plus size people cannot be athletes or run. Something you and frankly EVERYONE needs to think about.

I'm not calling for blood like some on Twitter are doing, but I will call it out. Y'all saw my previous posts. Imma call Mish out cause I love him and want him to do better. That's all I gotta say.
